582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 07, 2021, 11:49:14 PM
Will the Bitcoin network die?

First, it is impossible because everything that is already on the blockchain will forever be on the internet and there is no authority that can remove it, 100 years later maybe all of us in this era will no longer exist, but you know there will always be a better new generation later . if you think in the future crypto will not evolve or even die. I actually think otherwise, because digital developments will always evolve and new generations will always have a much more modern and digital mindset.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 07, 2021, 11:44:49 PM
People are expecting more. while not all projects have the capability to do that, and when the project they invested fails , stuck and corrupt nobody can save his assets . and the worst possibility he falls to scam project ( its already lost in the first place ) that's why I don't like investing in new coins, even though there are many stories that give big profits for become early investor but the worst possibility is also much bigger. I'm still on coin2 that already exists on market and and has a large community.

584  Economy / Economics / Re: African regulators warn cryptocurrencies may not be legitimate on: July 07, 2021, 11:38:16 PM
Plus there is news of exchange hacks from local exchange services in their country (africa). its make more strong regulator's statement. It must be admitted that ensuring a state institution for new things to be adapted in their country is not an easy thing, in fact this also happened in my country.
in my country allowing storing and making investment assets with some specific crypto and strictly prohibits completely as payments.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if influential people buy Bitcoin back and forth? on: July 07, 2021, 11:34:22 PM
If many influential/giant whales post messages expressing support for Bitcoin, or expressing that they have purchased Bitcoin, will they promote market changes?

they must explain clearly without being covered from the risks and disadvantages of this crypto investment. Don't just explain good things and give them instant rich dreams. Everything has a risk and people have to understand that first. I think for people who are used to seeing the crypto market they should be able to analyze the worst possibility and whether he can be in this field.

586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB has tokens for each Altcoin on: July 07, 2021, 11:29:13 PM
It's called wrapped tokens.

But, if you want to keep the real altcoin or real Bitcoin you will need to exchange it for something without the "W".
I think they use this method to prevent failure of providing with that certain coin/token especially if there is a low total supply.

Lower fees and transaction time is fast because you are just using the Binance chain in this example.

Thanks for the clear explanation. Previously I thought (wrapped) coin is a kind of hard fork coin. so wrapped is a kind of temporary alternative for some coins ? I think this is actually good because it makes it easier to turn BSC and ETH transactions to other coins with a minimum fee on BSC.

587  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: July 07, 2021, 11:23:10 PM
These Cajee brothers were just 20 and 17 year old kids. While they may have struck the proverbial goldmine with the exchange, it could wholly be possible that they themselves are a victim of the 5-dollar wrench attack.

The excuse for not investigating is also pretty weak. It has already been a few days and will be impossible to track if something untoward has happened to them. Watch for those proceeds ending up in some politician or powerful policeman's Swiss bank stash.

Never knew this before. risks that cannot be avoided and feared by all crypto traders. loss money because other people certainly unacceptable. and with a nominal of that size, I assume they are already big in their country? honestly i never heard that exchange name before. hope african friend there will get the best solution for their assets.

are they not even clarification or make press conference for that case ?
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Mining Cause Global Warming? on: July 04, 2021, 11:49:24 PM
I heard this opinion in some news like this https://www.forbes.com/sites/jonathanponciano/2021/03/09/bill-gates-bitcoin-crypto-climate-change/ bill gates said bitcoin because its using electricity per transaction and its non stop everywhere in the world . honestly crypto miner are minority in this world. and.  what if become majority in this world is mining ? that would be possible what he siad.  I think that statement is true but there must be many ways to prevent global warming.

589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still the favorite choice on: July 04, 2021, 11:40:15 PM
There are many reasons why bitcoin will always be main coin in market. bictcoin pioneer in crypto. had a large and strong community.  had possibility of higher prices than today, although there are many new coins with better features but I don't think anyone will be able to surpass bitcoin. and also many altcoin and project also depending on bitcoin.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do we confirm the long term aspect of a project is guaranteed? on: July 04, 2021, 11:34:52 PM
Everyone use to shout and claim that bitcoin and ethereum are the coin of the future. YEAH I accepted that with no arguments.  Bitcoin is classify as a store of value. the same way we classify Gold.
My question is, AT WHAT POINT OR DAY DO WE SAY THAT THE LONG TERM ASPECT OF BITCOIN HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISH?
When do a long term project becomes successful?

this depends on the project. many projects have good plans and roadmaps but are not successful even the coins have no value. I think there are many aspects that support a successful coin. like the developer. adaptation carried out, partnering with exchange. These things definitely require big capital. if the project is handled by a great developer with a large capital it is very likely to be successful.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: (HELP) - Which are the most friendly countries for a crypto startup? on: July 04, 2021, 10:59:12 PM
El Salvador, I saw in some of articles and thread. this country provides a perma resident opportunity for entrepreneurs who are doing business in the crypto field, and it seems that the regulations there are clearly allowed in their country. maybe there are some special conditions, what type buissiness or startup that allowed there . but this country is lately often referred to as country that supporting crypto.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Important Factors while joining a new Casino on: July 03, 2021, 09:35:02 PM
What's the must thing you consider while joining a new casino? These days there are a lot of casinos and gambling sites which offer some good promotional reward which can be a good option for the regular gamblers. But joining a new casino or gambling site is huge risky as you may get scammed at the end of the day. So, what are the factors you look at when you want to try a new casino?

Many deposit options and easy to register . instant withdraw . have a smooth website with a pleasing appearance. and had many option game that I like, maybe there will be a plus if there is troll chat on the website, so it's not too boring. another plus point if that website provide a special regional chat. so it's not too stressful if gambling doesn't go well.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: July 03, 2021, 09:13:22 PM
I know that we won't bring our money to our grave in the end. But it doesn't mean that we should spend continuously rather than accumulating a lot. We shouldn't only think about ourselves. We should think about our future kids too. Even if we die, we can bequeath our savings to our kids and help them have a better life.

you had good point here . when people are young they had highly motivated to become successful and rich, and when become older and maturity he wants provides happiness for his family and children . Rich or poor people always have a desire to provide the best for their families. wealth is not for yourself, share with family and others in need. thats why some rich people are not scared for doing big charity, they know money its not real happiness in this life.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where can I find a fair payout and gambling site? on: July 03, 2021, 08:35:20 PM
Good day! What kind of gambling games would you like to play?
I like playing similar game to blackjack

Quote

Evolution Gaming provide live betting, they had blackjack . lightning roulette. and most online casinos are currently partnering with this evolution, I think you can go with any trusted casino websites you can find it in this forum. i prefer choose one that has a deposit and withdrawal option with a low fee and with many bonus. such waggering bonus, rakeback daily , weekly. etc
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying other cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: July 03, 2021, 08:28:34 PM
I heard about Bitcoin and ethereum around the same time. Bitcoin was I believe around $15k and ETH was below $200. I couldn't afford to buy 1btc so I didn't buy any and I didn't buy ethereum because I believed Bitcoin was the only genuine crypto currency to buy. But since my discovery of this forum I have found members who believe different. Looking back I see I have lost on both fronts and wasted an opportunity. So my question is this which is more important factor to consider before buying a coin, do you buy because of the technology of the project and what it has to offer, the utility of the token or the news?

Ethereum is not an ordinary coin. many projects under ethereum smart contract . and also BSC also related to ethereum smart contract. For me if the plan was going to hold for a long time then i choose coin that will impact many projects or many aspects. at least the coin does have an impact on many people. there is few coin that have their own smart contract . such polkadot . ada . eos .
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 03, 2021, 08:22:17 PM
everything is full of risks, but you have to have big capital if you want to get big profits in storing meme token assets, but for me it's better to find a safe point by investing in coins that have really good value in the market.

Yeah people should treat crypto investment like a conventional investment, we must know what purpose of the project in the future. and how about investing in meme coin? what is the future goal for the coin ?mostly no purpose and this type coin just follow what is the current trend on crypto community. me personally not really interested in coins like this.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: July 02, 2021, 11:59:23 PM
^^ Like that title says. I want to know more about what you guys in Altcoin Discussion think about NFTs?

Do you have any overall thoughts or even any NFT projects you like? lmk

Similiarty NFT are like ICO and im not fan of it. NFT are great for many artist to get more extra income and appreciation for what they make such picture . painting . video . etc but personally i dont really think investing in some NFT stuff will make a good profit. I might be wrong but i just still dont really trust concept like that.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The point of Dogecoin. on: July 02, 2021, 11:58:17 PM
Is there really any points of dogecoin other than to meme it and use it as a pump and dump?

I've been a Doge Coin user for a long time because at that time you can had many doge coin and its so fun for using it for gambling and the fees are very small. and I think the point of doge coin is this coin a meme coin for bitcoin community. But after Elon Musk come and start supporting that coin . its become like what you think. and many I think this coin is dangerous if your goal is long-term investment. because its no real purpose at all. just for meme for community at that time.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: July 02, 2021, 11:52:41 PM
P.S: with "good profits" I don't mean bullshit like 10x, 100x and "to the moon", (obviously everyone has a different conception of "good profits"), but a decent amount of money that allows me to make an accumulation plan, would be great to see other people's experience.

Sometimes projects that we think are good and will be successful are not always what we imagine. dont talk about profit yet. some of ICO had no value at all . many  people also lose with investments like this. do your own research about that ico before invest . they can promise you anything just dont trust anything they claim.

600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still okay to fake kyc in 2021? on: July 02, 2021, 11:47:20 PM
I’m sort of new to the scene but I’ve noticed how much money there is to be made in IDO’s. The problem of course is that almost all requires kyc and doesn’t except USA people. I read previous posts about this but the last was in 2018. So I’m wondering if anyone can provide their opinion on this... thanks 🙏😁😇😂
Also, if anyone could give me advice on the best way to go about this it would be very much appreciated!
Thanks 😊

If you think the project will be a successful , why scared of doing KYC? KYC is usefull if one day there will be problems and you are asked for your identity and that will help you . also the risk for doing fake kyc is you might be loss opportunity if they issue that data. if, I would definitely think twice for doing it. better do it honestly or not at all.
