2000 BTC!} on: July 30, 2017, 07:42:38 PM

Shadow Era TCG on: July 30, 2017, 07:14:09 PM

I'am new to zcash mining.

I've got 325 Mh/s / Sol/s with one R9 290 and less power consumption compared to ETH Mining. Good?

That is reasonable hash rate for 290.

Mh/s or H/s?

It will be H/s.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080 Ti mining OC and power? on: July 06, 2017, 09:07:15 AM
Today you will not get more then 5$ or less... it was only a week or so 10+

Yep...mining is constantly changing Sad

A 1080 ti is now ~$6  day
And a 480/580 is ~$3 or so

But...you can still buy 1080 ti's at the moment and the 480/580 shortage continues

The 1080Ti is more than double the price of 480. But you can buy them.

Here they come

The cards do not have video output. Does it mean it has to to at least one card with video out?
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Last month more GPUs went online than entire combined GPUs during Litecoin days on: June 11, 2017, 08:17:36 PM

So as much as its fun to ROI your GPU in less than 1 month, I am wondering whats going to happened when the bubble bursts.

10x the gear is fully justified.  should be 15x the gear.

the market cap for alt coins is more the 30 billion dollars back in the day ltc was around 2 billion  so we are at least ⅔ of what we would need to be to match the ltc bubble.  which popped due to asic 's coming in and off book mining by zen josh gaw criminals.

I think we are good for a few months at least.

I don't expect the pricing to burst soon - the movement of capitol into Crypto, coupled with increasing PUBLIC acceptance, seems likely to keep prices up for a while.

I expect the PROFITABILITY bubble to burst when ETH goes mostly POS - but that's end of year at the earliest, and probably somewhat longer even if they DON'T have any more delays.

I think the phasein of the PoS will take many years. So the mining profitability will just reduce slowly.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Last month more GPUs went online than entire combined GPUs during Litecoin days on: May 23, 2017, 06:18:49 PM
do you think they will actvate pos but keep the pow phase? would be better for other altcoin profit, the nethahs of ethereum would not reverse on other altcoin, but i see no news about this possibility just rumors, also i don't the reaosn behind going pur epos is because they fear asic that is just what you believe

Initially, there will be PoW+PoS, then more PoS over the years.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080 Ti mining OC and power? on: May 21, 2017, 08:33:01 AM
Does GPU mining is profitable?

If the price of the altcoin remains high, it is very profitable.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: May 09, 2017, 06:09:20 AM
Hi, can somebody give me a hint where to find solutions for these problems,

Upgrated to win7 to 10 because i coulnd“t get 6->7gpu work. With win7 mining rig where rock solid with intensity 5

And there were no hardware changes, Only adding 1 gpu more, All gpu“s are 280x
drivers 15.12

Win 10 is in no way shape or form an "upgrade" for a mining rig.

I only use the Win 8.1
573  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: April 12, 2017, 12:21:41 PM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
It's very easy if you will dedicated yourself to work fulltime in bitcoin, for me the first way is signature campaign and then the trading because I think almost all of bitcoin user are go to trading and that is good way to make money but sometimes there's a loss in trading.

The bitcoin economy is still too small. I think most of us cannot work for it full time.

where to download sgminer-gm-v5.5.5-8?

NICEHASH MODIFIED SGMINER-GM--

The version you want is a NiceHash modification of the open-source SGminer-GM.  You will find it with the other NiceHash softwares, just look a he NiceHash website.       --scryptr

Do you mean https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/releases

I only saw 5.5.0a, sgminer v5.6.0, not the sgminer-gm-v5.5.5-8

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=sgminer-gm+nicehash

This version v5.5.5-8 works well with Nicehash.

Previous versions have this awful issue with high or 100% rejects.

ri 1008 w 8.... seems to be best settings.

Run sgminer in Linux for best performance and stability

What is the required driver version? I tried that with the 15.12 or 16.9.2 for my R9 390, it does not work. It just showed the first two lines of commands.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.3 (Windows/Linux) on: March 16, 2017, 02:46:39 PM
links to mod bios please...have two 7950's one I can lower voltage ...one I cannot.

You can use the VBE7.0.0.7b.exe to change the voltage.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: February 28, 2017, 06:13:30 PM
You don't get the point well, buying 0.1 BTC is not earning at all. What the OP is trying to seek is an advise on a way to earn 0.1 BTC on a weekly basis.

Doing work for someone else to be paid in BTC is working as well...
In a western country an ordinary job returns much more than work paid in BTC (easily 5-10 BTC per month). There is no free lunch anywhere.

It is not so easy to earn 10 bitcoin per month.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.2 (Windows/Linux) on: February 26, 2017, 09:15:42 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong... there is no speed increase in v12.1 or v12.2, right?

Or should I shift my rigs to the new version? Till now, I've been sticking with v12, and its all going smoothly.

There is no speed difference between 12.2 and 12.1.
579  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: January 06, 2017, 11:42:03 AM
It depends on a persons time and the ability to do different works, That amount is difficult to earn per week but not impossible, You should try different thing at a time . With that rank you can join into some high paying signature campaign, Do some trading , Offer various services/freelancing , Buying/selling goods, Just try something that you're good at .

This is a pretty reckless thing to do as you will be giving a lot of time on this . Then again it would be better to just stick with your daily job and consider this whole bitcoin thing as an extra income .

If the OP works hard and live in a developed country, he can earn several bitcoins a month.
580  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: December 20, 2016, 08:14:50 PM
Start trading that is a good option for you to earn 0.1 BTC per week but for that you have to buy some bitcoins I think a few dozens and have to buy and sell at right timing so that you do not miss the good time and do not lose and if you know about altcoin trade and will like to start it then you will not need any high capital to take the start.

Trading will not give you constant cash flow.
