Maybe too early to draw conclusions, but Xavi makes a much better impression on me than Koeman.
If we compare Xavi and Koeman, no doubt that Xavi has done a much better job. At least, Xavi builds again Barcelona characteristics by using tiki-taka, dominating the ball possessions, and aggressively attacking. It was very different than the play of style used by Koeman. He prefers to instruct Barcelona players to leave tiki-taka strategy, and play almost like a Netherland team. I've been looking forward to this performance for a while! It's been a while since we watched a Barcelona match like this! I pray that the glory of those days will return! Thanks to the team and to Xavi's management. With Barcelona's signing of worthy players, their performance will gradually improve, and Xavi will make a better impression than Koeman. Keeping Serjio Busquet, Gerrard Pique, and the return of Dani Alves, seeing all of this got me saying, they're gonna do excellently great. Although Barcelona had conceded to many goals since his appointment as manager.. No doubts about Xavi Hernandez, knew he was Gon bring the best back to Barcelona. Today's Wolverhampton - Arsenal match promises to be very interesting. Both teams are in great shape and will probably be fighting for promotion to the cups this season. Southampton beat Tottenham 3-2. And they deserve this win. The start of the season was not a good one for Tottenham. Kane was not in form. However, he has performed well in many matches. At the same time Son has been playing consistently well. But recently it seems they have lost form again. They have lost the last two matches and the performance was very poor. Southampton made a total of 23 shots, while Tottenham made just 8. Tottenham should now look for new attacking midfielder. They need more experienced players.
Becoming a Coach at Tottenham can be very tiring, transforming that team will take loads of work. Before this thread gets locked, let's take some time out to reflect and evaluate the successes and flaws of this years AFCON hosted by Cameroon. Do you see the just concluded AFCON as a huge improvement from the others we have seen? in what ways to you think the tournament can be made better before it is hosted again for the second time by Ivory Coast in June 2023?
Honestly, this year tournament is this best ever of all . Their is an improvement that is why many people followed it up. The performance of some teams like Nigeria, Egypt, Cameron, Senegal was interesting and it impressive. This drew the attentions of fans to follow up the AFCON tournament to see who the winner will be. Nigeria's performance at the beginning of the game was quite outstanding, but how they fell off the game was also very disheartening, normally, am not really into football but how we were able to win the first few games was what picked my interest initially, but anyways, It was a nice game, atleast, for the few I watched, looking forward to 2023 and hoping the teams that didn't perform well this year will go back to their drawing board, put hands together and perform better next year. Nigeria had poor game management in the game against Tunisia. Yeah, they had a nice group stage performance winning all three but, they failed to do so against Tunisia. Games like that opportunity and chances shouldn't be taken for granted, Ghana as well , was a big blow for them go go out of the competition. |

If you are talking about formation then I think it will be the same 4-2-3-1 that quite worked well for them in the past 2 games. It looks like they're better defensively now but De Gea needs to be in top shape always. With the 4-3-2-1 formation I think they are going to tear Burnley apart. This can only happen if Burnley doesn't defends and comes out to attack Manchester United. They did play good, they should give Paul Pogba mlre of the ball and more side runs should be made by Ronaldo, Rashford and Sancho. |

Have got no much idea about Russians and Ukraine, but then the world will always be a defer place if we can just let go of the past and embrace peace.
