You can use BiddingPond if you want to automate it.
1 BTC = 0.42 USD

Aren't this transfers against the ToS?

A quick question. Could you show some pseudocode of how you handle the bets? Does the acceptor plays any role in the odds? What are the odds of each individual ring?
564  Economy / Marketplace / Re: The Bitcoin Times on: January 24, 2011, 01:11:04 AM
Well, if we don't get the advertiser to submit the content soon we will have to release it with a pricetag of 1 BTC, again. I hope to have this published by tomorrow afternoon(PT) at latest.

Something to note is that they are also the country which is the nearest(or at least one of the nearest) to direct democracy. If people can see the value of Bitcoin it will be easier for the government to accept as the national currency.

Hey that is perfect! Now, don't expect too much Bitcoins though. AFAIK we only have one advertiser which provides a small 2 digit figure. :/
I will be talking with kiba and you about adverting and how much space there is for it. I was thinking about 1 footer and 1 headers only.

Could you quickly have an article for tomorrow?(17:15 right now)
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nenolod, the guy that wants to prove Bitcoin doesn't work. on: January 23, 2011, 07:17:43 PM
LOL! Why don't you let me list the pictures you have in your website? I am sure there are more awesome ones! Cheesy
568  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Cooperative mining (>10000Mhash/s, join us!) on: January 23, 2011, 06:39:40 PM
surpassed 20 GHashes/sec for a while now. Maybe you want to update the thread. Smiley
569  Economy / Marketplace / Re: The Bitcoin Times on: January 23, 2011, 05:07:42 PM
Yeah, I agree that S3053 could give an exclusive article for the magazine. The old way is scrapped and kiba got some advertisers to provide the magazine for free! As of the release it will probably be by tomorrow and on a weekly/bi-weekly basis thanks to kiba! Cheesy

I am still working on a review and if S3052 wants to join he is welcomed. Since the model change I will edit the OP.

I support the notion of having replays or uploaded it so I can watch it after school!
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin across the world on: January 21, 2011, 08:15:13 PM
Hey this is awesome. I am getting a lot of friends into Bitcoin here in Mexico. Tongue
Is there anyway to have stats shown such as the number of nodes in each country, nodes/capita ratio, etc?
572  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Cooperative mining (>10000Mhash/s, join us!) on: January 21, 2011, 04:31:06 AM
Hey, we just passed the 20 ghash/sec barrier! The network is increasing exponentially!

Also, the whole net is now near 150 ghashes/sec. An attack to the network now costs about half a million to a million of today's dollars.

574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: a bitcoin to equity black market on: January 20, 2011, 07:27:14 PM
Well, an IOU x share is enough. Building the Web of Trust would be hard for a market at this moment though. :/
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting massive acceptance of Bitcoin on: January 20, 2011, 07:21:04 PM
As a matter of fact it is possible using Public key crypto!

Handshake:
-Generate a key pair.(And keep track of all of them so they can't be reused)
-Hash the private key of both for the pseudo random generator and create the "random" deck.(Separate decks. Maybe cards are not going to be the ideal P2P betting game xD)
-Whoever has the digest of smallest value of their public key"A" draws a card first then "B". One by one hashing their signed card and communicating it to the other.(Which he won't be able to interpret at this point, though, he can validate it later on)
-Play whatever betting game you wish. Smiley
-Validate the other didn't cheat(He gives you the signed cards he draw and you compare them to the hashes.

Hopefully I word it correctly. You got the basic idea.
