I entered the game on January 10th and it's been two weeks, and all my coins are still in the bloody red  I wonder if there is some kind of estimated time frame of when my portfolio will be able to recover so I can be gaining at least a little bit of profit? Most of my alt coins are still down 50-70 dollars. I have a hard time understanding why it's still down so much!!  Patience. No one can accurately tell you when it will rebound. What you lost is nothing compared to some, consider yourself "lucky" and just wait. It will come.  The beauty of investing on coins you believe in is takes most of the worry away even on hard dip like these. Try it. |

I hold a small amount of many coins, because I tend to keep 5 or 10% when I sell an altcoin to lock in the profit.
I do the same...but keep 20%-50% on most as much as possible (most are pure profit too). There were a few I totally sold just because I lost confidence in them. |

I only hold a few altcoins that in my oppinion have the most potential to grow, unless you have more than 40k at least spreaded over altcoins in order to gain you are better off investing in maximum 3 of the best projects, spreading your portfolio is only good with big amounts of money, do not believe people claiming to spread your portfolio with less than 40k because you will not see a good amount of profit, rather invest in 3 altcoins with biggest potential and hodl it!

Wanchain is also a very good project and on the moment it hits on exchanges less than $3 is a very good buy.

Now I only have 3 which is XRP, TRX and ETH since most of my altcoin have been sold. I think it is better to cutloss for some coins that hasn't have the good probability of bouncing back, because unlike the current coins I am holding are struggling like never before.

Good luck! I basically do the same but with a bigger capital and with a lot more coins. I collect earnings from the winners plus the capital and re-invest to a new coin and just keep repeating it. I do leave enough coin in case it continues to grow...this is the reason why I have 35 or so coins The x100 is a bit lofty...even with luck, it will probably take you a few years. In 6 months, I got up to x7 but currently down to x4.5 (market dip). I am still extremely happy with this but do miss the x7 My ongoing personal challenge is to beat my portfolio ATH. I think it is more fun that way than setting a hard $$$ value. |

I don't think so. Tron has 3 billion market cap and 100 billion coins. It can go some but it can't go 100x it would be 300 billion that's just crazy, what would make it so special? Why is this coin 3 billion coin???
I agree. I collected my capital and some earnings, left 20k tokens to HODL but I am not hopeful for it to grow much more soon. Thankfully, I cashed out 100% a few weeks ago near ATH. |

Two of my friends tried to persuade me to buy VEN in the middle of December, but I did not listen. Now of course I regret, while buying early. I’ll have to wait for the correction and buy then. There are a few good new things ahead, so I will buy for sure.
It continues to climb even during the recent two (major) dips (check the charts). The dip you are waiting may not come and you might left behind further if you wait longer. |

I was a bit bored to I entered my ARK holdings in an excel worksheet to confirm if I am getting the projected 10% return from my delegate. To my surprise, I am actually getting an average of 12.69% return per annum (coin count wise). Since the added coins also earn coins, it has a compounding effect. Lastly, the coin value also appreciates so win-win-win!!!  |

Agreed...even when all coins are red, it is one of the few that remains green or last to turn red. Pretty strong support. I've been buying the dips and was actually hoping for it to dive more but no such opportunity. |

It seems I am the odd one...it fluctuates but on average I maintain around 35 coins. I have my reasons (right or wrong) and it works for me. Good profit/return is what matters to me (not what others say). |

I clearly bought in WAY too late, and had my fingers burned. Got nothing to lose now, so may as well hold. Hope they demonstrate a bit of walk this year, to back up all that talk.
Don't think so. I personally bailed out completely several weeks ago. Not sure about the FUD if true (seems like it) but the way I see it, there are better coins to invest in so why now just move it? I almost held some coins (pure profit left over) but was (thankfully) advised to move it. I made money on it so can't complain much. |
