Fuck yeah!!! More nazi discussions.
dudes you are a bunch of lame necrobumpers!

Its perfectly ok to continue an old discussion that is also an ongoing issue.

It's important to note that one's race or sexual orientation are things that they have no control over, whereas one's membership in a violent racist group is the product of a conscious decision.

Some people choose a bi-sexual lifestyle. No one chooses to be bi-racial.

585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is hilarious... on: March 29, 2013, 08:56:25 PM
Western Union could probably lower their fees by using bitcoin.

586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is hilarious... on: March 29, 2013, 06:41:12 PM
As time passes and more and more people get bitcoins, the problem will solve itself.

If that's even true, then so be it. The issue with the above statements however is that it's bitcoin fanboy nonsense. Western Union kicks Bitcoin's ass as a value *transfer* system atm IF you don't already have the bitcoins, AND your receiving party won't be holding bitcoins. No arguing around it.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd

you get to pay the 3% tax (inflation, conservatively), while your receiving party's bitcoins increased many times in value.

Sending $500 with Western Union in Canada costs a lot more than $10. Its $35. I wonder what their excuse is. Canada is big?

5500 new account = $1,000,000 - $2,000,000 inflow to a $900,000,000 market is 'not too shabby'Huh? I disagree. Too shabby.

....so many markets with 1% monthly growth, right?  Tongue
591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin Confiscation on: March 27, 2013, 02:25:38 PM
If one considers that exchanges hold peoples deposits (in both Bitcoin and fiat), and those exchanges already being regulated (most of them indirectly, some of them directly), what is stopping the regulators giving those deposits a "haircut", this time a double whammy - in both Bitcoin and fiat?

Nothing, methinks.

The sweet illusion of infallibility!

It is entirely optional to hold bitcoins in exchanges.

there were around $700 million worth of Bitcoins in circulation.

That's a bit of a misleading figure.

Yes, because the market cap is more like 800 million.
