6361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 17, 2017, 04:57:01 PM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?
If you would need liquid cash, i suggest you cash out right now without risking. But if you "can" hold your coins, hold them. With the price right now, its not the time to sell. Rather buy more if you can and wish to profit in the future.
6362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks and Bitcoins: Is it possible in th future? on: July 17, 2017, 04:44:01 PM
Bank = centralized.
Bitcoin = decentralized.
Deposit your bitcoins in bank and you lose control over your money whereas the bank will have full control of your coins and maybe deny access to it anytime they wish, meaning your bitcoin being  no more decentralized. Might happen in future, but the question is how many people will opt in?

6364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invested when BTC was at 2550 and 2320. What to do now? on: July 16, 2017, 08:58:47 PM
The price might go down more. You could sell now and buy when it goes lower or you can just hold your coins. Price is dropping just cause of investors panicking, just few more weeks till we get to know whats going to happen on august 1. Prices will go back stable after then.
I have bought my first bitcoin in 2015. It was 1BTC at that time.
LOL!
6365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: July 16, 2017, 08:51:04 PM
I think gambling worst option to try earning in bitcoin. We can choose gambling as worst option to earn bitcoins. If you have problem in this just be away then gamblers may loose all the money then gambling site owners high profit and implement new business in bitcoin itself.
One should never consider gambling as a form of earning money/bitcoin. Not even as the worst options. There are many other "worst" options which is far better than gambling with better outcome. You should gamble just for fun!
6366  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low can bitcoin price go till 1 august ? on: July 16, 2017, 03:15:15 PM
Panic sale has already started. We have more than a week to go before august 1. I am assuming the price will be under $1300 for now. Perfect time to buy and not regret later.  Smiley

6369  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Unauthorized login on Bittrex on: July 14, 2017, 01:55:32 PM

Same as me, but its not just bittrex. crypto.pl, eobot, poloniex, polybius, local bitcoin, hashcoin, purse, and more. I dont know i try to scan my computer with kaspersky, but nothing vital, just some wallet detect as bitcoin miner. I didnt see any spyware or keylogger. seriously what happen..
Might be some phishing emails too. Make sure you double check which site it redirects you to. They might take you to a similar looking name and site, ask you to login and make their job easier.  Always double check and stay safe.
6370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect my altcoins? Please help. on: July 14, 2017, 01:52:38 PM
Exchange isn't the safest place to store your coins. You can store it on your computer, but computer virus and infections are risks you should not be taking. Try investing on hardware wallets. They aren't very expensive but worth buying. Else you could go for paperwallet like everyone suggested.
6371  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Unauthorized login on Bittrex on: July 14, 2017, 11:25:51 AM
Somehow your username/e-mail and password got compromised. Do you use the same username and password on different sites (crypto related)? If you do maybe there might have been a database leak on one of those sites and now those who got hold of it are randomly trying to login on different exchanges/crypto related sites. Best to change all your password if you wish to avoid future troubles.
6372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any single place to buy ALL the altcoins(or at least majority of them)?? on: July 14, 2017, 11:15:35 AM
People just use different exchanges for different coins. Most of the alt coins are just shit coins with only pump and dumping going on.
Cryptopia does have a lot on alt coins, but i don't find them reliable.
Just open up different accounts on different exchanges. Will be safer since you wont be sticking to one exchange and lose all if that exchanges goes total scam.
6373  Economy / Services / Re: Need escrow for $200 deal on: July 14, 2017, 09:39:01 AM

I am buying a MSDN admin from a user and I am in need of a Escrow.

I will be securing (exporting the keys) before letting funds released to escrow to ensure recovery doesnt happen and I get my product

Trusted Escrow List: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
Private message anyone from the list (all of them are trusted) and he will get touch in with you. The list includes the escrow service fee.

Don't.You will be scammed. It would be better if you reveal who are you buying the account from.90% of them are scam around the forum.
That's why he is looking for an escrow. Escrow = safe trade.
6374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funding a movie with Bitcoin possible? on: July 14, 2017, 07:12:32 AM
It is possible. But before running around and asking for funds to need to show something to the investors like story line and other stuffs. No one is going to invest on empty vessels. They need guarantee and security of their investments. Also make sure your crews are fine with getting paid in bitcoin or ether.
6375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: July 13, 2017, 09:51:39 PM
Only reason to hold is to make profit which cannot be assured. If you sell, you end up with a loss. Just hold and hope that it rises back up again. If you invested on legit coins(not shitty scam coins / pump-dump coins) with a strong and active devs, the price is likely to go up back again.
Right now alt coins are in downtrend. Maybe invest now?

6378  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is the best bitcoin web wallet? on: July 13, 2017, 05:07:26 PM
None of the online web wallets are safe. Use offline/desktop wallet to store your coins. Backup your wallet regularly. Try using core wallet or you what a light wallet you can try electrum.

which bitcoin web wallet lets you transfer bitcoins to a bank account?
You should transfer your coins to an exchange and then transfer it to your bank account. Try coinbase.
6379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does 'Pump and Dump' means in crypto trading ? on: July 13, 2017, 02:39:41 PM
Pump is the stage where we will see dramatic rise of price of a coin which is made artificially(manipulated)  by users who will then try to profit. They start buying those coins in huge amount causing the price to increase dramatically. They start creating a fuzz about the coin and other users starts joining the hype train which in turn causes the price to rise more. Then comes the dumping stage where the main players starts to sell their coins thus the price goings down. Other users also panics and ends up selling their coins which results in further crash.
6380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i get my bitcoin back? on: July 13, 2017, 02:26:28 PM
Like others said, its gone forever. Sadly you can not recover it anymore  Sad
But hey! At least you/he learned a lesson. Next time you have bitcoins stored, make sure to make a backup (remind your friends too Wink ). A good lesson learned by sacrificing some coins Smiley
