6381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The 10 Oldest Altcoins on: July 12, 2017, 08:25:23 PM
Which 10 Altcoins are the oldest?
Currently I can think of Litecoin (2011), Namecoin(2011), Peercoin (2012),  Ripple (2013), GridCoin (2013) and Dogecoin (2013).
All of them are active till now.  Smiley

6383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can u turn 25$ to 5000$ in 6 months trading cryptos? on: July 12, 2017, 06:20:57 PM
Not impossible but hard to execute. You have to be very careful with your small investment. Any early loss will take to back ages.
You will need to be making a stable profit at first, before you can take higher risks. Higher risks = more profit.
@cryptme gave some tips you could follow.
6384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling percentage of the crypto-economy? on: July 12, 2017, 06:13:11 PM
Hello,

Don't know if this is the right forum, but what is the gambling percenatge of the total crypto-economies?  I read in some ICO document, maybe it was Betkings that it was 60%. I read 15% somewhere else.

Anyone know an accurate number and statistical source?

You should be more specific. What do you mean by gambling percentage of total crypto-economies? Don't think any accurate statistic has been made yet. So it's actually hard to tell.
6385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: July 11, 2017, 07:39:56 PM
Just use the wallet developed by the main team/developer of the coin. No other wallet is as safe as the main wallet. You don't have full security of your coins on other third party wallets. But if you still want to use a wallet you can try exodus. Others recommending Jaxx - I won't. Have heard a lot of negative reviews about them.
6386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 11, 2017, 07:27:19 PM
Try selling you skills. Tell the person who hires you that you prefer getting paid in bitcoin other than any other way.  Or do some micro tasks. You won't be earning much though. Or why not consider buying bitcoin. It's a form of investment and you might make some profit.
6387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared to hold until August 1? on: July 11, 2017, 03:21:33 PM
Yes I am pretty much scared about august 1st. I can't imagine or I'm not believing what just happened today. The price literally dropped to 2300 dollars that is 500 dollar plus drop in price of bitcoin in one day and this is what the effect of segwit stuff. Don't even know wha the august 1st will bring to us. I'm very much confused about holding of my bitcoins.
If it goes down to 2300 USD, how come it be a 500 USD drop? Haven't seen price the price being above 2700 USD in a week.
Was around ~2500 USD. So its like 200 USD drop in a day  not 500 USD.
6388  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Adding you in skype for a job offer (is it safe or not??) on: July 10, 2017, 08:24:27 PM
You are safe as long as you do not provide any vital information or download anything suspicious given by him. If you are uncomfortable with  video chatting with him,let him know. I don't think he needs to see your face just to give you a job online.  Just be safe and if you think there is something fish, just back out.
6389  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamble sites on: July 10, 2017, 05:37:23 PM
I would prefer Nitrogensport.eu.
They have here for a long time and I did play there before. Was a pleasant experience. You should give it a try.
Here is the ANN thread if you need more info https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355081.0
6390  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 9 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest Crowdfunded Casino on: July 10, 2017, 01:26:59 PM
New feature: Free lotto ticket for random chatter on international channel every few hours.
That's a nice feature for users using international chat!
I know playmoney is not really useless, more over if some of them really have time to keep on claiming it. But I just said on my condition here, I do not really like to play using some faucet because I do not really have any time to gamble a lot. So instead of claiming faucet, it is better to gamble it use your own money so if it is profit I just can spend more on other things Smiley
You are just talking nonsense.
I smell spam
6391  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceMax.com || Jackpot || 0.99% House Edge || Instant Withdrawal on: July 10, 2017, 01:05:46 PM
Basically it is not their first giveaway, I think they have given away bigger amount than this wagering contest for free. The latest giveaway was 0.002 for 50 players, so it was 0.1btc in total. Just curious why they could spend 0.1 for 100% free giveaway but they only offer less than 0.02 for wagering contest.
Currently a new site with low player base and less wager. So reaching the top leader board is not going to be "very" competitive, hence the low reward makes sense. Secondly, they are completely new and has given away more twice.
6392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to the bitcoin on: July 08, 2017, 08:51:29 AM
actually, this is not within the reach of the bitcoin me because it is expensive
You can buy fraction of bitcoins. You don't need to own a whole bitcoin. But if you are talking about investing and making profit, then that's a different story.
Please let me know that ONCCOIN to buy or risk taking?
Just googled ONECOIN. Its a shitty scammy coin based on ponzie. Try googling for yourself. You will know what I am saying.

6393  Economy / Economics / Re: Probability of Bitcoin split on: July 08, 2017, 08:43:55 AM
That's not possible at all. It may lose some value and dump to even $2000. But more than that... Will not going to happen.
Any bigger dump would be miracle

I'm afraid that you fall victim to your "gut feeling", if I can say that

But it deceives you more often than not, and even if it doesn't, when it does the consequences might be devastating. Basically, you see Bitcoin hovering over 2,000 dollars per coin for a month and come to think that these prices are there to stay forever. This is a dangerous assumption. If the split happens and both (or more) chains have more or less equal support, a dumping war will inevitably start with each party trying to bring down the competitor (read drive their prices into the ground)
Wow, haven't thought about it this way! You seem to be more logical, "the dump war", to bring down each competitor to its ground.
Still confused about what to do. I am starting to sell a portion of my coins, while saving some to see what happens "if" a chain split occurs  Undecided
6394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 08, 2017, 08:35:40 AM
Alt coins does have a future. Different(most of them) alt coins have different features, that is what makes them unique and different from bitcoin. Bitcoin is still on the top since it was the first crypto to be made. There aren't major difference though but you know LTC and BTC are like silvers to golds. Both gold and silver has value and co exists.
6395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why all the coins prices are dropping? on: July 07, 2017, 06:35:26 PM
Cause people and whales are now dumping and making profit from their investments?
Happens all the time. Nothing new about this in the crypto world. You have been here in the forum for a long time and you should know all these basic stuffs.
6396  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: {DiceMax.com} || Rain is Coming || Free 0.002 BTC on: July 07, 2017, 06:17:22 PM
Already stated what I liked on a Dice sites on the previous giveaway.
But some features that could be added on dice max are more flexible options on the automated betting system. Like after reaching a fixed amount of profit the betting will stop automatically. A better user interface also would be good thing here.
6397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to the bitcoin on: July 07, 2017, 02:42:08 PM
bitcoin is not in my reach as it is expensive
You don't have to buy one whole bitcoin. You can start by buying low/fraction amount of bitcoin. Still has a value of it self. Try buying some bitcoins and try investing on some other alt coins. Haven't heard of the coin you are talking about, but you can go with LTC or Doge coin if you want.
6398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a bitcoin wallet ? on: July 07, 2017, 10:23:53 AM
Creating a wallet won't cost you anything. But if you are trying to store a huge amount of coins, consider buying a hardware wallet, which aren't much expensive, yet it's worth buying.
If its just for storing smaller amount just download a desktop wallet, you might prefer electrum which is a light wallet and easy to use.
You can try online wallets, but they are not totally safe. Use it on your own risk. Don't be strong large amount of coins!
6399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A big food delivery service is accepting Bitcoin in Germany on: July 07, 2017, 10:19:21 AM

A big German food delivery service (Lieferando/Takeaway.com) is now accepting Bitcoin in Germany!
It's a huge thing for Germany, they do not have a lot of stores accepting Bitcoin.
Of course it's a little bit of a marketing thing for Lieferando, but who cares.

What do you think? Germany to accept Bitcoin step by step would be great!

A good news for the crypto community. More business/companies/industries starting to accept bitcoins means more publicity of crypto currencies. In fact its going to help them publicize themselves too! They might see some hike in their orders for a while  Wink
