Which is the proper way of doing things, I also don't understand how is it logical to compare a gear which you can get in 4-7 days to a gear that will only ship in late November and will probably only be received in December.

if you can get a T17 now for 1145$ then there is no math needed, go for it, but if you have to wait till December, a gear like the one in review will be at your door step in just a couple of days, and you will have at least 65 days lead , that is almost 750$ of profit ( before the power bill) , also all bitmain gears are sold out at the moment, so the earliest batch will probably be next year January.  

The math is really simple here, and it all depends on how much do you have to pay for the gear, I personally don't like per-orders of any kind, I base my business plans on the current situation and don't like to have my BTC sitting in a manufacturer wallet for 3-5 months to get the gear, I either pay more now or just hold BTC, but it's different for everyone.

كما اشار الاخ خالد , الموضوع يعتمد كليا على نوع كرت الشاشة الموجود بجهاز الكومبيوتر الخاص بك , ان كان من شركة AMD يجب ان يكون من موديل rx470 او اي موديل احدث منه , وان كان من Nvidia يجب ان يكون من موديل Gtx 1060 او احدث , اي شي اقدم من هده الموديلات لن يجني اي ارباح تذكر.

كروت الشاشة بالمجل تختلف عن بعضها البعض , البضع مقل 2080ti دخل يصل لي دولار واحد يوميا , البعض الاخرلا يدخل حتى 10 سنت يوميا, بالمجمل التعدين بكروت الشاشة مكسبه بسيط جدا وليس من المنطق الاعتماد على كرت واحد للدخل , والموضوع الاخر هوا ان اكبر عملة تعدن من قبل كروت الشاشة هي عملة ايتيريوم , فعند اخنفاض سعرها المكسب العام للتعدين بكروت الشاشة ينخفض , والعكس صحيح طبعا.

الملاحظة الاخرى هي التعدين بكرت شاشة موجود داخل لابتوب هوا امر تقنيا خاطئ لان التبريد لن يكون مثاليا ويمكن ان يعطل كرت الشاشة بسرعة , الطريقة الافضل للتعدين هو باستخدام كروت شاشة دسكتون في open-setup بحيت يتحصلو على تهؤية جيدة لانه سيشتغلون 24 ساعة في اليوم.

This is exactly what happened, the mistake was made due to wrong internal wiring colors, I hope this point is clear, if not I can explain more, probably with pictures.


So far so good, I checked the wires, they are not hot, just a bit warm, but normal , amperage is almost the same on all 3 different phases, voltage is regulated by the voltage regulators, everything seems to be working perfectly so far.



It depends on your attitude and relationship with the guys in charge, if you are an asshole, they might keep you waiting for days, maybe even weeks, they can simply say " We sent your information to the technician, he will contact you soon" and  "soon" might be weeks, in my case , if it's day time , especially in the morning, they will come in 30 mins or so if they are not doing something else very important, I treat them very nicely ( I am a nice person anyway   ) but really I try to keep these guys happy, I get them food, cold drinks and make sure they leave the place with a big a smile on their face so that next time I call , they will come to solve my issue right away.

After this problem happened, I realized how important relationship with these guys is, I now have the guy personal phone number, he said I could call him directly if the company took more than an hour or two to send him or someone else , so long story short, be nice to those guys if you want VIP service.

The past 7 days look pretty different tho, Newbies and Brand New Members had 22787 posts in total , and that is 3374 more posts than those of Sr , Hero and Legendary members combined.


The results you got in the 24 could be due to the reason that most newbies probably have more than just one account, so when 500 newbies take a break for a few hours, thousands of accounts go to sleep  

This of course does not mean that many higher rank members don't actually post whole lots of useless spam especially in the mega threads, but I doubt they will be able to beat the newbies yet , probably never.

الامر بسيط جدا , ان ركزت في الصورة الاخيرة ستجد  كلمة Ethhash 30.mh مما يعني ان كرت الشاشة فعلا بداء بالتعدين بقوة 30 ميقا هاش , وفي الصورة التي قبلها يمكن ان ترا Worker 1 مما يعني ان لديك عدد 1 قناة تعدين , طبعا Worker يعني عدد الاجهزة الموجهة لحوض التعدين ولا تعني عدد كروت الشاشة , يعني يمكن ان يكون لديك 100 كرت شاشة بنفس الاسم , ويظهر على انهم Worker واحد, ولمعرفة كم كرت شاشة لذيك , يمكن الاطلاع على ثالث الصورة من تحت , تجد فيها عدد GPU.

وللتاكد من الهاش ريت يجب عليك زياردة حوض التعدين Mining Pool التي قمت بادخال اعداداته في برنامج Hiveos ثم تضع عنوان محفظة الايتيريوم الخاص بك وسيظهر لك الهاش ريت الفعلي , حاول ان تعطي بعض الوقت لانه الارقام تحتاج لساعة او اكتر لتكون دقيقة.

These numbers are not bad to be honest, the T3 50th goes for 2000$ in china from resellers, the T17-40th on the other hand goes for about 1800$ , the latter does about 58 watts a TH.

T3  = 40$
T17= 45$

40th*5$ = T17 is 200$ more expensive

assuming power cost is 6 cents per kw:

40TH on the T3 cost  =   3.91 $ / day
40TH on the T17 cost=   3.34 $ /day

a difference of  0.57$ a day , so to ROI that 200$ price difference in gears price we do the following

200/0.57 =  350 days almost a whole year

let's see how it stands against S17-53 th which goes for 3500$ in china, it does 45w per th

T3= 40$
S17 =66$

difference in 50th = 1300$
assuming power cost is 6 cents per kw:

50TH on the T3 cost  =  4.89 $ / day
50TH on the S17 cost=   3.23 $ /day

a difference of  1.66$ a day , so to ROI that 1300$ price difference in gears price we do the following

1300/1.66 = 783 days or 26 months !!

Honestly, with the numbers ,it makes every sense to get the T3 50th for 2000$ than getting any other gear from bitmain.

These numbers are based on the average price of "buy now" from Chinese resllers, buying the gears directly from the manufacturer will be a lot of different, but the waiting time will be different too.

Nothing changed after what?? I do not understand how do you expect to get help without providing a minimum required details for us to help you solve the issue, it's not that members here charge anything for solving these technical issues, but for god's sake, provide the information we requested or lock this topic.

Without these information, all these long shots will not really solve anything.

A couple of S9s would have fit on that 10 guage cable, with free power you could have roied the mining gears as well as pay rent or some of it, unfortunately it is unlikely that you are ever going to have such a free power source anymore.

Myself on the other hand still have access to good amount of free power, i make sure I fully utilize it before a new government comes in and decide to charge a lot for power, i don't see that happening anytime soon but I am always prepared for such a thing to happen , and that is one of the reasons why I always buy gears that have a maximum of 6 months Roi in the worst case, tho the average is 3-5 months and thankfully I have already roied more than 80% of all gears I ever bought, except for some unfortunate D3 that I had to throw away at about 70% roi.

اعتقد ان معظم الاعضاء الجدد لا يفهون كيفية عمل نقاط الجدارة...لا يوجد مساواة في نقاط الجدارة ولكن يوجد نوع من العدل...الاشخاص الذين يتحصلون على نقاط جدارة بكثرة هم اعضاء يستحقون ذلك.. فلا مجال للاعضاء الذين ينشرون اي كلام.

بعض للاقسام التي هي قيد التطوير مثل القسم العربي..الاعضاء اصحاب الرتب الضعيفة بتحصلون على نقاط جدارة بسهولة مقارنة بالاقسام الاخرى.. يجب عليكم اقتناء الفرصة للتطوير حسابتكم الان فعندما يخرج القسم العربي من طول التطوير ويصبح هناك مئات الاعضاء سيصبح كسب نقاط الجدارة اصعب بكثير.

اعتقد انك فهمت لم تفهم القصة , في الواقع الموقع لا يتحوي اي اعلانات , ولكن تلك الازرار قد تظهر في الوهية الاولى انها اعلانات ولكن في الحقيقة تلك عبارة عن روابط للاقسام الفرعية للموقع , لا اعرف من اين اتيت فكرة انها " احد الخطط لزيادة الظغط على الاعلانات" ارجو ان توضح لنا المعنى من ورا هده الجملة.

على العموم ربما يجب عليك ان تزور الموقع وتظغط تلك الازرار لتفهم ماكنت اقصده عند قولي ان الازرار تشبه اعلانات قوقل , ولكن بالمجمل ان اراد اضافة اي اعلانات في المموقع اتمنى ان يأخد بنصيحتك وان يقوم بوضع الاعلانات بطريقة غير مزعجة والاهم من ذلك عدم خداع الزوار ووضع الاعلانات وراء شعارات وازرار اخرى.

Not really, this means most likely Chip number 52 is dead , but regardless, this board is as good as dead, depending on the firmware , but I would say most firmware versions by bitmain don't do well with boards that report anything below 63 chips on a single board.

The 3 images he posted look pretty normal,  2 miners with 2 hash boards, 1 miner with 2 good hash boards and 1 bad hash board, the problem is the part that says


What are the chances of 3 boards on 3 different miners , get toasted on the same exact day? op did you have any power issues? any chances the voltage has dropped? can you try different PSUs to confirm it's not a power issue? also please post the kernel log for each, use the code format when you post the Kernel log

Fan 6 does not mean the 6th fan, it simply means the fan connected to a socket which labeled 6 on the control board, if you look closely to where the connector goes into the control board, you will see the number written there, it's very small you need might have to use your phone camera and zoom-in if your eyes are not that good. 

Since you mentioned that the miner does run for a while and then it stops, this indicates the fans are not bad , they spin fast enough because if not then the miner wouldn't start mining at all, can you remove the grill on the fan and try again?

Did you manage to know where the hell did that 10gauge wire come from?? that is a bit strange, it goes to show how fucked up the set-up is , but that was almost 30 ago, I am sure things are not as bad today , are they?

I can tell you strange stories about my country too, sadly nobody would believe it , I see it with my own eyes and I can hardly believe it.

Not too long ago, maybe around 2000-2002 we went to spend the summer in my hometown, there was an issue with the power meter , it was not reading , so dad calls in and they sent someone to fix it, after he was done, the meter was spinning backwards, the number of kwh was decreasing and not increasing, my dad only noticed that a while later, he called again and said there is still an issue but he didn't tell them what happened exactly, he was afraid that technician would be fired or something, so they sent the same guy again, and he was like , oh i must have missed up the wiring, and he came without any tools, he told my dad , listen just leave it be I will come tomorrow to fix it , he came 2 weeks later , not only we enjoyed free power for 2 weeks, we got to unload a good chunk of the bill   , despite power being too cheap to the extent that people don't bother about turning off their ACs before going out, it was really funny to watch the meter go the opposite direction for 2 weeks.

الحالات التي تتلكم عندها نادرة جدا , وهيا في العادة تكون نظرا لتحايل بعض الاعضاء بفتح اكتر من حساب وتبادل نقاط الجدارة فيما بنيهم , ولكن هدا لا يعني انه لا يوجد اعضاء لديهم عدد بسيط من المنشورات ونقاط جدارة كثيرة, العبرة ليست في الكم بل في الجودة.

انت مثلا تحصلت على 7 نقاط جدارة من موضوعك هدا https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183192.msg52408380#msg52408380 , مما يعني انك ان قمت بنشر 3 مواضيع ممتازة ستحصل على 20 نقطة جدارة , طبعا يوجد عامل الحظ وهوا توفر النقاط الجدارة عند الاعضاء الاخرين وغيرها من العوامل , فلنقل انك ستحتاج لكتابة 10 مواضيع ومشاراكت لتتحصل على 20 نقطة جدارة ! كسب نقاط الجدارة ليس بالامر السهل ولكنه ليس بالامر الصعب , فالواقع هوا اقرب للسهل من الصعب, كل ماعليك هوا كتابة مواضيع وتعليقات مفيدة وفجاءة ستلاحظ نقاط الجدارة تنهال عليك.

في المسابقة الماضية تمكن الاخ خالد من جني حوالي 50 نقطة في فترة وجيزة اعتقد اقل من اسبوعين, انا شخصيا اتحصل احيانا على اكتر من 100 نقطة في الشهر! وانا لست محترف في اي مجال واعتبر نفسي عضو عادي جدا , لذلك كما قال لك ulven يجب ان تزيل هده الافكار من رائسك, يجب عليك ايضا ارسال نقاط الجدارة التي تمتلها في رصيدك فالاحتفاظ بها لا ينفع احد ولا حتى انت.
