Store more of my bitcoins in my brain wallet, so I can keep them wherever I go, passphrase words that do not exist on the web and longer than private key. I can easily remember it because it's all personal to me.

Nothing has changed.

At least there's still hope.

And the result? Everything blocked for months. Wheres the advantage?

I think Ken is acting stupid profit wise but a court blocking everything for months or years and getting pennies back in some years is no alternative.

547  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Question about this all power ... what bitcoin do if the power fluctuate ? on: January 09, 2014, 06:12:55 AM
Yes, difficulty can decrease, it will always adjust depending on the network hashrate

Div time!

There are still some coins maturing, but they won't mature in time for div payout.

We already planned to sell some NMC this week but we decided to sell all (Nucleon's argument makes sense; if you still want namecoins just buy them from divs Smiley). We sold 1200 NMC for a total of 10.65265 BTC (in tx's
https://blockchain.info/tx/e664d40751feca35d34e0e69feab11281c8b00795008557a7b3d3303a3960e41 and

Also as you might have noticed our hashrate has gone down a bit last week. It seems one beaglebone (the mainbord of a miner) is broken causing one miner not to hash anymore. We are determining the best cause of action. We have two options:
- sell the working ASIC boards as upgrades to other miners (and have the beaglebone repaired by KnC and kept as spare)
- attach the ASIC boards to other working miners until the beaglebone is repaired. (downside being that we'd have to open up other miners and restart them in order to add the other boards. Restarting is what "broke" the other one so we're not to thrilled about that).

We'll keep u updated on this.

Because of the NMC sells, the dividend is higher than last week.
The numbers:
Balance in wallet: 53.87889563 (still 2.23201181 generated coins without enough confirmations to transfer)
Still in wallet for non-confirmed shares: 1.0934094
Hosting costs: 2.385159011
Dividends: 50.40032722
Dividends per share: 0.00015053
Namecoin balance: 9.77868108 (almost all sold)

Only 678 shares left to confirm.

Latest sharelist can be found here:
http://pastebin.com/e95ts4YT

Dividends have been sent in tx: 9604f1a65f6c84abfe0850f5e83ce5996509e09cd275971992893bb4bc6d2b6a

Cheers!

Great! Received mine, thanks Tyrion
549  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BTCINVEST - Low risk investment fund | Market cap: 2000+ BTC on: January 02, 2014, 04:56:03 AM
There are a few issues involved here.

A. The share count is less than 42.
B. I think, (I do not have the info in front of me when typing this), that the shares I have frozen were in TF's personal account. I am not sure there are any in the BTCInvest account.
C. While I may have control enough to distribute shares, FriedCat has full control over past and future dividends and is holding that from here on.
So in theory he has more control, I am just giving him confirmed and completed versions of the already public AssetList for G.AsicMiner-PT that he has.

As soon as I have a chance I will confirm some of this.

Also, a few people have asked if I would be willing to take over the BTCInvest asset and try to help wrap it up since TF has disappeared since I have the most knowledge over the account at least on BF. As to this, I would consider it, but only if TF does not pop up and agree to take it over and do it right, and if the other asset issuers would accept control over the assets since I obviously would not be able to sign a message for the public address. If it were to happen, I would probably put up a similar claim portal to the one I am making for Ukyo.Loan. And also the majority of BTCInvest'ors would need to agree.

-Ukyo

Anything that will return my BTC back I will agree and thanks you.

552  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining with CEX.IO or why do I not believe skeptics on: December 23, 2013, 01:35:39 PM
And what if you keep reinvesting the payouts inluding those altcoins (nmx, ixc and dvc)?
You will end up losing as well, big time.
The only way to make profit with cex.io is by trading, buy low and sell high.
553  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: December 21, 2013, 06:44:44 AM
Again sorry for the delay. The investor portal has been updated and you all should see the dividend hit your bitcoin address's before the end of the night. Any news that I post on there I will also post on the forums and I will provide a link.

I think you may have under cooked the transaction fee there - that's why it hasn't propagated or confirmed in the last 4 hours...
A fee of 0.0005 is probably the minimum for a transaction of this size (between 4 and 5 KB)

On a different note, I'm glad to see signs of progress with resurrecting business operations. Keep the updates coming  Smiley

yup just realized that...

When are you planning on releasing the dividends? Haven't received anything in my wallet yet.

Thanks.

+1 I haven't seen mine either.

They were sent 2 days ago, but with no transaction fee. So they are still unconfirmed and probably will be for some time yet.

Just received an email from blockchain.info that the transaction confirmation failed because it was taking a long time to be included in the block.

558  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Question about mining with servers on: December 17, 2013, 04:12:07 AM
For bitcoin you can use cex.io, trade mining shares and earn mining profit.

For altcoins that required CPU miners like ProtoShares(PTS), Primecoin(XPM) you can rent a cloud/server hosting and setup your miner
Google "primecoin cloud mining" and "protoshares cloud mining" how to setup miner

560  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: December 14, 2013, 03:25:24 AM
In the Loan column, I clicked the Lend button with min 60 lending days, an alert message "Invalid offer: maximum lending period is 30 days"

It got changed some days ago. Only 30 Day max loans now.

Yes, what I mean is the 60 days in the Loan column listing is probably an Autolend, it means you cannot manually select that lend if it is displaying 60 days.
