I heard that a few years ago Decret was considered one of the favorites of the crypto industry ... now only the coin community and elders in the market know about this project. How did it happen? Why is Decret losing ground? Does the team have plans to bring back popularity and fame?
the Devs of Decred were the first which implemented the Bitcoin protocol within a modular framework in Go. And that without almost any documentation because the reference (which was available) was just the code of the original Satoshi client in C++. This was a incredible performance. Later they released a own altcoin based of the Go code. I guess it was to early ahead of the ICOs/Scams later and the project was not a large success for them. yep, unfortunately, most of humanity is stupid. Only 2% have qi above 150. Since 2016, any idiot is able to create an erc20 token, call it a cryptocurrency, create a beautiful whitepaper with a proposal that will never leave the paper and create an ICO where the cattle will put their money believing that it is possible and will be the future . Whales who are part of the 2% and are only interested in making money, see these stupid people as an easier and faster way to make a profit. They leave aside good currencies to invest and pump up scams. If you have any issue with Bittrex and Poloniex address it but calling names and alleging such criminal label is not good. Have been this 2 exchanges for over 3 years and have no issue with, though the exchanges might struggling with some internal problems it does not affect the users of their exchange. Bittre and Poloniex are exchanges that barely list coins and do a lot of research on their coin, they are the only exchange they stop an IEO late on their exchange because of scam discovery
Bittrex is scam. I've lost money there myself due to their fucked up KYC system. If someone has been using them without issues it doesn't mean they're not stealing from other users because they are. And they are quite clever about it, $20 here, $50 there - not enough to take them even to a small claims court. Even if you could sue their Nevada shell corp you'd probably have very little chance to collect on that judgement. I have filed complaints with CFPB and FBI/IC3 and I would suggest everyone who lost money do that (also check with FTC, SEC, and local regulators depending on circumstances). Each individual complaint doesn't matter much but if it reaches a critical mass hopefully it will cause them some trouble. I also don't have anything in my ignore list, likely because I had to see every post before when I used to be mod, and if I needed to actually ignore someone, I could just skip whatever they posted.
