Frankfurt are one of the impressive teams in this season. Because they are able to keep the Bundesliga and Champions League both in a balanced way. I wasn't waiting for them to be this much successful especially in the Champions League. Because they had really fierce opponents in the group. On paper they were all stronger teams than Frankfurt but they still managed to reach last 16 round. It was still not an easy task for them to perform good in the Bundesliga considering their performance in the previous season.
They won the Europa League title which was amazing success by them. However they couldn't show the same effort in the Bundesliga and finished the season at the 11th position. Maybe this time they will stay as one of the candidates for top 4 until the end of the season. They are very likely to be eliminated by Napoli in the Champions League so they would be able to concentrate on the Bundesliga more after that.

We're working with a new manager so things mightn't just go smoothly as we played. It's a working progress as the manager is constantly monitoring the players to see who best fit his style of play. The manager never had a preseason to train with his squad and let's not jump to judging him. We the fans want to give him time because we believe in the Chelsea spirit. First of all, I want to appreciate Newcastle United for improving so much. I honestly do not know if it was expected of them by anyone. Well, after the money started coming in I think people did expect this type of improvement. But at least I did not think that they would be in the top four positions on the table after 15 matches. And to answer the question, I think that they do rely on motivation and strategy. But at this point, I am willing to say that they have a few good enough players to back up the strategy that they are making which was probably not the case in the recent past for them.
