"or 23 coins back for every 22.5 coins paid in if we could stay at 0.0099"
yes, math is correct.
my best price was unlimited 0.00013, and i got it for some time

teams odds are 1:8 to hit?
A bit better than that... assuming 500TH/s for 24 hours, it's about 1:4.7

ok, i counted 13hours

is it game over over or still time left?
seems like bigger hash rates at short period do the results..?

Has anyone here ever found a block while renting from Nice/Westhash? Every success story seems to use MRR?

The one before last block found was using Nicehash and he got it just at the end of his rental :-)

"fredi"

biggest hash powers on mrr are rented from west/Nicehash only to gain profit
west/Nicehash average 0.0097 BTC/TH/Day
mrr bighash: 0.01990 BTC/TH/Day

★After payment, the rig will start automatically
★If you find that the rig does not work, probably because of the difficulty of your pool is too low, please change the difficulty of the pool
★If you find the rig failure, please do not worry, after the rig recovery, I will increase the speed of the rig to compensate your losses, when the lease ends, the "Average Hashrate" will reach more than 95%
★Any unexpected losses,will be compensated
★Have any questions, please leave a message, the staff will get back to you

do the math..

Has anyone hit renting with nice or west hash?  I have spent quit a bit of coin attempting it.  not 40 or 50 maybe 10 btc

Curious to know how many of the  41 blocks have been hit by nice-west hash rentals.

For instance  727miner used MRR

not me, but ppc blocks i got plenty using nice/west

 Speed TH/s 0.6519   Current diff 4.0000

This pools is setting 651.9Ghs to diff 4?  I find that hard to believe.
I think that's the problem from the nice/westhash side... it would appear that they are somehow keeping an authorized open connection with the pool, and vardiff is continuously lowering until it hits 4... then when the hash rate climbs, nice/westhash determines that the difficulty of 4 is too low for the hash rate and disconnects.

I know for a fact that ckpool properly addresses difficulty.  I've got 5 U2 sticks solo mining here and they get a difficulty of 7, so 651GH/s would definitely not see a diff of 4.

It's an issue on the nice/westhash side.

you got the point, thats the question
that keeps me thinking is it possible to attack ck pool with low diff shares, not so useful(and expensive with 2pths) at these days , but still..
590  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 41 blocks solved! on: May 01, 2015, 04:17:23 PM
nice/westhash:
some problems getting workers to connect because(got 10ths rented):
104.200.24.180:3333   Disconnected. Pool difficulty too low.   Speed TH/s 0.6519   Current diff 4.0000

Pool's starting diff is 1000 and it can work at any diff whatsoever from 1 up to virtually infinity. This is not my problem, take it up at their end.

problem is when your rent order is not filled atall and waits price to drop.
meanwhile pool starts dropping diff to 4.
when price drops and you get, lets say 100ths hash instantly , its a problem when u have starting diff att 4 when big hashes hits.. so it disconnects.
Doesn't nice/westhash work by using your gear only if a rental meets a certain criteria?  I'm confused why it would drop the difficulty down to say 4... and then suddenly hammer that with 100TH/s.  Also, why don't you just set the difficulty yourself?
Code:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334 -u YOUR_BITCOIN_ADDRESS -p p=0.01;d=1024

Wouldn't that solve your problem?

no, when im the one who rents from nice/westhash to mine here
happens rarely, but its annoying --->Disconnected. Pool difficulty too low.   Speed TH/s 0.6519   Current diff 4.0000
do we these days really need so low diff as under 128 values?

Then that's on west/nicehash to fix.  ckpool will automatically detect the hash rate and set the difficulty appropriately.  If for some reason the rentals initially connect at some low hash rate, then the pool would properly set the diff low.  The pool itself sets the starting diff to 1042 when you first connect and authorize.  I don't know the specifics of how west/nicehash move the rentals, but if you're experiencing this kind of behavior, then it's something they're doing on their end.  I know for a fact that when I point my own gear here it behaves appropriately.

edit:

no, when im the one who rents from nice/westhash to mine here
happens rarely, but its annoying --->Disconnected. Pool difficulty too low.   Speed TH/s 0.6519   Current diff 4.0000
problems is related somehow because nice/westhash keeps connection to pool alive but submits no shares when price target not reached. i think nice/westhash dont care this problem atall..

so, do we these days really need so low diff as under 128 values? especially when targetting 47G.

current, OK: 104.200.24.180:3333   OK.   Miners 0    Speed TH/s 0.0000 Current diff 1000.0000
sometimes: 104.200.24.180:3333   OK.   Miners 0    Speed TH/s 0.0000 Current diff 4.0000

i got 3 pool blocks at failover pool, they paid me 135ppc
as solo it would be about 250ppc. my lose

seems like only peercoin is the most mined coin at your pool?
i would like to see peercoin solo pool using  solo.ckpool.org code..
simple and working

Code:
checking for QtDBus... no
./configure: line 21329: syntax error near unexpected token `QTPLATFORM,'
./configure: line 21329: `        PKG_CHECK_MODULES(QTPLATFORM, Qt5PlatformSuppo
rt, QT_LIBS="$QTPLATFORM_LIBS $QT_LIBS")'

Pierre-Louis@Bellatrix /f/dev/Worldcoin_core/1rc3/bitcoin
$ pkg-config --version
0.28

I tried copying the files from pkg-config dev/tool, compiled/installed pkg-config-lite, reran autogen.sh, started another msys, rebooted even, but still configure gives me this error (0.10.1rc3).  Is it possible there's an environment variable missing (like qtplatform_libs or something)?

Running pkg-config gives me the right version number so I'm assuming it's installed correctly.  Any suggestions? Thanks. Smiley

Copying pkg.m4 to C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\share\aclocal (or whatever your msys install folder is) should fix it.

Also make sure the mingw, and toolchain bin paths are BOTH in your PATH variable(for me, C:\MinGW\bin and C:\MinGW\mingw32\bin), although im sure if you got this far already they likely are.

This is not necessary. In a properly configured environment you will have no C:\MinGW\mingw32\bin folder and C:\MinGW\bin will just contain mingw-get executable.

"It seems it would probably be a better option to install pkg-config:"
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pkgconfiglite/files/0.28-1/pkg-config-lite-0.28-1.tar.gz/download
configure --prefix=/mingw32 && make && make install

------
or just..my easy solution, copy paste

i had pkg installed earlier as i did it with gpuminer. (copy paste bin/share folders)
now installed pkg again as you told above and now there is one error line less..
 but still this:

./configure: line 21247: syntax error near unexpected token `QTPLATFORM,'
./configure: line 21247: `        PKG_CHECK_MODULES(QTPLATFORM, Qt5PlatformSuppo
rt, QT_LIBS="$QTPLATFORM_LIBS $QT_LIBS")'

edit, solved
to mingw32 folder:
************************
** Install pkg-config **
************************
1. Visit http://www.gtk.org/download/win32.php
2. Search for a version of pkg-config that includes both the Tool and Dev downloads
3. Click and download both the Tool link and the Dev link
4. Open the pkg-config zip file and extract the bin folder to C:\mingw32
5. Open the pkg-config-dev zip file and extract the share folder to C:\mingw32

Only thing I can think of is  latency. I believe the pool's server is in the usa so probably westhash would be better but I'm no expert.

Nicehash recommends westhash for people in the US while nicehash is the rest of the worls.

what is the pools conf rate set to peercoin(520?), and auto payout period in hours?

Code:
define("CONFORMATIONS", 580); //Found in src/main.h:COINBASE_MATURITY, usually COINBASE_MATURITY + 20

Checked every hour.

maín.h:
static const int COINBASE_MATURITY_PPC = 500;

int CMerkleTx::GetBlocksToMaturity() const
