I've 4G R9 380 MSI Gaming and 2Gb R9 380 MSI Gaming. So 2Gb GPU is about 220-230 Sol/s, but 4Gb GPU is only 200-210, overclocink settings are the same, tried different intencities. Any ideas why less RAM cards give more sols?

HI Guys

please assist if you don't mind, I'm running two gpu's in my machine, but for some reason the hashrate of the gpu in the second PCIe16 slot is very low?

if tried switching the gpu's but the outcome is the same the gpu in the second PCIe slot performs very poorly.

The well performing gpu run in PCIe x 16 3.0@16 2.0 while the under performer is running in PCIe x 16 3.0@ 4( instead of 16) 1.1.

what must I do to get the hashrate up ( the underperforming gpu currently doing a quarter of what is actually can).

hope some will be able to help.

thank you

You my need a dummy plug.  try plugging a monitor in it, and off/on.  see if that helps, then remove the monitor if its good.  the 4mhs bug is well documented on this forum/google, you should be able to fix it without problems.

HI I managed to fix it by plugging in an additional screen.

Thank you for the advise!!!!

I'm getting a combined hashrate of 33.6 H/s on Eth classic, joined the nanopool.

Is this a good hashrate for the R9 280x and RX570 combined? Using Claymore's miner.

that is strange, on my ring it s actually the opposite, the gpu with screen plug hash slower

33 for 2 gpu is actualy very low (don't know hastrate of 280's but should be 20+?  same for 570 and 27-28 if you have a moded bios
so you should have at lease 41-42 with stock clocks

AN R9 280X AND AN RX 570 WILL NOT RUN ON THE SAME DRIVERS--

This sounds like a troll-bait question.  Anyway, the R9 280X needs FGLRX  drivers, and the RX 570 needs AMDGPU-PRO drivers.  Tell me if I am wrong, please.       --scryptr

Hi

It's strange because I'm running the R9 280x and RX 570 in the same pc, I had a monitor plugged in on the performing Gpu will the other Gpu was underperformin. I tried for days to fix it and decided to plug another monitor in on the under performing Gpu and that fixed my problem. Took the monitor out afterwards and both GPU's are performing well now.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Did you restart the computer afterwards?

Hi,

yes I did, though I was going have to do the dummy plug thing again but it wasn't necessary.

Vega is going to be just like a Fury, only it might use less power and have more hash.  But how much who knows, so far the workstation edition is a let down.  The gaming edition is coming out soon, so we shall see.  There was so much hype of VEGA people forgot to check reality Smiley

  • R7750 Core 2GB GDDR3 memory clock of 1300 MHz
Thanks in advance!

I'am new to zcash mining.

I've got 325 Mh/s / Sol/s with one R9 290 and less power consumption compared to ETH Mining. Good?

That is reasonable hash rate for 290.
