541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of LTC peak again in 2020? on: January 10, 2020, 11:24:57 AM
Only a short term hype and right now the price of litecoin is going back again to the bottom as the correction that happened with bitcoin.
The futures launch of litecoin doesn't give a lot of impact on the price of litecoin. I guess you can see how the price of litecoin is also getting a small correction too.
it will not touch the peak price again as the big event of litecoin has already ended.
It's so difficult for litecoin to get the bullish trend alone without a big event, mimble wimble news is not yet coming for litecoin.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Strategy: Withdraw 50% ETH and looking to invest in Altcoin on: January 10, 2020, 06:06:18 AM
Currently, Ethereum is one of the most secure altcoin, why would you exchange it for altcoins that have pretty uncertain future?
Think twice before you made the final decision.
It looks like you didn't even wanna watch the market. it caused by the chart of ethereum is not so impressive like another coin. When ethereum increases and another coin gets increase too but when bitcoin is also getting increase ethereum goes down and those altcoins are getting increase too.
It's better to search for the volatility caused by this will bring us a lot of possibilities to earn even more than when you are putting your money in ethereum. Ethereum is for the long term and not short term holders.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is Faking Its Numbers, Claims Bitfinex Whale on: January 10, 2020, 12:11:17 AM
That's true but binance is not faking a lot of percentage from its volume just like what already done by crap exchange site like p2pb2b. Some altcoins may get manipulated on its volume and as far as i can see if what happened with matic has already proven it. Not only binance but even bitfinex too. there is not a lot of transparency in the cryptocurrency exchange site.
It could be a competition between binance and bitfinex but that whale is not even 100% wrong about that as some people have already seen the suspicious things happened with binance.

I would like to see some people were starting to identify it right now.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] PARQ by Parksen - 🌳A Green, Smart and Connected World🌳 on: January 09, 2020, 04:28:58 PM
Just read in telegram, that the project first going to create a solution, test it and only after that they will do the listing.

Strange that they only now starting to find a solution. I thought that they already have a solution to parking spots and raising funds to apply it.
But turned out that they raised funds only after that started to do something. But what if they failed ? Will they return money raised to investors ?
And not so unsurprisingly the website is no longer accessible, the CEO Edwin Postma has run away with whatever collected funds and so is the telegram admin. Social sites have been silent for so long. Green this, green that, make everything smart, real estates type of shite, cheap effort of trying to fool people - needs to be stopped and fought by the community. How many of the similar ICOs have come up with the same thing over the past 3 years and ended up either failed or scams? Almost every single one of them!
I guess this one only raised a very small amount as not so many people are joining in the telegram group and the majority of users in the parq telegram group were bots.
This project is not transparent and that means the result of ico can be manipulated. That's why not so many people are getting louder caused by this project has turned into a scam project.
This project was very suspicious in the past when it has not yet done with its ico.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Step By Step Join WEBOUNTY.io Earn over 500 USDT bounty rewards every week on: January 09, 2020, 09:01:47 AM
this is not the correct place for you to advertise your platform and it's better for you to move your topic to the service discussiong of altcoin or create a new announcement about your service. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=198.0

The real problem in the bounty platform these days if lack of the protection to the participants and did your platform use escrow or not? is there guarantee if your platform will pay according to the prize that has already promised?
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much projects, good projects cant reach crypto ethusiasts on: January 09, 2020, 05:49:18 AM
Scam projects are spreading very fast and its very hard to know which project is not a scam project, investing in new projects is very scary now, for better safety its better to go for old altcoins, somehow they are still better in terms of trust issue
Remember that crypto enthusiast will be digging even more when there was no good project that meets their requirements to be considered as a good project. So many people and investors are doing their due diligence to identify which is the scam project. If you are having a lot of experience in the past and so many major coins were not so popular when they were on the ico phase. But their crowdsale has been getting ended instantly without need a lot of time. A good project can reach crypto enthusiasts.
It's not so scary if you have a lot of knowledge about how to do that. So many newcomers have no knowledge about that and they keep to rush it.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 09, 2020, 12:40:49 AM
Good instruction, but I’m sure anyway someone in the hope of quick enrichment will fall on these pyramids. That is probably the essence of man. Most of all, of course, beginners are at risk.
Im not sure about that, when so many people are wanna become rich person quickly and so many of them will try to join in the IEO and can it be considered as a pyramid scheme? As far as i can see that right now there is no a lot of pyramid scheme as so many investors and traders know about how to identify the pyramid scheme.
the beginner is getting more awareness from the experts right now. People aware of which is the project that offers the pyramid scheme and they have been learned a lot from their past experience.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs. Private Blockchain, which is better? on: January 08, 2020, 10:21:30 AM
that depends on the purpose of the users. The private blockchain is much more scalable as it's a centralized blockchain that doesn't need a lot of validators or node to create decentralization. The public blockchain needs to be decentralized and that's why connecting so many nodes in the same network will make the blockchain less scalable.

When i wanna use it privately and private blockchain is better as i can control it but less security caused by it's fully centralized.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Strategy: Withdraw 50% ETH and looking to invest in Altcoin on: January 08, 2020, 05:26:37 AM
Are you shilling for titan? Roll Eyes
If you are smart enough and i think you are a smart person and to choose TTN is the worst thing that i hear this day. Isn't it better for you to put all of coins to the major coin rather than betting on a coin with zero daily trade volume like titan. i think yesterday i was seeing someone is also create a shilling thread for TTN.  Roll Eyes
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOs are still growing but very slowly on: January 08, 2020, 12:21:47 AM
Previously, there were projects that conducted STO that could be a big success and some that were not successful at all. Even now there are no more or only a few projects that do STO. That's because STO is not a good choice for investing.
Not so many projects in the past were that were conducting STO got big success. Almost the majority of STO in the past was the unsuccessful project. Based on the old history of STO in crypto and the demand is very very low compared with ICO or even IEO. that's why so many people don't wanna use STO as the word to raise awareness from the market.
Almost all of STOs in the past are scam and none of them become a successful project.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any new projects that will go live soon & will have bounty? on: January 07, 2020, 02:13:37 PM
Since the beginning of this year so far the only legit project that looks promising enough is Cartesi, very new idea and use cases and good partnerships as well, this is still the only project that worth my time presently
Ah it's not true because the product of cartesi is not yet alive and it's still on the phase to conduct an IEO which will be launching on the unknown exchange site (it's still on the consideration)
That's implementing an old idea into the new way.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a cell phone on: January 07, 2020, 09:34:45 AM
if this is true, then it will only make the cellphone you have short-lived. as we know that mining needs hardware that is active for 24 hours, and that will make your cell phone work hard. Well, if it works, I don't know whether the results are the same as what you want or not. I suggest to look for other ways to mining
It's not true at all. As far as i know when that coin use a good algo that creates efficiency and that will not make your phone will be overheat caused by mine for 24 hours. Some people have already tried to use their phone to mine ETN in the past and it looks like they can still running until now. But just try to use an old phone will much better.
what makes coin that already mentioned by OP is not worth to mine caused by it has no liquidity.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: January 07, 2020, 04:53:50 AM
If btc manage to touch $100k then how lucky those btc hodlers are.  But i think it wont happen cause if btc reach $20k many will sell thier btc and  thats the time bitcoin price will drop again,.
Im not sure about that when bitcoin still has a lot of potentials to grow even more than this time. Remember the sky is limit and there are not actual digits to determine what will be the maximum price for crypto as it's based on the demand and supply.
The price of bitcoin will not drop again as so many people will try to get bitcoin as much as they can. Those early holders and buyers of bitcoin were the luckiest people in the world as they have become millionaires instantly.

The latest chart has proven if the bulltrend for bitcoin affects the whole market. that's the fact.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 07, 2020, 12:20:17 AM
I'm here to clear few facts about some crypto coins, i will start with exchange tokens, people are getting things mixed up when it comes to real use case, many thinks once a coin has a real use case it's a must buy well this is for you, let me start with binance, i love the exchange simply because of the seriousness of the team and CEO himself i believe that's why they made it this far but im not 100% sure about bnb token because it's use case ends on the binance exchange, outside the platform it's nada,  i belief any good real use case should be for the public but bnb token is limited in this area, everything about bnb ends on it's exchange.

My second point is pointing towards Proof of Stake coins, we all love earning with no big hassle like POW coins but at the same time have you ever think that apart from the POS ability what is the use case of the token or coin itself? Many keep making this mistake that once a coin has staking ability it's the best, this is why many POS coins loses value while you are holding them to get your reward annually.

I believe that POS ability is just a +, assuming the use case of a coin is for means of payments either with many merchants or so and the coin still has staking ability makes more sense than a coin with just staking ability alone, please be wise with the ways you define your real use cases
Every utility token is limited to its platform especially tokens not coins. We all should get these facts right now to avoid a repeat of the past year tokens performance. This really is the difference between tokens and coins. For coi ss, they fuel their blockchain network such as Eth that every token on her blockchain uses it as gas. BNB is not the o ly cryptocurrency affected but every utility toke. Is.
The coins must be utility too. Basically, there is no a lot of difference as utility is the main requirement for token or coin will not be called as security. When a coin already used as gas to create tx and it doesn't mean you can call that as utility coin because it's only to pay the fees to use the network.
Remember some blockchain like EOS coin and TRON coin can still be considered as security too. The main point is not there.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: January 06, 2020, 09:28:50 AM
Hello friends. All of you know about the BCNEX (Exchange) project.

Within 7 days, the withdrawal is no longer available. I tried to turn to those support however they did not want to give my ETH. Many people also cannot withdraw money now.
I began to understand this question and understood. The project has run out of money and withdrawal is not available.

In no case do not invest in IEO on this platform !!!

One wallet - No money BCNEX
0x503b444a2b2d95b501c78d99d2302c75154e0e1d !

My 2.6 eth block . But I managed to bring 33 USDT

Tomorrow I will post some screenshots. On this issue.

!!! Scam Alert !!!
I just opened a bcnex exchanger account and I saw that it did, I tried to access the withdrawal button, but it didn't work at all. Will we lose the assets we have on the bcnex platform? Or is this really just a temporary fix for the platform? Has anyone tried to confirm it with BCNEX?

ETA for WD should be around 20 january but i will not expect that will be the correct date as any delay can appear anytime. As long as it's still active and you are not losing your money but that doesn't make sense that consumes more than two weeks to fix the problem. You can join in the TG group of BCNEX to talk it directly with CS but im not sure if that will give you the best answer about this problem.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Question regarding the Binance 2020 New year Message on: January 06, 2020, 05:28:05 AM
CZ wrote a long piece on Binance blog under the title Building Foundations - https://www.binance.com/en/blog/419417682154909696/Binance-2020-New-Year-Message-Building-Foundations--. Reading the whole piece, it seems to me that CZ has a true long term vision, which, I feel, is similar to Steve Jobs. But, as I dont follow, all Binance projects closely, it is difficult for me to properly evaluate his claims in the blog. Hence, I am putting forward a question to the community...

Are all the projects by Binance backed by BNB only or they have some other token as well?
They are all backed by BNB but that doesn't mean if those research and projects that have already shipped by binance in the past were getting funded with the binance token. This is a very important part when the company could started to generate regular revenue from its product.
Binance doesn't need new token as all of the research and development progress already covered from binance revenue

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/43564/binance-just-crossed-1-billion-in-cumulative-profit

enough money combined with skilful developer will bring you active product.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 05, 2020, 11:06:34 PM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding
And according to your statement and you can't sell your coin as it has not trading volume. Whatever how much the price of the token when that will useless as you said even if that will have zero volume and totally crap coin.
The product doesn't guarantee if that will always can attract the buyers to create liquidity. The demand will come for something that has offered a lot of usefulness for the investors and holders.
This always becomes the main concern. Hold a coin without liquidity same means you are holding nothing in your wallet.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: January 03, 2020, 11:55:28 AM
If you want to invest then it is ok to Buy NEO. But as profit concern it might not give you profit as a huge rise but long term holding then you must carry NEO without any doubt !

Thanks

One of the long-term investments that must be prepared for the next few years, but don't focus on just one type of Altcoin because all Altcoin has great potential even if it's just a hope.
not sure about when you are seeing the same platform which has been offering a better potential than NEO. I will stick for that altcoin and leave NEO.

If the current price of NEO is down so it does not hurt to invest in this coin, because the NEO coin is a coin that has followed another altcoin line that already has the potential so that it has a great possibility to grow back and use This opportunity is as good as possible in order to be able to get a big profit, and later will be equal to ethereum and other coins that already have the potential.
how is it possible to happen? When the price is going down and that means the trust from the traders and buyers have gone as the volume in the market is also getting decreased too.
That will hurt those people and think for a twice to invest in this coin again. I could not agree with your opinion about this.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: January 03, 2020, 09:33:24 AM
XRP is a solid coin with a very good use-case. I'm confident that people will use XRP rather than just Ripple the company. And I do think we will see a new ATH for XRP, but 2020 is maybe too soon. I know that things can move quickly, particularly with this coin, but looking at where the price is now and what market confidence is like, I think it would take a lengthy sustained altcoin bull run before we can think about XRP passing even the $1 mark.
What's use case that already offered by XRP? It's even a security coin that doesn't give a dividend to the holders and there is no financial report about how the performance of the ripple company since the ripple blockchain has existed.

The pressure that always giving by the ripple company is always continue and it will never end until all of the pre-mined coins will be dumped by the foundation and Jed.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token? vs Coin? on: January 03, 2020, 05:56:41 AM

These days, i am looking at Digifinex which does a lot of airdrop promotion.

But among several projects, BPX Token caught my attention because it is the only one with "Token"

So what does it mean by "Token?" Other coins do not have that term though...
The token is just like an asset of the platform. I just think the token must be built on the platform which is pegged to the main platform. i just called that as an asset rather than token. The majorities of assets can be considered as token too because it has already issued through the smartcontract that used coin as the requirement to create a contract to issue the token.
In cryptocurrency, coin means a native asset of the parent blockchain that runs on its own blockchain.
