5401  Economy / Economics / Re: Now I believe cryptocurrency may change the financial condition on: July 06, 2018, 02:22:56 PM
Eight months ago, my financial situation was not good at all,
I work that way, My income was about 45 to 50 dollars in the month,
I was disappointed with my income
Than a friend of mine suggested me to work with cryptocurrency. But I had no idea about cryptocurrency. Gradually, I learned to understand a lot about cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency gave me success in life, Now my income is 800 to 1500 dollars per month. Now I am very happy and now I believe cryptocurrency may change the financial condition
So how did you manage to earn 800 - 1500 USD per month? Did you start trading? If its trading, then you are taking huge risk. Keep in mind that trading and volatility is related. Your job used to give you a steady flow of income with no risks. But this is not the case with trading. You might end up with nothing or make some losses, thus being unable to pay your bills/rent. Even though you are trading, make sure you have a job that pays you something monthly.
5402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN won't die, period. on: July 05, 2018, 11:32:22 PM
As you can see that BTC is the largest crypto among all in the market, I just really do not understand why people like to claim that BTC is about to die, do not easily fall for these kinds of topics and think that Bitcoin is dying, put some research on it, its just another person's opinion but again it is misleading. One last thing before you reply, this is extremely important and might be a big help for you (especially for newbies) avoid agreeing with such wrong info given to you, be sure to take extra care in replying, and the most important part of all is that you should make some research and do not forget to read the thread (if necessary) it is also important as you can gain new information from other people, though just make sure that what you are reading is very much legitimate.

Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.
They just keep on saying that bitcoin will die to either troll people or out of jealousy since they missed their own opportunity to invest on bitcoin. They try to scare people off so that the people start selling their investment and cause a price drop. Those who actually fall for it are the weak ones and should never actually invest on crypto currencies.
5403  Economy / Economics / Re: Security issues relating to Private Keys storage on: July 05, 2018, 11:29:43 PM
To my hypothesis, there are a lot of crypto enthusiasts who are fond of keeping their private keys, Keystore / JSON File, seed words, mnemonic phrases etc to their wallet on cloud storage platforms like google drive and the several others. From my little research and experience, I personally think to keep these sensitive data isn't the best due to its nature of proneness to unauthorized accesses.

I'm positive there are individuals in this forum with profound knowledge regarding this topic. We would be grateful if you share with us your experience, tips, advice and most importantly, secured ways and means we can manage our private keys.

Thank You!
It would actually be really stupid to store your sensitive private information about your wallet on an online cloud storage. The chance of your account getting hacked is extremely high, so it is quite unsafe. The best way to write down all the information by yourself and make multiple copy of it. Store it somewhere safe which will not be possible by other people to reach. Even storing on any kind of hardware is also risky since the electronics tend to wear out as time goes by.
5404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ‘Buy the hype, sell the news’ on: July 05, 2018, 11:23:44 PM
It is true that any kind of events can cause change in the price of crypto currency. But that is not the case always. Remember, the price of crypto currency is unpredictable and does not follow the traditional market/economic laws. Sometimes you might see a negative news, but you will still see that the price has been unaffected by that news. Again the price rise caused by the hype is unreliable since the price will eventually fall and get corrected.
5405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going strong now, where were you during market price fall down? on: July 05, 2018, 11:19:13 PM
Crypto going strong now and i will going to ask you question. Where were you during market price falldown? Investing more crypto? or selling more crypto just because of fear that bitcoin might end? Well if you had sell your crypto better not invest huge amount of money if you will going to be afraid to lose some of it or even all of  your money.
You will find different kind of people doing different things during the market fall. Those who had confidence on the coin they invested took the opportunity and advantage of the market fall. They invested as much as possible during the fall. Again other were just holding and were did no further investment during the fall. And then there were people who got scared and cashed out their investment by selling their coins during the price crash.
5406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you think of currency what will come to your mind? on: July 05, 2018, 11:14:46 PM
It is already considered as a currency by most of the people in the world. The IMF will also start considering bitcoin and other usable crypto currencies as currency eventually. This is inevitable and is bound to happen no matter what. But right now we are using crypto currency to make profit instead of using it as a traditional currency. So as usual when we think of crypto currency, profit comes to our mind.
5407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 05, 2018, 07:47:54 PM
Whats there not to believe? Just look at the previous charts and the prices of bitcoin. You will see that price is actually increasing in the long run. So those who of have been holding bitcoin actually did make some good amount of profits. Same goes for the rest of the crypto currencies. Altcoins that are unique and are actually well known in the market has the better chances of making profit if you hold them for long time.
5408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: July 04, 2018, 08:25:16 PM
While there are several nations which are passing laws against crypto world.  Thailand has entered the list of the nations which have legalized crypto currency.  Thailand is mainly dependent on tourism industry.  So I think it is wise decision on t he part of a country where major source of income is from tourism.  So it will attract more tourists to this country.
It will benefit a lot to the country and is healthy signal for the health of Bitcoin family.
Crypto currencies were never banned in Thailand. They just made the law related to crypto currencies more clear. They started to regulate bitcoin and other crypto currencies (which is in fact a bad thing for most of the people including the investors) and are close enough to start taxing the investors and business models that uses crypto currencies. Lets just see what happens in the future.
5409  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Is it possible to understand bitcoin deeply without having an IT background? on: July 04, 2018, 08:20:19 PM
I have not an IT background and, at first, everything about bitcoin protocol seemed a puzzle to me. As time goes by, and I read more, what seemed unintelligible before, starts to make some sense. But I’m wondering if I will be able to understand it deeply without having studied computer science.

Do you think it is possible? Has any of you done it?

You will understand everything if you try. Like you said, at first everything will be extremely confusing, but the more you start to go through everything (i mean taking the help of the internet to understand those specific technical parts) the better you will understand. But yeah, to go deeper you might need to have some basic knowledge of computer science.
5410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The start of bull market? on: July 04, 2018, 08:16:18 PM
It is not the only factor that might cause a bull market run. Starting from Facebook has unbanning the advertisement of crypto currencies from its platform to Switzerland going to emerge as worlds "crypto  nation", we can expect the price to soar even higher. Even the government of Bermuda has become more crypto friendly along with Malta and Estonia as they started to realize the potential positive affect that crypto currencies can play in their economy.
5411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM future on: July 04, 2018, 08:08:39 PM
Stellar Lumens (XLM) is actually a very good investment. Actually better than Ripple (XRP) according to me. I kinda hate ripple. Ripple and banks are closely related, which makes decentralization for ripple coin some what weak. But that is not the case with stellar. In fact stellar has backing of IBM. Its a promising coin, so just hold it as long as you can.
5412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 04, 2018, 06:57:18 PM
The profit depends on how much you are willing to risk and how much time you can spend behind trading everyday. The more you invest and the higher your risk will be. But with higher risk, you will be making higher profit. Again the more time you will allocate to trading, the more you will be making. Your profit also depends on the coins you are investing on.
5413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First scam :) on: July 04, 2018, 06:14:19 PM
Well that is totally your fault you fell for it. You saw that they did not give out any information about them publicly which is one the signs about them trying to scam people. But you still went on to join them knowing that they will scam, so you indirectly encouraged them to scam more people. Make sure next time you be careful and alert others if you think they are trying to scam.
5414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: July 04, 2018, 06:11:01 PM
You have to act smart. Don't be stupid and fall for dumb obvious traps. If an offer sounds too good to be true try to avoid it as the chances of getting scam is actually high, specially if its from someone who has no reputation at all. Try researching about them before you take any further steps. Ask for reviews from people over here or some other sites. They might be able to judge if the site is legit or not.
5415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win? on: July 03, 2018, 07:39:23 PM
After a huge drop and price going below $6,000 USD, right now we can see the price recovering and going up to $6,700 (we haven't seen the price cross $6,500 in last few weeks). We can expect the price go above $7,000 anytime soon.  So i guess the upcoming months are actually going to be a bullish month.
5416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone with huge bitcoins has withdrawn the investment? on: July 03, 2018, 07:29:04 PM
I wonder why everytime bitcoin market price moves a little bit it can goes down and this always happen lately. I wonder what could be the reason for this but in my own opinion this is not the day trader anymore with huge bitcoin holdings that could use to manipulate bitcoin market price movement. This is something that has a huge bitcoin holdings and he eventually little by little withdraw his bitcoin holdings everytime it can go higher. Who do you think? Al FInney? or Satoshi Nakamoto?
Just a single person won't be able to influence the price of the market. The price starts to fall when group of investors at the same time decides to cash out their profit. Thus they end of selling their coins as soon as possible thus causing the price to fall. Also if someone withdraws small amount from time to time, it won't change the balance of the market at all.
5417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do if the altcoin price dumped? on: July 03, 2018, 07:25:32 PM
Depends on what coin it is. If it is some shit coins i have been holding with the hope the price skyrocketing for no reason to make some quick profit with high risk, then i would end up dumping it and minimize the loss. Once a shitcoin gets dumped, there is no way the price will go back up. But if it is some coins that are trending and reputed then i would still hold it and if possible invest more during the dump.
5418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you trade Bitcoin to buy Altcoins? on: June 30, 2018, 03:05:07 PM
Easy to say "I will make $500 in a day if the price jumps by only $0.05" but hard to execute. If it was that easy, we would have seen multiple people doing the same thing and thus easy money for everyone. But do we see them? Nope, cause it is actually not that easy. You are just considering about the price rise, but what if the price falls by $0.05? You would be losing $0.05 in matter of seconds.
It is true that you altcoins give more opportunity in making profit than bitcoin, but the risk associated with day trading is what holding people back.
5419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads.. on: June 30, 2018, 02:37:58 PM
This is obviously not good news, but facebook's founders are interested in encrypting money markets, they simply ban the advertising of ICO, but do not ban the encryption of cryptocurrency markets

I think that they have a secret plan to create their own ICO and they want to get involve in cryptocurrency since, in the cryptocurrency, they can reach more profit. maybe they did that is because they don't want to see that their user see too many ads about the ICO that can make their user being scam by the programs. we don't know what exactly their reason for banning cryptocurrency ads and until now, they don't make a clarification about this and I think it is better that we don't have too often to place the ads about the ICO in the facebook.
The banning was an old news. It has been almost two days since facebook decided to unban ICO related advertisements from their platform. The ban of advertising ICOs was due to high increase of scams and misleading information which made facebook partly responsible for letting those advertisements up. We hope that the current unban will positively affect the market.
5420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Future in Crypto on: June 30, 2018, 02:31:35 PM
Yes it is good if you don't have a job before joining crypto world but I will like to seek ideas from those that have reasonable jobs and I really want to know if you truly believe in Crypto so as to give away your job and fully dedicate full time to crypto or its not worth leaving everything because I see it as a long journey which I need to learn everyday.
Quitting your job for trading crypto currency would be a complete stupid thing to do. You would be risking yourself financially. Your job will be giving you a steady flow of money every month without any risk, but trading crypto won't be giving you that. Filled with risk where you can lose all. Instead get a job and invest your savings on bitcoin.
