I wondered the same thing and went through their twitter feed to try to determine. I only saw 2 coins added in 2015 and I do not think either of them were vote based - so doesn't seem like it happens very often. Regardless of this, we should keep voting as much as possible. As we continue to grow as a community, value and volume will climb. If we are high on the voting list as PoSP is released, I think it will be a no brainer for Bter to add CBX - just my opinion.

CBX Marketing Update:

We are in discussion with Bitcoin PR Buzz regarding use of their service to extend our reach for sharing Crypto Bullion development news. We have begun writing an article for publishing that covers the now underway development of our unique algorithm, Proof-of-Stake-Participation (PoSP), which will replace our current Hybrid algorithm upon completion. This article will explain why we believe PoSP will be a game-changing development that fully maximizes the potential for security by providing a variable PoS compensation rate to adequately incentivize maximal consistent staking to protect the network; while at the same time allowing Crypto Bullion to stay true to its ultra-low 2% per year inflationary promise established over 2-years ago at inception.

This article will be targeted to the savvy investor who is looking for something revolutionary to come along in the crypto space where they can diversify some of their portfolio for speculation on future market growth. A second PR push will follow once PoSP is ready for release with its detailed accompanying white paper.

Thanks for looking into Bter and providing feedback info. I have not had the opportunity to start trading there yet but working on it as well. No response as of yet to my numerous inquiries requesting the return of our earned votes but hopefully if we stay persistent, they will give in (or at least respond lol).

I did reach out to BTC38 personally and they said they would have a look at Crypto Bullion, fwiw. Jubi is another exchange that Jimmy has contacted regarding CBX...

I think we will make the most headway with pressuring Chinese exchanges as we get our thread launched on 8BTC and spread some info on CBX - also planning some giveaways over there to get people downloading and trying out the Vault.

Getting the ball rolling with our present community is certainly the starting point though.

If you are a member of the CryptoBullion family/community and want to help, here is an opportunity where every individual can make an impact.

As we have outlined previously, the Chinese market has been targeted as an important area for CBX to gain entry. We have made strides with this objective by bringing on a team member that is based in China to assist with communication barriers and guidance and have had the front page of the website translated for starters.

We will start a thread to establish a presence on the primary cryptocurrency forum used by the Chinese (8BTC) and are actively searching out paid advertising opportunities. Additional to this, of course listing on Chinese trading platforms is necessary. One of the major players is Bter.

CryptoBullion was listed on the voting page of Bter under our old name (Cryptogenic Bullion) which had accumulated over 2400 votes. We had Bter change to our new name and symbol to avoid confusion, however, in the process they decided to remove the already accumulated votes. What we would like from the community is 2 fold: 1. contact Bter and ask them to return the previously earned votes to CBX and 2. start casting votes for CBX to be added.

Your contribution to either or both of these tasks will be very helpful. Remember, the hardest part is building up the momentum for change and that is what is in front of us. So if you have a couple of minutes, please help out.

Good news first:
We have established contact with Bter and managed to get them to change CBX's name on their voting page in accordance with the official renaming so you can now vote for Crypto Bullion (CBX) as apposed to voting for the old name (Cryptogenic Bullion - CGB).

Not so good news:
Bter inexplicably made the decision to remove all votes that had been accumulated.

I have made a post in their thread here at Bitcointalk and will reach out through other means of communication as well with the hope of getting them to return the votes. Assistance from the community is greatly appreciated in this endeavor.

Thank you for your assistance in renaming Cryptogenic Bullion (CGB) to Crypto Bullion (CBX) on your voting page in accordance with the coins renaming - this is appreciated.

However, it does not seem fair that the 2,400+ votes the this coin had already fairly received have been cleared out and the coin is now forced to start again from zero votes. The votes were all fairly earned through your BTR based voting system and in accordance with your rules so it feels wrong to have them taken away.

We are encouraging the Crypto Bullion community to start using Bter and to assist with getting CBX added but do not want the community to feel as if they will be treated unfairly over at Bter.

Can you please reconsider this decision and add back the earned votes?
