5702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Fortune Jack a Scam or are they Legit? on: July 10, 2018, 08:32:44 PM
A newbie bumping up a thread and do simply tell all dice sites are rigged and non-fair at the same time he do suggest and promote that paykeyy.com. I have tried out to surf yet but same as you said and the other guy above. All things that do offer too good to be true would be definitely just an another scam websites. When we do talk about easy money and do give assurance of profiting would just only exist on our dreams. Giving out guarantees to make money do really pisses me of.
Guys, don't pay attention to him, it was spammer and all his posts in various sections is just advertizing the website. He is nuked now.

Lol he is the campaign manager of this project bro. He definitely go with the positive talk about fortunejack over the forum. If I am right this admin account has the negative trust in the forum some time.
Please do not go with the Fortunejack to gamble with your bitcoin. Many scam attempt on jack pot won by the various forum people itself.
What are you talking about man? campaign manager? Who? Its clear that Hhampuz https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=881377 is the campaign manager of FJ. Its expected for its members to talk positive but we do know that fortunejack is one of the most reputable sites running as of this moment.
If you do suggest not to play with them, then where would you suggest?
Im not defending but every gambling site do have their issues.
Reputable members are promoting FortuneJack through their signature, so I must say it's not a scam sites and the fact
that FJ is still running until now, it showed how people trusted their money to bet on FJ.
I dont know where they do put up their logic when talking up to things which its clear that FJ is retaining its reputation after all these years. Its still operating and kicking.
Some players do call a website a scam if they do lose up money while they are playing which is quite common among gamblers thats why these claims arent really suprising in my side.
5703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to have one wallet for all cryptos? on: July 10, 2018, 07:41:56 PM
Technically speaking, is it possible to have one wallet for all cryptocurrencies?

It is such a big pain that we have to use o many wallets if we want to trade many altcoins.
Deal with it because not all coins would just only on a single platform yet we do know there are several platforms where coins do make used on but the most common one is erc20 token based which we can see it everywhere yet its easy to make a coin on this one thats why its not questionable why most projects do rely on this one.In this case we can make use of certain wallet for these coins like MEW.
For other coin platofrm they do have significant wallet which you would need to download for it to be stored.
5704  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: July 10, 2018, 06:01:10 PM
Bitcoin is stable for months, what to do?.These are the questions roaming on every topic on this forum so im  helping you decide whether you want to sell it or buy something. Well, im promoting buying so here's why.

You probably have some coins bought when the price is still high, and you want to sell it because you are afraid that it may go deeper and you lose more. These is called the panic sellers which triggers When the value of the coins they are trading or holding pump down. What will happen? You will claim that you defeated and surrender for what we say bear manipulation. You just gave your money to them, you get depressed and you eill post bad news about bitcoin so that a lot people would be discouraged to invest. It doesnt help yourself and doesnt help other people either.

But what if, instead of declaring you lose, you hold your coins until it goes back because we both know that this drop is just temporary and when the value get tired of being low, it will soar high again. Its a winwin situation for us financially and emotionally. Yes , it is depressing until it still low but we know we are not lose until we sell it. More money, lesser stress.

We should take this low value opportunity to buy rather ranting nonsense that wouldnt help. Have a strong heart people.

You cant influence people to hold because of the strong dip in the market, even they want to stay people are afraid to lose their money because of the dip even the reallity is that the price will be good soon.
Of course we should not force people but we should tell them easy way of gaining money, most of people get afraid only because of price so they are lack of knowledge, we need to share our knowledge with them so that they will become confident, so try to encourage them buy some coin soon after the pump they will start investing and will stay with crypto currency.
Investors should think about the future of bitcoin and not only to the current market. No doubt the current situation is very bad for bitcoin but this situation will not last for long. Soon we will see growth in the price and those who hold their coins will be happy with their decision to stay in the market. Cool and determined people can make money from their investment.
Yeah circumstances are against the growth of bitcoin, because some people are just spreading bad news and panic selling but I am sure soon the situation will be handles and it will be the best time for all bitcoin investors and holders, so now I think bitcoin will surely be high so no need to lose your hope just be patience and have your fait for crypto stronger because you are the only one person who can remove all your worries and get you earn good profit.
Patience would always matter but sometimes we cant able to handle it out when we do see negative things circling around and mainly affecting bitcoins adoption rate. Its just a normal thing for government to take any actions towards cryptocurrencies specially with bitcoin because of its feature that can mainly affect them. People would normally see directly the negative side specially when media would do make such false announcement or advertisement about it.Only people who do have deep understanding and fully aware on goodness of crypto will definitely hold up.
5705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARE marijuana Coins good? on: July 09, 2018, 11:32:35 PM
Things with names like "PotCoin" are never good. Even if Dennis Rodman is wearing their shirt on CNN. It's just not a professional sounding thing where people will put large sums of money in.
Just like what happen on other coins being introduced by celebrities like Mayweather on its centra project. What happened? It do still end up on scamming its investors and now they are facing up lawsuit. This just proves out that no matter how popular is the endorser it cant really change the fact about coins usage or potential specially for long term. You cant trust em.

I dont even see any potential on any coins that do represents something.Just like marijuana coins.
5706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: July 09, 2018, 11:04:17 PM
Alright Manny's in Malaysia now.

If he wins, he probably won't retire, that's the problem with older boxers, they don't give up.
I wouldn't judge him too early unless he said something new just like before, he told to the media that he'll start retiring soon but look there's fight with Horn and now with Matthysse.

He has too many careers and who knows if he chose to focus with any of it like his political or jump for being a coach or a pastor or so.
Same thoughts.! Out of all recent careers as of now you would really be confused on which field he would tried to focus on but i bet he wont easily leave boxing yet this is the thing who lift him up and make a trademark on his name same goes with financial aspect. We cant really judge on what he would tend to do and you are right its been talked about retirement about his last fight with Horn but now we are seeing him fighting once again. This would be a good match up basing on opponents current statistics.
5707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No Bull Run in 2018? on: July 09, 2018, 10:33:22 PM
No Bull Run in 2018?

I am just wondering what will happen to the cryptocurrency market if there will be no bull run that can happen before the end of this year as what many have been expecting? Can we then anticipate a much lower market volume or will there be instead a big rebound like a market revenge? Or should we start watering down our expectations as soon as possible?  I have been thinking of the possible scenarios because I can sense that many cryptocurrency players and holders are really looking forward for a bull run or a bullish market soon...what do you think?
In this state of bitcoin and altcoin market it always depending on bitcoins, there is a slight recoveries that happens or called mini bull run. I don't see that 2018 is a whole bearish. Its to early to say no bull run, bitcoin movement and this range hopefully continues.
Slight recovery cant really be considered to be called as a mini bull run. When we do talk about bull run its an upward movement either on gradual basis and the thing we do only see is just a small increase and suddenly decrease its price in a shorter time frame which i do rather treat it as a sideways movement or a total accumulation zone as of these days. We cant still ensure if we would able to experience bull run on this year because it would be entirely depending on the market players and adoption.
5708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, emotions and your fine selves on: July 09, 2018, 07:24:46 PM
Thats why I try to use bots when trading. They do not have emotions. They trade depending on the market and the charts. In which case without a doubt they are better than almost all humans trading, we tend to put our emotions into trading but bots do not have emotions and they trade without any human feelings. One of the biggest reasons why bots are profitable compared to almost all humans.

Erm, but are your bots not trained to react to market conditions which are often prone to human fallibility? There seem to have been more than a few people wiped out by their bots going insane when their masters weren't looking.

I don't know much about them so I could be completely wrong.
What a very wrong kind of perception for a someone do make use bots just to avoid emotion problems towards or directly with the investor or trader itself. Bots is very helpful in automating trades but there are things which cant definitely done by a bot which a certain person can able to do like sudden change of plans due to price changes. There are decisions that should really be done which bot cant able to do such thing.
5709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: July 09, 2018, 05:44:14 PM
How do you guys spot scam betting sites ? Which are the red flags with those kind of sites and do you believe the rating/review sites or they are mainly paid like the ICO review sites ?

There are two kinds of scam gambling sites for me, the first one is the tricky one and the other one is the trying hard one, so what's the difference between those two? here it goes. The tricky one is that it is just the same gambling site to a legit one, you'll not notice that it is just a scam if you are just a naive person who is playing gambling on random gambling sites but if you are going to inspect the whole gambling site you'll notice that "Oh wait this is just a scam" while the other one is that you could easily notice that something was off already, misspelled words, the site is a complete trash, and the whole site is just trashy.

Don't forget the third type which is a well made scam. Creators of these sites put a lot of money and effort into the site, have campaigns, people hired to promote them, a professional team. They usually even start as a legit site but then modify something to start scamming people or disappear just like that. It's almost impossible to avoid them.
But don't worry, they are rare.

Exactly. The cases you've mentioned are so rare that they are not worth even mentioning. With that kind of logic you can end up trusting nobody, even with great reputation. It's enough to avoid sites with bad reviews or without any reviews at all. No need in poisoning your life with ungrounded suspicions.

I personally trust reviews and ratings on the Internet although I'm aware that some of them can be fake. I think it depends on how good you are in using Google in general.
They do say searching up on Google is pretty basic but doing it actually would really be tough yet choices would still always vary on your decisions in the end basing on your analysis and to that kind of logic that had been mentioned where you do already come to a point that even reputable or good ones you do still able having the suspicion you would really be just like on a man that trust no one.Sometimes it do good things but applying it strictly would still have negative effects just like missing out on good opportunities.
5710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: July 09, 2018, 04:52:23 PM
I know signature campagns exists on this forum for very log time . I was wondering , do they really help to promote ICO , i know they spend a lot of money to pay bitcointalk members to wear their singatures and make posts . Do they really make profit out of this ?
If people are going to invest on such project, developers are scattering these advertise everywhere on the internet so it does really help them to gather more people that's interested in their projects. You will see to their websites the different platform that they were using to make contact to almost everyone not just in here but also on the other.

And also if you are the developer you really should have a financial support to continue your project, it is not just a small projects that wants to get some attention so they can easily gain some investors. It is a paid project to secure the success of their campaign.
Security or assurance is somehow lit into this part and its not a guaranteed thing of success even if you do have the big amount of budget on marketing but somehow its always an advantage where you can able to scatter out regarding on your site and do give chances to accumulate or convince potential investors. If you are a developer and do see the generousity when it comes to marketing and some people do have this kind of basis where the team is capable enough when it comes to finances.
5711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities and Cryptocurrency on: July 05, 2018, 09:05:42 PM
Just wanted to create a thread on this and if anyone has heard from reliable sources of well known people recently expressing interest in cryptocurrency.

The well know star Akon is going to launch his own coin this year.
He'll be issuing an ICO to fund his project to finance infrastructure in Africa.
Guess the name of coin?
AKoin Cheesy

AKoin omgg hahahahaha, I like that. Also some good public awareness and a great thing for him to do it in Africa, any economic advancement would be great over there
But the question is that this project would able to follow its true motive when they do already accumulate support funds or get investors? Chances would be still on 50-50 and just like other projects it do succeed on ico but later on they do already forgot on what they do propose or promised.
Seeing or following coins or projects endorsed by any famous celebrity wont really be ideal.
5712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Do People Dump Their Precious Tokens With Ridiculous Low Price on: July 05, 2018, 08:13:25 PM
As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?

The answer is simple the precious token might not be as precious as you think it is. People achieve closure at different point of their activities and what is precious to Mr A is not precious to Mr B. Aside from those who really spend money to buy the token and the developer that kept some for themselves, who are still expected to exercise to exercise some restraint in dumping, every other category didn't really believe in the project. Signature campaigners, blog campaigners, Twitter/Facebook posters, article publicist, translations bounty, bug bounty, developer bounty, airdrop and a host of other "free" inflow, just worked for their time and energy so the issue of it being precious was never in the picture to influence their decisions.
Or just simply for those people who didn't pull out money on their wallets wont really be keen or serious on trying to see out the true potential of the coin or project they do advertise or promote. The thing in mind is mostly concern with the possible profits or payout on the things they had done. Insights would always vary on each person because there still some people engage on bounties do keep out their tokens because they do believe on it but this is not always the case.
5713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: July 05, 2018, 07:14:06 PM
Im not a gambling addict but i know some and it didnt make anything good to them. One person i know becomes addict on the game called cock fighting that is a popular gambling here in my country. He works abroad and comes back here once a year and yes, he has plenty of money to gamble with. He really likes to gamble. He even get prison on the country hes working for because of addiction. I dont have any news about him after that.
Truthfully, it has not, except if we want to lie to ourselves. Although, the whole addiction did not just start in a day as so many people just get so greedy at some point and then they just kept looking for things in the spot where they obviously cannot find it.

So many people though gamble for different reasons, but the best way is to see it as fun and see how much you are gambling with as what you are paying for the fun but the chances of winning something from it is possible. If most gamblers can think it that way, I feel things would be a lot better than it is today.
There are many gambling stories related to my neighbors and friends. Recently one of my friends was gambling in a place and the police raid that place and arrest some gamblers on the spot and some ran away. They are now wanted and the police issued a warrant against them. I was thinking that this is the result of gambling. Loss of money and respect as well.

This is not always a result when it comes to gambling because when theres already an authority involved then most likely they do arrest the owner of the said gambling place where they do operate without any license or illegally which its normal for government to do such act and for those gamblers had been caught out then they might be used as a witness or any other purpose but playing gambling itself isn't an illegal thing unless if your country prohibits gambling then you are definitely going to prison because of violation.
5714  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: July 05, 2018, 06:09:12 PM
I recently stumbled upon a project called Algebraix and they brought up some really good points about data exploitation on their blog (https://medium.com/algebraix-data). So it brought me to ask the question: do we really care if our data is exploited?

With huge scandals like Facebook and Cambridge Analytica, this issue is brought into the lime light. I'm really curious if you guys care or not
Yes I care! I’m not the type of person that jokes with information about myself or things that has to do with my personal life. It is very important to keep everything safe, you never know where your problem might come from. Giving out information that is meant to be kept secret can definitely land you in trouble that you will regret one day.

Sometimes they can use all thee information you gave to them to track you. Some of them also sell out your information to other bad websites that will end up spamming your email. It’s very risky, so don’t get out information to anyone.
These are the risk involve if we do carelessly give out our personal info floating into the internet. It can be used into other purposes which would monetize your info and sell out into other parties. Some people doesn't care about their personal informations but most of us would really care about this matter. No person would like for someone to use up their identity but I believe even just on real world we are already giving out our personal informations like fill-uping about ourselves is already considered.
5715  Other / Archival / Re: Unpaid Bounty Effort on: July 05, 2018, 04:47:02 PM
Thank you for the fact that you wrote a list of campaigns, I recently also get a lot of scam. I have not yet learned to distinguish it from real projects.
Its hard to know the real one because scam ICO's are also improving their marketing strategy so they can raise funds in short term. I don't have any bounty token right now but I'm still working with some bounty right now and I hope its worth it.

You can spot a scam by looking at how much efforts they spend on making their whitepaper and roadmap.
Probably how they do marketting their project too.  Roll Eyes
No, this is not always the case because scammers are already wise nowadays where they do make effort or serious on making their whitepaper and roadmap to be realistic since they do know that most investors would probably hooked up with a well written or planned white paper because if they would just not pay attention then investors would most likely have less interest. They do make their hands dirty a little bit for them to scam of.

I have been doing bounties for some time and I have encountered some bounty effort that are not paid for.

1. Hashcard - scam exit
2. Blackfolio - did not reach softcap
3. BCharity - did not reach softcap
4. Safein - project is cancelled
5. Impressio - scam exit
6. Root blockchain - didn't get enough private investors

I learned a lesson here.  I have to be more selective in the future in choosing bounties, as much as choosing an ICO to invest.

Do you have any similar experience?  Please share so that others may learn.

I put a lot in safein,  but was surprised to receive a mail that day canceling their ico,
Nothing is as painful as believing in a project and see that project exit scam or suspended.

The best thing is to always scout out projects before participating in there campaigns.
Sad to hear out but most of projects do make a refund when the campaign is cancelled due to various reasons. Have you get your investment back?
5716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: July 05, 2018, 07:42:05 AM
I was out of gambling for a while because of my emotional gambling nature.
I try to do sports betting as mathematical as possible but often I get overwhelmed by loss.
I had decided not to bet above $100 on any bet.
Germany being my favorite team, I put a $500 bet against Mexico, which I lost.
That increased my frustration and I came to bet $1000 on portugal. And to my luck I won it at 1.65 odds.
But if I would have lost, I would have been cashless and betless for the rest of world cup.

You should feel lucky that you where able to recover the lost amount and made some profit out of it. Now do not spend those whole amount on betting unless you have extra money and can afford to lose it. Just if you cannot control yourself only play with those extra profit.

We know that everything here is up to the experience and your luck and besides it other managements are also contributing for your survival but winning of game is just depending upon the experience and luck. If a person is not doing well then he should stand away from the table for some time and should think how things work and after getting some experience his winning chances will increase.

The worst thing about gambling is it is all based on luck. You can’t just make anything good in a day when you’re not luck. Then why to adopt something that is all pledged over luck. Better is to understand this fact and quit gambling because if this isn’t your lucky day today, you are up to see a big loss coming towards you. So choice is all yours. Either to go for loss or for some profit in trading.
Why we do lose even more? because we do force ourselves to believe in our luck on a particular day or time even though we are already losing we are just still hoping to comeback to profits or even break even. This is always been a bad part of us as a gambler and to avoid we should know how to control our emotions and aims towards it because if none then most likely we would end up into this kind of scenario.
5717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gate.io now requires KYC? on: July 05, 2018, 06:47:17 AM
Automatic KYC with facial recognition & ID scanning technology, passport in 3 seconds
For withdrawal in verifying status, you must go through KYC2 first.
You can access your account, then click Wallet> KYC to upload your photo card and the required information.
After completing KYC1, you can proceed through KYC2.
When you complete KYC2, your withdrawal will take place immediately.
If you have completed KYC2, your withdrawal will run smoothly

I am aware of the process. I am just not aware that KYC is needed before withrawal because I once used gate.io before and there was no KYC POLICY. My friend just also withdraw from gate just a few weeks ago without KYC. Are expired passports allowed?
In any KYC verifications expired documents or id's wont really be valid in all sorts.I was even shocked that they do already required KYC when you do ask for withdrawal and you are right they didnt even give out an announcement or just an email regarding on such new requirement but hence inspite of lacking passport since i was still not able to process that passport because it isnt necessary the method above me do works and been approved. Drivers license would do and tell them about your situation. The thing i do love is that they do verified fast.
5718  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018/07/03]Japanese Financial Services Change Crypto Exchange Regulations on: July 04, 2018, 07:52:54 PM
The self-regulatory exchange body aims to better align with existing anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and will also prohibit the trading of anonymity-based cryptocurrencies like Monero and Zcash.

Common words and such regulations will always really be implemented. Always do aim for customers protection which is a good thing.
What they do actually need to changed up? since on the beginning they do already concern on users protection and now they are already excluding Monero and Zcash on the list.Well that's a little bit expected due to anonymity features of those coins but in general speaking adoption will always be an advantage but expect on such control.
5719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why is there no bitcoin casino with sicbo on: July 03, 2018, 11:59:16 PM
this is my favorite casino game i don't understand why i can't find any site with it that's not restricted.

if anyone knows a site please share.
betcoin.tm has it but i didn't like theirs too laggy, low payouts and i don't trust them
Simple! Community isnt too interested on that game even myself do have some favorite games but it isnt available online. Ive seen some of them tried out some games but do still failed because theres no soo much players who do engage with it.This is why im not surprised on the absence of those particular games. When we do tried to look at on the gambling market Dice games are the most common.
5720  Economy / Securities / Re: Suggest me your opinion on: July 03, 2018, 10:42:30 PM
I want to invest some money. Is that right time for invest? where i need to invest this time?
Altcoin
BTC

As for me the best time to invest when you have money to invest and desire to get profit.
I reccomend you to look at the ICO EON. It is really perspective company that soon will have a good profit)

Everybody has a desire to earn profit. It is the risk that somebody is willing to take in crypto as it is the most volatile market and we have seen in last 7-8 months how market has fallen from 18k to 6k and it is also a patience to hold the coins till it reach the 18k back or more.

Not all do have that kind of patience that we do commonly talk on. Most of us do really like to see profits on a short time frame. For those new investors who are already aware on the previous scenario that happened into bitcoins price or any other altcoins in the market then this would mark out into their minds on how risky this kind of investment and thats why its being advised for a thousand times that only use up on the money that we can afford to lose. About on coin investment always secure out into top ones.
