561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whoa, Ethereum breaks the $200 barrier on: February 07, 2020, 03:41:53 PM
Actually not too surprising, but I did not expect this quickly. ETH has a very strong and widely adopted product, this is its biggest advantage. Even fundamentally, the amount of funds locked in Defi is more than $ 1 billion, this is a very large number. As the utilization of the ETH niche increases, this will make the ecosystem bigger and of course very influential on the price.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Money System Worked? on: February 07, 2020, 03:05:53 PM
All financial systems must have advantages and disadvantages, as well as various other things that can cause pros and cons. In the existing conventional financial system, the government does have full control, thereby providing economic protection and guarantees with tax returns, for example. If we go back to the old system, with barter, precious metals, etc., there are constraints on large volumes that are inflexible and less effective at this time.
So, why go back to the old system if there is already a new system that can be chosen and used as needed? just take the good, and cover the bad side with other systems, be flexible.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Usage Among Merchants Is Up on: February 07, 2020, 02:50:04 PM
--
Also, I've seen this poster and it catches my attention because it suits the merchants. This kind of lesson should be included in the curriculum to teach young people especially those who are in a business-related course to know cryptocurrency. Business students are the future businessmen and entrepreneurs and in the future, we will achieve more adoption so it should be taught to them. Millennials will be needing it sooner and when they grow up.  If they teach students about credit cards, why not start teaching them about crypto right?

Do you guys feel the growth of Bitcoin among merchants, like do you see increasing of shops that accept Bitcoin payment? And does add crypto to the curriculum would really make merchants accept Bitcoin?
There has not been significant adoption of payments using bitcoin in my area because it is illegal if done openly. Only state currencies can be used as payment instruments. Even if someone does that, it must be done very limited and closed and the scale is small.
I strongly agree if cryptocurrency is included in the education curriculum. Students should get the right education so they can utilize this technological development well. This evolution requires quite a long time, so innovation still has a big opportunity to develop, who knows from the children that later came up with a brilliant idea that can solve problems in cryptocurrency.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Regularization in Different Countries on: February 06, 2020, 10:06:44 PM
Each government has their respective considerations in responding to the development of cryptocurrency. As good citizens, we must follow these rules. Well, before we have to learn well about the status of bitcoin (cryptocurrency) in our respective countries, there are some that fully forbid and some that only for certain sides, for example, may only be used as an investment or commodity trade, and restrictions given usually associated with payment systems. So, even though it is not regulated, it is permissible to trade and invest, and the exchanges available in my country are officially registered at the ministry that deals with trade.
So do not generalize and overdo it, it must be studied more deeply because bitcoin has also been well received in most countries even with high-risk status.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 06, 2020, 09:56:54 PM
Pretty good promotion step. And on each sticker, you put in their respective goals so that everyone has the desire to learn more about what Bitcoin is, right?
That is your style, and each person also has his taste. With an interactive tag like that it's very great to describe the situation when talking about needs, money, and investment, it can certainly make the topic of discussion in groups more diverse, especially for those who are less familiar with bitcoin. Hopefully, your goals can be achieved and can educate the people in your network.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tom Lee: bitcoin could soar nearly 200% in the next six months(new) on: February 06, 2020, 09:18:26 PM
I am not a typical person who is easily influenced by speculation like that, whether the person is influential or not, I just make it as a complement, not fully influenced. I prefer to do independent analysis, and expand the network with other traders, it's more effective I feel than just being carried away. Rumors, issues, speculation can have an effect on the market, but we must be selective and have our own analysis so it is not easily trapped. Even if our analysis is wrong, we can value it as a result of effort and risk rather than just blaming it on others if the prediction is wrong.

He had been speculating ever since and always bullish with BTC. Nothing wrong with it specially for Tom Lee at least he only does it with BTC not with an altcoin he shills. I didn't hear him promote any token unlike Mcaffee. Seeing these kind of prediction though will make new investors in crypto think that cryptocurrency are all for speculations.
Paid promoter, right? fortunately, he is talking about bitcoin  Grin I am more uninterested when he also has an "interest" in cryptocurrency, so I think that what he conveys always has a specific purpose.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Blind Person Access Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2020, 11:32:48 PM
Like most others, I have never heard of facilities to access bitcoin for people with disabilities. Even if someone wants to develop it, it must be quite complicated, there are many aspects that need to be considered. As explained in the article, using audio functions may be constrained by homophones, etc. So this is quite complicated, but it will have a pretty good effect if it can facilitate our brothers and sisters who are disabled to take advantage of cryptocurrency.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 04, 2020, 11:25:07 PM
Very easy to understand analogy from the OP. Negative reporting in the media does have quite serious effects, I feel it for myself. When my friend found out I was involved with bitcoin he immediately warned me to leave it, it was a fraud he said. Whereas fiat can also be a tool of the crime if it is used by criminals, so whether or not cryptocurrency is good, especially bitcoin, depends on who uses it.
Well, it is different for the case of scams, Ponzi, and other fraud cases, we really have to be aware of, indirectly it gives a bad effect from the view of the wider community related to bitcoin. The simple thing we can do is to correct the news that is less precise and provide a correct understanding of bitcoin.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 04, 2020, 11:15:08 PM
That's one pretty good investment strategy, I've read an article like this, and is it the same as Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)? So we buy assets with the same nominal, no matter the price is high or low, the important thing is to consistently buy and see the effect in the long term or years. With this strategy, it will reduce market risk over time, without overly relying on market price movement trends. This is also effective for those of you who lack good knowledge of market analysis, both fundamental and technical and save time monitoring prices from time to time. And look at the outline of the OP, it gives a pretty good profit.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On most altcoins disappearing on: February 04, 2020, 11:01:31 PM
Yes, this actually has a domino effect. Bitcoin and its development team are unknown, so to expand the adoption of cryptocurrency many altcoins are taking the opportunity to develop projects that are more easily "reached" by the general public. So with this approach, it is expected to get a unique niche for its development. A truly serious project and a real function will surely form a strong niche with a good community, while careless projects will find it difficult to gain market trust and eventually disappear.
So we have to be really selective and choose a strong potential altcoin.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin: Internet’s Native Money or Asset for Speculation? on: February 04, 2020, 10:50:57 PM
If you look from a conventional perspective, you will see many problems in bitcoin. But we need to understand that bitcoin wasn't created to become a mainstream currency system. Neither it is created to replace fiat currencies. So yes, it is volatile, it has scalability issues and it is slow if you compare it with current plastic money usage.

As of now, bitcoin is majorly used as a speculative asset around the world. Millions of traders are earning their living through this speculative asset class. Million others are holding for a better price. So yes, it has not yet become a full fledged currency system yet, but definitely has become a store of value!
It is true. and I always say that cryptocurrency, specifically bitcoin will complement the flaws and conventional systems use fiat, not replace. However, bitcoin is better the system but there is another side that will be more effective if it is resolved with fiat.

Bitcoin is a commodity trading and storage of assets that have high value with high risk as well. High price volatility is also widely used to take profit, this is a potential and risky job. So don't just be affected by the bad or the good and get dizzy thinking about it, but focus on getting what we can achieve here to get profit.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Silence on: February 03, 2020, 11:34:37 PM
Criticism and bad experiences will strengthen your mentality, what we need is not to give up easily and keep learning. I was also opposed by my family because I chose to focus on trading, I continued to persevere despite repeatedly wanting to give up because there was no support at all. Finally, I can provide proof that this is a potential path, I can raise capital for business in real life, finance my sister's education, etc. Although repeatedly trapped by scams, losses when trading, but I still survive and consider it all a risk. Let's fight, for all friends, and don't give up easily too.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: February 03, 2020, 11:27:02 PM
However, predictions that are likely to become rumors will provide a good path, just follow the plot because cryptocurrency is full of the unthinkable. In general, although bitcoin price movements are getting better, more and more are being adopted, but I think it will be difficult if it replaces fiat completely. Bitcoin and fiat will complement each other. not replace each other.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 03, 2020, 11:12:39 PM
I am really thinking about investing over $15000 of my savings into Bitcoin. Would this be wise? Is BTC safe and stable at this point and this time?
That's a big fund, are you sure and ready to face all the risks? The cryptocurrency market is very dynamic, you should always look at market movements so that you are not trapped in losses and can determine the appropriate action on your coins or tokens. There are lots of temptations, FOMO, FUD, media propaganda, you have to really understand the cryptocurrency ecosystem in order to overcome that. It's better to share the money, 50:50, just try a small portion so you don't lose too much if your strategy doesn't work.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bitcoin through any means. It'll work! on: February 03, 2020, 10:53:51 PM
Many of us here think that promoting bitcoin must involve holding seminars, meet ups, or conversing to people. However, that's not true. In most cases, we should understand that we can promote bitcoin in many ways. It could be by creating memes, stickers (I've seen some cool WhatsApp stickers), etc. You just don't know who would come across it!
Lately, I made an animated video in which the character talked about bitcoin, it's uses, advantages and disadvantages. Tho it wasn't easy making it (it took days), I believe it's worth it.
Here's a link to the video: https://youtu.be/LwwOVcFPWKI
If you share the video, it'll get to more people and that's a form of spreading the right info about bitcoin.
So it could get to other people and bring a lot to understand bitcoin better.
I really like creative people, and you have done your best by maximizing your abilities. This is one of the biggest forums for discussing cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, this is a great tool for you to get a lot of attention and provide benefits, education.
Yes, I strongly agree that providing education about cryptocurrency not only through seminars or the like, using an avatar related to cryptocurrency on social media accounts can be a very good tool, providing knowledge directly to family and friends is also very effective for correcting perceived not quite right about cryptocurrency.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: February 03, 2020, 10:46:03 PM
Bitcoin do really shows an active example of how volatile it is, 2020 is speculated to be a good start for cryptocurrency as we started the year with a bullish trend from most of the cryptocurrency on the CMC. But this doesn't have any strong basis for the entire market to show bullish trend, but with bitcoin alone, it could drive altcoin's market price to soar way up high with the news concerning bitcoin halving that for me, is enough to say that market could be bullish this year.
You are right. I also see this as a good start. Although the upward trend is not too significant, it is quite positive. Hopefully the halving has a positive effect like the previous period. Some trader friends also started to prepare themselves, some of them speculated that April was the determination, if this trend is getting more positive then a big pump will come, and this will be even more interesting if altcoin has an impact too.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Kucoinplay going to be better than typical bounties? on: February 03, 2020, 03:56:19 PM
Some drama bounty campaigns often occur lately, moreover the market conditions are not good too. So let's just say it's a risk, the allocation is cut, locked, etc. It would be better to choose a bounty campaign with fix allocation and the rewards offered already exist in the market, it reduces some worries.
Regarding Kucoinplay, to be honest, I am not interested in such a bounty system. Rely on reff to get the highest rank, prone to manipulation, there is no special ability that can be offered and for the lucky ones who can get the highest reward. Of course returning to each choice, what is important can be maximized to get profit.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is digital gold good? on: February 03, 2020, 03:39:00 PM
I am interested in this GOLD token https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digital-gold/
Good or bad, of course, very relative. As far as I know, GOLD coins are equivalent to the price of real gold, one of their slogans is digitalization of gold. The price also tends to be stable and there are no significant changes, of course the gold equivalent. Their bounty campaign also went pretty well and gave satisfying rewards to selected participants. If I had to choose, I would prefer real gold, because there is nothing technically different in appearance. It would be better to invest it in other cryptocurrency whose price does not depend on anything, it is to increase the chances of getting profit when pumping, but it is also more risky.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: February 03, 2020, 03:30:29 PM
Having just one BTC can be a very valuable investment, let alone approaching a halving moment like this. Based on the existing pattern, after halving there will be a significant increase. Don't forget to diversify your assets. It's better not to lay eggs in one basket, and it's good to try potential coins or tokens whose function is clear as many members suggest above. I suggest ETH and XRP.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: February 02, 2020, 09:17:14 PM
The huge money that CZ will be giving to the patients is a good way of advertising their exchange but to be honest, this isn't the one they really need right now.

What they need right now is masks, medicines to prevent it from spreading like alcohol and sanitizers, and what the people in Wuhan right now is our prayers Smiley. I think it would be better if CZ will just give masks not only on the people in Wuhan but to all the countries that already have a case of the coronavirus. We need it right now to be honest. Supplies of masks are depleting right now in a fast pace that most of the people can't get even one box even though there are some volunteers who are giving free masks.
Regardless of marketing efforts from Binance Or not, the important thing I salute the concern. This charity work is one of the concerns of binance for the world and is not only limited to profit-seeking, and it has become a routine activity, I think. And it is true that masks and medical equipment are more needed, but all forms of support are the best as a form of caring. and for those who have not been able to participate directly, don't forget to pray for one another.
