I have only heard about the pool in passing but it sounds to me that the coinking pool operator is who you should be upset at because it sounds like their miners count on them to keep track of this stuff for them and they dropped the ball by not keeping track.  Suprnova on the other hand was aware of the swap and very helpful to users that were having problems.

Not trying to belittle your situation.  I do have sympathy for it.  I just don't know if there is anything you can do at this point and from my perspective the UCoin dev did a good job with the swap. Sorry  Sad

That would be frustrating to lose coins of course but how did you manage to ignore the two weeks of announcements leading up to the swap being complete?  It was announced on January 25th in the X15 thread and completed on Feb 4th.  It was a well managed swap compared to others I have been involved in.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [U] UCoin丨X11丨Web and mobile wallets丨USnake | More features on: February 06, 2015, 04:11:51 PM
The price is dirt cheap.
Nobody likes ICO and premine.  Sad

Cheap price is problem?

I can't understand...

One thing I notice is that there are only a couple hundred thousand UCoins for sale at any given time.  I think it is harder to get a fat stack of UCoin than people realize.

nah i mean it was like 10 minutes of work so don't sweat it.  I'm just happy to help

good call.  That should be "and will be distributed"

Honestly I have been able to understand almost everything you write but here I cleaned up your terms of service for your uwallet, everything pretty much already looked good except the top two lines

UWallet Terms of Service.

By using UWallet, you are agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions in this Agreement you may not use the UWallet.

The UWallet developers may modify this Agreement and any policies affecting the Site at any point of time. Such modification is effective immediately upon posting to the website and will be distribution via email, forum post and a link in chat. Your continued use of the UWallet following any modification to this Agreement shall be deemed an acceptance of all modifications.

The UWallet and it's developers are not responsible for any loss of coins which are stored in the UWallet.

You should just remove the huge ass graphics.  If it wasn't for them everything would be fairly readable.

The thing is, no one is going to troll through 20 pages of posts to figure out what we're up to.  They look at the OP and the last post, those giant graphics have to be there even if they make things clunky.  This is the google age, we all have 20 second attention spans and we want instant answers to our questions.

I hear you but I think it looks like trash with those big pictures in the middle of everything.  It would make more sense to give people a summary of everything in the OP and allow them to follow links to the graphics and details.  For example with the webshop in the OP you could just put:

UPDATE: DEMO WEBSHOP COMPLETE

This is a working demonstration of our altcoin payment processor.  This allows any altcoin project to sell products and services on any website.  We don't have it set up as a bootstrap installer yet, it was custom developed.  If a project would like to purchase this tech, we will have to log into a clean vps and configure it for them until we get an installer.  You can see how it works by purchasing one of the fake products on the demo site, just use a fake e-mail address and send 1 coin to the deposit address provided, and it will mail a receipt once we receive the coin.

Once again, we can configure this to work with any bitcoin-like coin daemon.  Once this is installed, people can use the same theme we did, or build a site on their own.  The price for this is 750 Euros (in 2015 coins) for a basic shop, any custom development will cost extra.

Then let people go check it out.  You could even link to the forum post with the graphic I guess. But putting a screenshot of a website on the front page does not look good or help people. My two cents.

I don't give a shit about the trust system or this forum for that matter. I just think it's funny to watch you try to defend your little operation.  It's hilarious.

Imagine...

An artist so prolific and skilled everyone should be able to recognize him immediately, yet he is afraid to say who he is...  Roll Eyes

A man who runs a wood carving business that makes lots of money and doesn't have time to waste, yet spends hours on the computer every day defending his reputation on a forum completely irrelevant to his trade.  Roll Eyes

I think YOU are the one that makes it too easy.

by the way those videos were fucking hilariously bad, you look like a child using a chisel for the first time.  I think you know exactly how shitty they were and I think that was part of the point.  I think you like to point out that it doesn't matter how obvious or stupid your scam is.  You are going to keep doing it no matter what and there is always going to be someone dumb enough to buy it.  It sucks that people like you exist but in the end it doesn't matter because the only people you are able to trick with your "art" are people that have deep pockets and no knowledge that they are getting ripped off.  Honestly anyone that bought that garbage deserved it.

this is really entertaining though so please continue.

Imagine......

There is no fear of saying who i am, it is just simply that i choose not to associate my RL identity with my bitcoin one. Which is now for pretty obvious reasons.

In the weeks since the charade of Nubbins and Co. started i have spent less than a dozen hours online.

Lastly, your opinions of some videos really hold no weight as far as i am concerned, i would be willing to bet that although you will probably try and argue it, you have never picked up a mallet and chisel in your entire life and tried to carve on a piece of birch. Therefore you have no idea what it should "look like"

Closing, this thread is not about me, although it seems i am quite famous now, and appreciate all the free marketing. This thread is about the faults in the default trust system. greatly demonstrated by CITM with his false 1,000BTC feedback, and nubbins by his lack of better judgment, and well by just about everyone else on the list.

lol. No.

tom petty was right.  the waiting IS the hardest part.

I'm definitely curious to know what dev has cooking.

edit:  *taps watch*  is this thing working?
575  Other / Meta / Re: Petition to get rid of the default trust system on: February 04, 2015, 11:36:27 PM
lol. yes it must be the trust system that is the problem.  Roll Eyes

but for reals the trust system on this site is great.  It points out his whole circle of jerks perfectly.

so dev now that swap is complete can you share some of the plans you have for UCoin?
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [U] UCoin丨X11丨Web and mobile wallets丨USnake | More features on: February 04, 2015, 08:03:23 PM
I am becoming ocminer's fan Smiley

On a separate topic: the web wallet design is very nice and clean. Looks and works great. Sometimes just I see few Chinese or Japanese (or maybe Korean??) symbols here and there Smiley, which leads me to a conclusion our dev is from one of those countries Smiley
You can make a screenshot displaying symbols? Also, I'm not from East Asia Smiley.

I checked it more carefully on different browsers (I am using many browsers on different devices.. Smiley ). The Chinese/Japanese symbols are displayed only on the Android 2.3 Samsung device on its native browser and Dolphin browser on the same device... All other browsers are showing either correct symbols, or no symbols at all. This was happening on the icons which you use on the web-wallet: "glyphicon" icons are displayed normally on all devices except that Android 2.3 device; "fa" icons (that is "Font Awesome" I guess), are displayed correctly on most browsers, but on some browsers (on Android 4.x) show just empty space (no icon).

In any case, this is not really serious issue. The Web Wallet is very nice as I said already, the only place which could be improved, is the "Help"->"Terms of Service". The text there is not really English.. Smiley. I can help to correct that if you want (just improve the wording), but English is not my native language too, so I can correct only to the best of my knowledge Smiley

Let me know if you need any further English help too.  It is my primary.

Windows wallet is crashed and wont open back up for me

getting this

1) Check time and date on you computer.
2) Delete folder UCoin(backup wallet.dat if required) in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming (most likely there were files from UCoinX15).

P.S.: This is UCoinX11 or UCoinX15 wallet?

It was the UCoinX11.  Deleting everything except wallet.dat fixed it.  thx
