Thr Milan derby was an interesting game today, with the home side winning in the first half of the game and visitors winning the second half.
Olivier Giroud set the difference between the both sides, as they saw themselves as winner's of this game, with one point behind them at inter Milan.
This loss has seen their home record shattered as rock on the ground.... great three points for the least favourites.

Sevilla's game tonight against Osasuna makes me excited the most for today. Sevilla have seemed much better compared to the previous season so far. They are maintaining their claim for the La Liga title for this season. They are the second most deserving team right after Real Madrid. They are just looking for Real Madrid to make mistakes to be able to take advantage of them. Actually, they made a mistake last week against Elche but Sevilla also did the same. This time, I don't expect Sevilla to stumble.
With four points beneath la Liga leaders, Sevilla will be hoping to put up a great game this weekend/ tonight. With fourteen if there away wins, they have always bosted of a good defense till this moment. Lucas Ocampus will be hoping to e on the scoreboard today. With one points between Athletico Madrid and Barcelona, a win will see the home side go over them as they look ready to challenge for the second half of the league game's. |

Can't imagine that this defeat had to end in a very dramatic penalty shoot-out. This was a huge disappointment that Man United faced despite playing with his squad.
From ball possession and good scoring it doesn't score more goals and misses more because the players are not so consistent I've seen Rangnick don't include Cavani in this squad I don't know why he didn't appear even though if they were both Ronaldo up front maybe that's a very big change.
Reason why I think Cavani should be named in regualr squad is because I think pairing up with Ronaldo , this will give them results in attacking. In the past, they have given results when United were facing hard time while scoring. Really not sure of reason why they are cutting out Cavani's involvement. So what happens when Cavani finally gets the leave the club ? The thing was that he wasn't left out of the squad but made a plea for some day off. I still want them to get a natural attacker, same players with very poor standard's. It was much of a great game not until the opposite team ime equalized. |

^^ Ronaldo penalty was a good opportunity but it's a team game and others should have done well to score. United were good it just that the result didn't end the way they wanted. They had good possession and good amount of shots and there were some very close chances. I am still thinking about why Cavani wasn't available for this one, he should have made a great difference.
They had a good game no doubts, Ronaldo should have scored that penalty, couldn't believe Bruno Fernandez missed that chance, was shot directly to the wood work. Good to see Paul Pogba back, helping winning Manchester United their penalty. I'll gladly say the team played well, but they did miss some good chances in the game. |

Now that Barcelona have added a couple of players to their team in the person of Aubameyang from Arsenal,I think the issue of goal scoring is a little bit solved,the only problem is that Aubameyang is of age and it seems the age is showing on him because after his first and second season at Arsenal,he started flopping which is very annoying.
Aubameyang will end up winning the Europa league competition Arsenal couldn't win some years back. Barcelona will come back to there best performance, just as it's been in the good old days. Xavi knows what's best for the lads and the fans, I'm proud to be a supporter of this team. |

I think it's high time I stop watching Manchester United games, we lost this game as a result of Ronaldo not scoring the penalty.
Although we created something good but failed to score, a lot of improvement needs to be done in the goal scoring.
Taking us to the penalties and winning in the process is useless, how can Manchester United have two goalie's that can't afford to catch penalties? It's embarrassing to see such!

I agree that Roma are in a decent condition in the league right now. And they have still many games to go in this season. They still can qualify for even the Champions League by ending as the fourth team but it would be really difficult at the same time. The current fourth team in the standings are Atalanta now. And they are having another solid season also. Roma should be able to defeat Atalanta first of all and they are going to play home against Atalanta in one month. If they make it, then I would believe in Roma more to make it.
Securing the 4th position on the standings won't be an easy task for Roma. They are currently 5 points behind Atalanta, while Atalanta have an outstanding match to play. Which means they Atalanta eventually wins, that will increase their points gap from Roma to 8. Also, we should not forget that Juventus are occupying the 5th place. And they are just 1 point from the 4th position. Any slight mistake from Atalanta might result to them losing their position to Juventus. However, the League is getting more interesting. I'm vouching for Juventus to be in the top four at the end of March, they weren't looking too good in front, but with the introduction of Vlahovic they have an edge now to score as much as many goals. Can Roma get into the top four ? A whole lot of uncertainty their for them what are the possibility of them, they have to put up a strong performance by winning it drawing in other to achieve that. Atalanta might be the once to drop out of this , they be looking weak I don't see them innit. |

As for Chelsea and Man Utd, they don't really have any need to make additions because they have a solid squad - rich in all department.
It may be true for Chelsea but I'm not so sure about Man United. Their attacking players are probably good enough but I think they still need to reinforce their squad with a defensive midfielder. There were reports that they were scouting some players like Declan Rice of West Ham. Chelsea was also interested in him too. The front line and attackers doing almost perfect, but then the midfield is my own concerns. It's obvious they would be wanting a new coach soon, so in other not to get who the incoming coach doesn't have in mind, it's safe they don't even get any. I think Manchester United have more than defensive midfielder issues to solve, the left wing is too dull, Luke shaw drop in performance and not too many assist from Alex telles. |

Burkina Faso will be up against the Senegalese side, good defensively at the very beginning of the tournament Sadio Mane made a video and made mention of how he'll play in the finals and win, so I'm down for them to win Burkina Faso.
Egypt will find it hard, the host are very determined to clinch this on home soil, I'm not too sure about them winning, it's still a fifty fifty chance, what are your favourite henceforth ?

Entering week 23 of La Liga, there will be many exciting matches for sure. But of all the matches, I highlight one match that will be interesting between Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid which will be held at Camp Nou. These two teams, both have not returned to their performance. They still find it difficult to continue to be consistent. They are 4th and 5th in the standings. Atletico Madrid is only 1 point ahead of Barcelona. It looks like a draw is the result at the end of the game.
A good opportunity for Barcelona to utilize this chance and go above them in the la liga standing. I would have been saying or making prediction for Athletico Madrid to win or get a draw at least, but this is at Camp Nou.. they have no giid chance to win Barcelona at home. With current improvement in the team they'll hurt Athletico Madrid with attacks, the opposing defender's should be ready. |

Lampard is set to become new manager of Everton. More than a year since he was sacked as Chelsea manager and now he is set to sail his new jorney as Toffees manager now. Everton have great players and they have got a good and a strict manager here. Lampard probably might wanna go easy on the players now as his previous ways of disciplining players of Chelsea players went wrong and he didn't used the players right when he was at Chelsea. Hope he pulls back Everton back into PL race and probably help them finish better.
This is the perfect job for him not to be a Coach of Chelsea football club, I think there was much a rush to that,good thing he is more experience now. I'm seeing him taking back to winning ways, at least they won't be relegated at the end of the season. Liverpool seem to be comfortable for the coming three weeks in the league. They should be able to win these games and get ready for the tougher opponents. Because they have really difficult games after these ones like Arsenal, West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City nearly all of them being consecutively. Liverpool still have a chance for the title but they must come out of this tough period superbly. Otherwise, they will say goodbye to this chance and Manchester City would announce their title earlier.
Liverpool are a good team this season and I think they can go on and challenge Manchester city is they tend to loose or draw a game, liverpool can make the gap closer and put pressure on city. But we all know how city can be so good and they might win the remaining games of the season. You see Liverpool challenging Manchester City ? No I don't agree, Chelsea are better challenger's. Good to see they are in a better shape than some weeks ago were you see how they drew games they was suppose to win. Defending still I shape, Kanye's back but not at his best already, kovacic and Jorginho doing just good, they just have to see the frontier doing their jobs.... Lukaku should better start scoring else he'll get kicked out....hard times comes, this is the best time to fight and put up a decent performance. |

why are they putting barcelona as a favorite? barcelona has a better chance of drawing in this game, so I do not see barcelona as a favorite in this game in my opinion, looking at barcelona that manages to draw with small teams then game against Atletico will be another draw
With there current signatures it shows they can do better in a short time... I have no issues with them they have the perfect manager at the right time but it won't be bad if they get a new defender. Gerrard Pique needs to sit on the bench for me, field Arawujo and someone else and see a good transformation in the defense. I'm having a good feeling they'll be Champions of the Europa league competition, same was won by Pep Guardiola in his early days at Barcelona. |

Entering the top four Manchester United is a good one in the month of January.
Routine wins will make them stay up there for a long period of time, I don't know if they're sure making a move for Ruben neves.
I really do want to see them go down, A big Applause to Ralhf Rangnick for putting up a great mentality in the team, if we can continue seeing Harry Maguire on the bench, lindelof's a good passer of the ball and should have more game time.
