581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: July 03, 2023, 02:05:42 AM
Let the drama happen because that is part of the halving and yes there are lots to expect but believe in what you wanted to achieve .. Win from your investments mate.

To be more precise, drama is already an indispensable part of the market, drama always appears at any time, not just when the halving is approaching.  many people fear when the market has too many Fuds, but for me, I like it even more.  because that would be the perfect time to get some cheap bitcoins, the more dramatic the market, the better our chances.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: July 03, 2023, 01:58:56 AM
If anyone asks me why I love bitcoin, I will frankly answer that I love it because of the profits it brings, and it has helped my economy a lot.  without it, my family would be in a lot of trouble with what is happening in my country.  Of course, bitcoin has a lot of other benefits, but I believe everyone loves bitcoin because its profit is the most. we humans are increasingly pragmatic and I like to live with reality.
Yes, that's right, we don't need to be hypocritical when the main reason we invest in bitcoin will be profitable, in this case, is money. But there are also many benefits to be gained from this bitcoin, apart from money.
There have been many people who have finally made their economy improve after they were able to invest in bitcoin, of course with the note that the investment they did was the right way, meaning that it was planned, neatly structured and indeed for a long period of time.
Indeed, for some people there were things that didn't go well, I wouldn't say they failed, because the reason the investment didn't go smoothly was that it must have been done in an improper way, so that in the end it made the process not go well.

As I said, bitcoin gives us many benefits, like providing us privacy and complete control of our assets without the help of 3rd parties like banks, funds Credit...but the bottom line we care about most about bitcoin is profitability.
investing in bitcoin does not guarantee that we will become rich or improve our economy, as success or failure depends on each person's skill.  bitcoin only presents us with an opportunity, and whether we take it or not is up to us.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 11:06:00 AM
My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.

Op don't you think 7 years kid is too young to know the things of bitcoin?  I remember having a thread in support of kids having knowledge of bitcoin but I think you can choose kids between 11 years old and above who have had the experience of savings I believe they will be more open to learning since it has to do with money and investment.

I think there is no wrong in informing kids about Bitcoin and teaching them some basic information.  But letting a 7-year-old kid handle a Bitcoin wallet with funds in it and pressuring them to learn the more advanced knowledge about Bitcoin is very wrong IMO.  We can share to these kids the importance of Bitcoin but I think it is much better if we teach them the importance of valuing money since Bitcoin is under the category of money, so it will automatically send the idea on how saving Bitcoin is beneficial to them when they grow up and learn more about finances.

All children have a right to know about bitcoin and to know about the technologies of the future, but it is ludicrous and cruel to try to introduce bitcoin when they are so young.  i really find it annoying that many people think teaching bitcoin to young children is a good thing.  those people are selfish when they only do what they think is good without thinking about the thoughts and feelings of the children. why are so many people trying to ruin their children's childhoods? I wonder, did their parents ever force them when they were kids?

585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2023, 10:31:11 AM

If we have economic depression, it will affect not only bitcoin but even other assets like gold. People will look for survival necessities like food and shelter and not spend on luxury.
But bitcoin is not a luxury if that's the impression it has, it can actually be used as any other currency out there and it being decentralized could be a good thing against  such phenomenon as economic depression.

Bitcoin was originally designed to withstand inflation and recession, but so far it has not fulfilled that mission.  the proof is that it is still dumped when a crisis or inflation occurs.  one more thing, bitcoin is not used as a currency, if people considered it currency, they wouldn't have dumped it when bad news attacked us. most of us only see bitcoin as an investment asset, and that is why it cannot become a currency nor a safe haven when inflation occurs.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: July 01, 2023, 01:54:26 PM
Some will say that taxes have a purpose and there is no doubt about it, but if you live in a country that is highly corrupt and where you can't do anything without bribing someone, you wonder what all these taxes are and where that money goes.
My point is, one layer tax is okay, like, tax my salary, no problem but why do you tax food, electronics and all other staff? It's like, you work, pay taxes but you go at the store and you pay taxes on store products with money that you've been taxed on. At the same time, the store owner always pays taxes on his income. Does this look fair? Logically, if I pay tax on my income and store owner pays taxes on his income, I shouldn't be buying food, electronics, clothes or anything with additional taxes. That's why I think that it's morally acceptable to avoid taxes if you can.

I totally agree with your thinking, paying taxes is really our duty because it's the way for the government to sustain the economy and the country.  but many governments are abusing that and taxing everything in our lives, and that's not fair. i'm not advocating tax evasion, but if you can avoid any of it, you should.  We cannot obey every government order without knowing what is right and what is wrong.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: July 01, 2023, 01:49:14 PM

Or if someone's income is relatively low, then he can invest the amount of money he used to save in the bank because it is not safe to keep money in the bank at this time, so investing without keeping money in the bank can be a good decision.

Yes, depositing money in a bank is also not completely safe, but what guarantees an investment will be safer than a savings account, which is really bad advice.  we should distinguish between saving and investing because saving is not only for the future but also for emergencies.  have you ever thought about what happens when you don't have any savings and your investment suffers a serious loss?  always have some savings before thinking about investing.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt Default: Good or bad for crypto? on: July 01, 2023, 01:42:34 PM
The potential US debt default could have both positive and negative impact on the crypto market. A default could lead to economic downturn, which may drive investors towards alternative assets like cryptocurrencies. A default could further erode trust in traditional financial systems, potentially leading more people to explore decentralized alternatives. A US debt default could also trigger a broader financial crisis, which could lead to a widespread sell off across all asset classes, including cryptocurrencies. If US government were to take measures to restrict capital flows, it could limit the ability of investors to move funds into the crypto market.

But in the long run, it will definitely be a good thing for bitcoin.  there would be a momentary panic if the US government defaulted on its debt and caused a global economic crisis.  but in the long run, people will also be looking for solutions to find shelter, and most likely, besides gold, bitcoin can be an option as bitcoin's advantage can become a safe haven.
This topic was created before the news of the US government default, and nothing happened, but it will not rule out the possibility that they will default in the future.
589  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: July 01, 2023, 01:35:44 PM
[Real Estate investment is the safest and most promising profit if we enter it with patience

It is not correct to generalize like that, this statement has nothing to do with the economic realities of many countries. In some states, it is very typical when you buy real estate in the hope that it is a very reliable, stable and income-generating asset that will increase in value over time, but in fact, after a couple of years, you are faced with the choice either to sell it at half price or continue ownership at a loss. And if a war also breaks out in the country, as in my case, then your property becomes more of a burden, if it is not destroyed at all after constant missile attacks. So it all depends on the conditions. In my situation, real estate is far from the safest and most promising profit, although I entered it with patience.
Why do you have to be faced with that choice and sell for half the price, yes we don't sell it unless it's an urgent emergency while there is no money left except selling from the Real Estate, it's not a good choice we all know that Real Estate is a long term of at least 10 new year we will know a sizable profit.

Don't buy Real Estate in a country that is at war then it is not good in terms of any economy including there will definitely be an impact on other property markets, look for a country that can or can also be a safe area then of course the area will be better than a dangerous threat, I think that only some parts of the country are affected by war, the rest are mostly peaceful countries and have fast growth in their economies.

Obviously, I didn't buy real estate during the war. It was my property before. The choice I'm facing right now is driven by circumstances in my country, but even without war and similar disasters, real estate is no longer a priority. Much more attractive types of investments have appeared that pay back not in years, but in months. Why invest in real estate that comes with both risks and inconveniences and wait years for it to start paying real dividends?

As for buying real estate in other countries, not everyone has such opportunities in legal terms. For example, buying real estate in EU countries has a lot of restrictions and obstacles for those who are not EU citizens.
According to some surveys and statistics, real estate is still the most appreciated investment and the preferred choice of billionaires and the super-rich.  it is true that today there are more attractive investments like bitcoin, but its risks are not small and cannot be considered superior to real estate.  evaluating an investment needs many factors, not only about profit, high return is high risk, and low return is safer.  I don't believe some people don't like real estate, only people who don't have money to invest say they don't like it.
590  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 01, 2023, 02:51:15 AM
We work and invest, and the ultimate goal is to become financially free, and when it comes to that, other than spending to satisfy and fulfill my dreams, I don't think I can do much more than that.  i know this is just a topic for entertainment after many heated debates, but it really isn't necessary as each person will have their own way of spending money to satisfy themselves.  what we need to discuss is how being financially free can be more enjoyable.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: June 28, 2023, 03:47:59 PM
A good business is a business that develops from childhood and then continues to increase, if we want to increase profit in the business then there are 2 most important things that must be done, first is to increase the volume of sales and the second is to reduce production costs, if these 2 simple things can be done then then It can be guaranteed that we will get a profit that matches the target.

But how to increase sales and reduce production costs while ensuring quality?  this is something that any business will know even non-business people know about.  but if we notice, there are still many businesses that go bankrupt every day even though they also offer solutions like many are talking about here. it's easy to say but not easy to do.
Running a business is not child's play, and simply reading a few books or looking for some online solutions can help our business grow.  if we want to improve our business, we need to know where it goes wrong and what to fix, people are giving solutions that are too generic and can be found on social media.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: What could Elon Musk be buying next? on: June 28, 2023, 03:36:55 PM

When I saw the proposed fight promotional picture on the Internet, I laughed. I think it is a joke because we have not heard more detail. But if it turns out real, Elon Musk should be ready to lose the fight because Mark Zuckerberg will deal with him.

The match hasn't happened yet so it's hard to say in advance who will win, I'm looking forward to this match but don't think it will happen.  Elon was the first challenger, but we all know he's good at attracting people and creating attention.  i'm guessing he's trying to get users to Twitter or is preparing to do something bigger and needs the community's attention rather than having a real fight between them.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: June 28, 2023, 03:18:13 PM
Bitcoin is also just a speculative asset and cryptocurrency is a financial market, so there will always be trading in the market and it will never stop.  surely everyone on this forum will sell bitcoin when it hits 100k because this is the goal of many people, but besides that, many other people, especially newbies will believe that bitcoin will reach 200k, and they will buy our bitcoins.  there will always be positive news creating Fomo waves to make more people have higher faith in bitcoin, and there will always be Fuds to get more people to dump their bitcoins, that's how the market works.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Knowledgeable before Bitcoin investment is very Good on: June 28, 2023, 03:07:25 PM
I think the first thing was research google to learn more and also the risk involves.
Google's credibility is insufficient for matters of finance such as this. From what I understand, Google merely presents content created by numerous individuals, without any official determination regarding their intentions, whether they harbor ill motives or any other intentions.

Given that, in my opinion, $20k is a substantial sum, I could allocate 10% of it to seek consultation from an expert in the financial field. Engaging with just one advisor will suffice, ensuring they are a reputable and trustworthy financial advisor who will not lead us astray into purchasing unnecessary items.

if you are looking for advanced and in-depth knowledge, google may not give you, but for basic knowledge, it is the most complete place for you, IMO.  and I think the bitcoin basics provided by Google should be enough for anyone to get started. I also started learning everything from social media without anyone's help.
I would rather figure everything out myself than hire a financial advisor, because if they are really good at finance.  why do they not make their own money by investing but advise others to make money?
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin must surpass gold on: June 28, 2023, 02:55:18 PM
Bitcoin will beat gold, time will tell.

If Bitcoin and gold exist in the same time, Bitcoin price would be very high compared to gold because there are many features you can only find in Bitcoin, but not in gold.

Bitcoin is not perfect, nothing is. In some ways gold is better than Bitcoin and will always be. Gold doesn't depend on software, on computer networks, on cryptography, gold can't be stolen by malware, gold will not be useless during blackout.
You don't have to buy a physical gold to own gold, you have a choice to buy a digital gold in a trusted site. The risk is high if you have a digital gold because you're relying in centralization.

If you say, that timing says it all, then we shouldn't try to add comparisons in favor of bitcoin and try to downplay gold.  i also believe in the bright future of bitcoin, but whether it will surpass gold or not, time will tell for the best.  it all depends on human need because if something is good, but demand for it does not increase, its value will never increase. bitcoin surpassing gold or vice versa completely depends on users' needs, not just our words.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 27, 2023, 06:42:39 PM
Actually, Joselu less experience play in Champion League and since Real Madrid not sign new center forward looks he has chance get regular position but depend on his performance consistent scoring goals or not exactly on Champion League matches.

Joselu is not experienced enough for Champions League. But he is quite talented. He has the ability to score a lot of goals. And so if Joselu adapts well to the Real Madrid squad. If Joselu's understanding with the team players is good then it is expected that Joselu will be able to score a lot of goals in the coming season. Last season he was able to score a lot of goals even against weak teams like Espanyol.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 27, 2023, 06:37:20 PM
Premier League is much more competitive than Ligue 1. And so Premier Neymar's risk of injury is more. For this reason, I don't understand why teams like Manchester United and Chelsea would be interested in Neymar. These seem to me to be purely rumors. Moreover, if Neymar's wages were low, many clubs would probably be interested in getting him into the team. But Neymar's wages are much higher. This is why the league of Saudi Arabia is suitable for Neymar.
No doubt Premier League is much competitive and tougher for the players instead of many other leagues in Europe so here players fitness also need to be at his best and Neymar Jr is having serious trouble which is preventing him from playing many times in last few seasons at PSG but now as we have rumors about his possible transfer to Premier League is completely rubbish decision because this can hurt the buyer badly now the best thing for him is just complete his contract here and then have to fly for any Saudi club which can give him good amount for the end of his career because he is already enough in this game for clubs, and now it's time to leave with huge funds from Saudis as they can also afford this luxury with injuries as well.
Neymar's injury crises is something we all know will still continue no matter where he'll continue his playing career and that's his biggest obstacle that's preventing many suitors from genuinely coming for his services
The English Premier League  is not just more competitive than the French Ligue 1 but it also more demanding than the French Ligue 1 and with Neymar's injury cases, it'll be difficult to sign such player whose wage is also very outrageous.

We are hearing many rumors about Neymar. But they don't seem realistic to me. PSG management wants to sell Neymar because Neymar's fitness is not good. His performance with PSG has not been good due to a lot of injuries. Neymar's chances of injury in Premier League are more. So why would any team spend so much money to sign Neymar when his future is completely uncertain? Premier League clubs are very rich but they are not stupid.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 27, 2023, 06:25:03 PM
That depends on how progress between lukaku and chelsea. I just read from gazetta if wants to sell him as soon as possible. Chelsea has been even decreasing lukaku's price so much. He is not priced almost a half from previous price.
Chelsea are a rich club but they must obey financial rules from UEFA. They are already in a watch list of UEFA and they will have to try to balance between transfer values from bought and sold players. With players who are receiving high salary and Chelsea don't have plan to use, they will try their best to sell those players and get some sort of money back. Lukaku is in their sale list, no doubt about it.
Chelsea are undoubtedly a rich team, but giving away talent is never a good thing. Of course if he has to raise cash it's another matter, if it were me I wouldn't easily give up a player like Lukaku who can make the difference in the opponents!

Chelsea's performance last season was very poor. And so they want to rebuild the team. One of the reasons for Chelsea's erratic performance was the poor bonding between the players. So Chelsea's new coach is keen to sell old players to form the team he wants. I expect Chelsea to perform better next season than last season even after selling Lukaku.
599  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 27, 2023, 03:06:13 PM
In what ways have the people living in poverty impacted in the economy?
Share your ideas on the importance of the poor masses in economy sustainability.
There's less or nothing at all of a positive impact the poor plays in the economy of any county order than been a burden to the government. The poor are there just to make the wealthy more wealthier in the sense that they are used as stooges by the rich to perpetrate certain unlawful activities.

The poor are a threat to tranquility and security in the society and that's why every government needs to tackle poverty as much as they can to beat it to it's barest minimum. Cause where there's so much poverty there bound to be increase in crime rate cause majority of these poor populace may only see crime as means to daily survival.

Not all poor people are a burden to society or will become criminals who disrupt the peace of society.  what you are saying about the poor is a bit excessive and unacceptable.  my family is also poor, but we are not people who cause harm to society, do not ask anyone for anything, no one wants to be poor to be despised by others.  I don't know if you are rich, but you despise the poor so much, they are poor, but they are still human beings like everyone else.  the poor need to be treated fairly.
You misunderstood me mate, no doubt we will always have the poor around us and by poor here I mean indigent people that add no value or whatsoever to society like beggars on the streets. You can be said to be poor but with a skill you render as service to the rich in return you earn money but when you're poor and comfortable in it then you're a threat to society cause such persons will always see crime as the only easy means of survival thereby breaching the peace.

As long as anyone can provide shelter, clothing, and food for themselves which are the basic necessities of life then they ain't in this category of poor as meant here in this thread. And to be explicit, your family are not poor neither am I against the poor.

Not only did I misunderstand you, but you can see that many people are objecting to what you say.  i don't know what you're trying to say, but blaming the poor is unfair.  I do not deny that many poor people are having a negative impact on society, but not all poor people are like that.
The rich also have a lot of bad guys, corrupt politicians, and tycoons exploiting the labor of the poor...to judge the impact of a person on the country's economy, we can't just rely on their appearance, and rich or poor is not a yardstick to judge whether people are good or bad.
600  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: June 26, 2023, 03:03:40 PM
Money is the root of all evil and that's what makes the world go round where it's the necessity to have money in order to survive in this world we lived in wherein everything has price of its own that people spend for goods, house, medical, services and much much more. Not all are blessed with much money that's why not all have the opportunities to have a good life in this earth. Nonetheless, not all money is important all the time but having a good relationships, mental health and having peace of mind is also important.

Why should say Money is the root of all evil? Meanwhile, money can also be used for any good in this world. I think it's a matter of who uses it and what one uses it for (Money), because spending on goods, housing, medical, services and others for the necessities of life is a good thing.

Especially if all those things are spent on a clear basis so that someone can continue to live comfortably in this world, so what makes me feel confused here is why do you say money is the root of all evil? Meanwhile, all the good that can be done in this world can also involve money so that it can continue to produce good things in human life.

yes, money is not the root of all evil, it is man who causes the evil, IMO.  Many people still use money for charitable purposes to help others, so money cannot be called the root of all evil.  Hhuman beings are the creators of money and control everything in this world, they use money to order others to do things that are against morality and law.  so, for me, human thoughts and behavior are the cause of evil in this world.
