561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Awareness needed, 100$ or Bitcoin??? on: March 17, 2023, 12:25:37 PM
and also why ask KIDS ? why not mature people ? maybe they will at least have second thought on what to choose.

Mature people are more likely to have heard at least a little bit about Bitcoin to know it's probably worth more than $100. And if they didn't know, they'd probably make some level-headed response (e.g. "I'm not sure what Bitcoin is so I'll take $100"), which wouldn't be as entertaining as two ignorant teenage girls.

And as posted above, it might have taken a while for that guy to find anyone choosing $100 over 1bitcoin.
I also heard that they have also heard about bitcoin before, but they don't know anything other than that. However, the introduction of bitcoin is now widespread, and most people already know what the real price is but probably don't know how to use it. However, education is still needed to make people like that realize how valuable bitcoin is today.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and Rich on: March 17, 2023, 08:15:30 AM
We all know the quote "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" I heard this quote when I was in high school now I'm grown up. I always wondering why?

Is it that the rich have already wealth the day they are born? Have savings and investment?

While the poor doesn't have any of those?

The point is I started in low before having some savings and investment. I'm not saying I'm already rich but I can say that I'm better than before. Can you guys share your ideas with this topic.
almost people are born in the same circumstances, but in terms of family economy, it is different. the quote appears because people who are born into rich families, have a good economy to encourage them to become richer. such as continuing the family business, going to school to get a high degree, access to more information, and so on. whereas people born into poor families do not have much economic support, for example, they do not have access to find information about crypto, and many more. however, actually, it depends on the condition of each person. in fact, if he was born into a rich family, if he was lazy, then his future could turn out to be bad. vice versa.
However, what you're doing is good. you just have to keep trying to get what you want because it can change your life for the better.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanging large amounts of BTC for FIAT on: March 16, 2023, 12:30:41 PM
So far, I've never had a problem using binance, and I think it's one of the most reliable exchanges out there right now. your friend just needs to do KY and try to exchange the assets he has. If you feel that binance is not trusted, you can help your friend by sending him fiat and he sends you the bitcoin he has. Also, he might be able to split the assets he has into parts to send to Binance to try to withdraw from there.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2023, 08:37:07 AM
As far as I know, fiat will still be associated with banks, because fiat from a country has value and is printed from banks. So, if you want to buy bitcoins without the help of fiat from a bank, then it will be difficult. unless, you do P2P or make transactions directly, and do it with a barter system like exchanging valuables for bitcoins, like gold, cars, houses, or other things.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 16, 2023, 05:35:34 AM
The problem is that most of the bounty managers end up getting paid in stablecoins, which is a proof that even the manager doesn't believe in the project, and why would they? They do not have to work that much for something that may not even have any value in the end and I get it. But, expecting bounty hunters to work for something that you created on your living room while having some fun, while the team and bounty managers all expecting to get paid in stablecoins, is not really a good idea at all.

Investors would have to pay with coins that actually have real value to get the token, so that the team gets stablecoins or something, and bounty managers too, while hunters will get paid in useless and worthless tokens.
if we look at the negative side of this, then if the project fails, the biggest losers will be the investors, and after that the bounty hunters. because the project team and manager have been getting paid their money's worth. However, that can turn into a huge advantage when the project team is actually working on their project. In my experience, a few years ago there were quite a lot of projects that paid using tokens. They got big profits, especially for investors and bounty hunters. Because of the success of this, there are currently many projects that do the same thing. however, sometimes the quality of the project is very poor. However, as a bounty hunter, I wish the best for the projects I support. besides that, bounty managers always say that they don't force anyone to join or invest in the projects they present. it all depends on our decisions. But, personally I also hope that future bounties will pay out in stable coins or coins that are already on the market like ethereum or bnb. it might benefit all parties, it's just that the project team must have more funds for advertising.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you Think might aid the global adoption of Bitcoin? on: March 15, 2023, 09:55:54 AM
I think one of the main goals of bitcoin is to serve as a means of payment. However, this is also one of the reasons why bitcoin is difficult to accept in some countries. that's because bitcoin can suppress the use of fiat. this is because bitcoin has many benefits compared to fiat. however, the government tries to reject bitcoin as legal tender because it sees the negative side or risks such as its very volatile price, and so on. Moreover, due to the purely decentralized bitcoin system, it makes it very difficult for the government to take taxes from it. So, I think bitcoin's journey to being accepted as a payment alternative is still quite a long way off. However, I see that many businesses are currently accepting bitcoin as a payment alternative, this is specifically for bitcoin users, and the risk is borne by the business owner. sooner or later, people will get used to it and accept it.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 15, 2023, 08:42:15 AM
first, congrats on the birth of your baby, and I hope he is healthy and becomes a dutiful child to his parents, family, and those around him in the future.
It's a good decision to hold bitcoins for a very long period of time. all you need to do after that is store those private keys as best you can. because one of the hurdles in holding bitcoin long-term is its private keys. other than that, you might be able to add to those assets little by little. I think the risk of the investment you make is not big. besides that, the potential is also good. This can be very useful for your child when he grows up, and the bitcoin price has become very high. it would be a very useful gift for him.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: March 15, 2023, 06:30:57 AM
It seems that the trend nowadays is on exchanges, coins, and stablecoins. Last year we had LUNA and its stable coin and then followed by FTX and its own coin. This year we should be more careful in investing a big portion of our portfolio in these types of coins. BNB is still part of my 20sh list of coins that I want to accumulate but I will drop it lower than 10%, it could be 5% of my portfolio. The focus should be more on bitcoin which remained intact over the years. 50% or more of my portfolio will be on bitcoin.
well, i agree that it would be great if we just focus on bitcoin only. because since the fall of LUNA and FTX, many people have become skeptical of similar altcoins. It's just that, I still think that BNB is an asset that deserves to be reckoned with. buy it now, or later it still has enormous potential. I still firmly believe that Binance is still a professional company that will survive. we know that CZ has solved a lot of problems that Binance is facing, as well as solving a lot of issues. However, if you are still unsure about it, then bitcoin is the most appropriate choice.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when people tells their story on bitcoin on: March 14, 2023, 06:34:51 PM
Well, we should rejoice at the accomplishments that have been made by people who have amazing stories about bitcoin. if I read someone's story about bitcoin, what's more, it's an extraordinary story, then I will make that my motivation to achieve the same achievement, or even more. If I had a chance like them, I probably wouldn't be as good as them, but I'll try my best. I have heard many success stories about trading, or businesses involving bitcoin. well, I'm just taking lessons from that, and trying to do the same thing if I were in a similar position.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 14, 2023, 03:06:59 PM

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrencies. If we only focus on altcoins, ETH is the most successful smart contract platform that owns the largest base of fans compared to other altcoins. The current market cap of Ethereum is over $200 Billions and the this will be more likely to increase in the long term. Can ETH be considered as the King of Altcoins ? What do you think ? Please let me know.
it's not wrong to think this way, because for now, the best altcoin still belongs to ethereum. this proves that ethereum's position is still number two in CMC or CG. having a second place in that place means having a lot of advantages. So, if this is the throne, then ethereum can be called the king of altcoins for now. However, that does not mean that the king of altcoins cannot be replaced. this is the throne up for grabs. I remember that XRP also beat Ethereum on CMC. however, it was not for long. well, this is a contested throne and can change at any time. however, for now, ethereum can be called the king of altcoins.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust in cryptocurrency? on: March 14, 2023, 09:00:37 AM
as long as cryptocurrency is still being developed, sooner or later, crypto will become one of the aspects that complement our lives. from the research you did, it was stated that younger people know about cryptocurrencies, while older people don't. that is a fair thing. in my place, there are still very many parents who don't really understand using android. that's because the technological age in which they develop is different from ours, even though there are still quite a lot of parents who follow developments regarding technology and know about cryptocurrency because they tend to be interested in it. In my place, even almost adults know about bitcoin, although they still don't really understand what bitcoin is. however, if this technological development continues, then crypto will become a part of our lives, and I am sure of that.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 13, 2023, 06:50:47 PM
In this case, you are not wrong in any way. to lend something to someone else, or even your family, you need to know the person, or the person needs to have collateral. in your case, you know the person, and the person has an untrustworthy streak. if you lend money that you have, you have to take the risk that the money will never be returned, and in the end, you will get two conditions where your condition will be awkward because he doesn't repay his loan to you, and your money won't come back.
The advice I have is, if he is really important to you, then get him a job that can pay off his loans little by little. You also need to convince him that the money you have is still being used for something important. after all, he can't force you to lend him your money either.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which cryptocurrency do you prefer the most to accept payments in? on: March 13, 2023, 04:11:42 PM
If it was a generalized cryptocurrency question then I would always choose to have my payment in Bitcoin and definitely if bitcoin wasn’t in the option I would then prefer stable coins.

If this question was only meant for Altcoin alone then I have no other choice than to go with Ethereum. I am a type of investor that tries to minimize my risk that why I go for the best option rather than gamble.
bitcoin and ethereum are the first coins to be chosen as a payment alternative for a business, and stable coins, sometimes using USDT. Personally, I would also only pick those coins at the businesses I own. that's because bitcoin and ethereum are coins that are very popular and trusted. while USDT is the most widely used stable coin today. in fact, many threads are trying to accept bitcoins in their business. I think there will be very many people who choose bitcoin in this case.
574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experience about trading in btc on: March 13, 2023, 12:23:15 PM
most people trade or use bitcoin to buy a house. however, you sold it instead. Home is an investment whose value can also increase in the future. if you lose it to buy bitcoins, how can you hold bitcoins when the price has fallen. I think selling a house to invest is not something that is wise and exemplary.
this is not a decision where one would say "take risks for greater gains". Well, but it doesn't matter if you have lots of houses and lots of money.

576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how exchanges list news crypto tokens on: March 08, 2023, 03:00:13 AM
as far as I know, almost every exchange has different rules regarding listing new tokens on their exchange. maybe you will find easy to difficult rules. however, you may have to prepare some legality documents, community, and also a fee for listing. as far as I know, each payment for the list is also different. depending on the exchange, the better the exchange you target, the more expensive and the more documents you need to fulfill.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 07, 2023, 05:11:26 AM
Well, I've been in the same position as that. However, I thought that there was no other way and I had to sell my assets due to circumstances. it might happen in 2020. but i really want to hold it.
This condition actually teaches us that saving emergency money is also very necessary. for example, we put 30% of our salary or the income we have for investment, while another 30% for emergency funds, and the rest for savings and living necessities. although it is an easy strategy to understand, very many people find it difficult to do, especially people who are saving money, or investing. other than that, it would be very good if we are committed to investing until our goals are achieved, and look for other alternatives to cover our urgent needs.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 07, 2023, 03:32:16 AM
I think that most of the participants always sell the tokens immediately received as soon as such an opportunity arises, because they want to make a profit here and now,and only a few who believe in the project, if it is really good, then they store the tokens as long as possible in order to get more profit later.
I have some friends who have sold 12, 10, 16 dollar equivalent tokens for 800 dollars and more. But we also have to admit that nowadays such projects are one in a thousand or a hundred. Now most of the project are scamming and at the end of the day the holding tokens value were became zero.  So I could not see the bounty hunters as wrong that they are selling tokens as soon as they get them, as it is there payment for service. But even if it is less, but wise hunters sell by observing the strength or stand of the project before selling
I think this is the correct opinion. there's nothing wrong with bounty hunters immediately selling the tokens they get, and this should be taken into account by Devs before making the decision to advertise their project through bounties and pay using the tokens they create. because of that, many devs are paying using stablecoins. it's just that, if I've noticed, most of the newly developed projects will pay bounty hunters with their tokens, not with a stable of coins. it aims to increase the number of users. however, a side effect of that was mass selling. Therefore, devs must really consider the behavior of bounty hunters.
In addition, not all bounty hunters will sell the tokens they get. they will definitely make observations and research whether the token is worth holding or not. so, the choice is with the dev. Both types of payment have their advantages and disadvantages.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: March 06, 2023, 09:15:45 AM
Education is a very important thing taught from an early age. Bitcoin is a form of technological development, and it needs to be taught to children. however, we need to explain thoroughly, so they can learn about the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin or cryptocurrency. it will not stress them out just because of studying. after all, it's just like we teach them other investments. every investment has a profit in it, but there is also a risk to it.
However, this also applies to older people. maybe you see that it is wrong to invest all their retirees into bitcoin because of the risk. however, that decision was made due to the explanation he heard. so it all depends on how we explain it. we must explain the benefits as well as the risks.
is this a must? yes, this should be explained to kids or old people who want to invest. there is no age limit for it. however, we need to explain thoroughly, not just an explanation of the benefits.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: March 06, 2023, 07:50:44 AM
Unfortunately the times when you could earn a fortune by participating in bounty campaigns are gone forever. Personally, I currently only participate in signature campaigns and occasionally do translations. I also try to choose campaigns that offer remuneration in stablecoins or cryptocurrencies recognized on the market, such as BTC, ETH or BNB. Then I know in advance for how much I work and whether this rate suits me.
choosing a bounty that pays using stable coins or even coins that are already on the market like bitcoin, Ethereum, and others is a very good decision to ensure that we will really be paid. however, we need to ensure that the payment assets use escrow and that the escrow chosen is a trusted escrow. for example, such as bounties managed by BountyDetective. they always use escrow for payments and are also trusted.
However, there are still a lot of bounties that have not paid their participants to date. choosing a bounty with the escrow and paying with a popular stablecoin or crypto is the best way to avoid bounties that don't pay.
