581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sacrifice privacy for Ease of Use and better features than Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2016, 10:16:22 PM
Wait what ? The main reason why I deal with bitcoins is because of its privacy/anonymity .

So, NO ! I wouldn't sacrifice that.

PLUS bitcoins is already easy and GUI-supported. There is nearly nothing wrong with it except for the time for the transactions to be confirmed but that isn't that painful either.
explicitly, enough to say, as some of the use(s) of bitcoin must be used anonymously as in the darknet. there are no way for them to sacrifice their identity. one of why bitcoin was created was not to allow arbitrary limits
582  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: WARNING: Blockchain.info spoof in google sponsored results!! on: September 30, 2016, 08:09:34 AM
IIRC you might have to consider to make this thread in the scam accusations, because this involves scamming alert. Huh
did you make a report about that phishing site, so google can take action to such?
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: September 29, 2016, 11:50:37 AM
redevelop a bitcoin-like currency to heir what bitcoin had ever made for good, so the new currency would setup a meseum about early days of bitcoins. Tongue

See that's progressive thinking unlike some of the other posters

Agree! Cheesy Sort of good and best answer in this thread Cheesy Positives sides or ideas will come up and it will cheer up us as a reader, bitcoin earner and user of bitcoins Cheesy Great idea Cheesy

As my self im holding to your "If" so it wont happen Cheesy  If bitcoin will stay forever? Cheesy i dont think that it will be dead tomorrow .
lmao, evwn bitcoin would be dead, would not be within a day, because we would still have a lot of altcoins, at least that won't let the user(s) of bitcoin down if they were with bells on to use the altcoin.

585  Other / Meta / Re: How many high rank members are still active today? on: September 28, 2016, 02:50:01 PM
I agree that legendary is nothing special these days (was it ever, though?). Most of the really old accounts stopped posting a while back

Time for a new rank?

admin at 1500  Cool

Quote
and most of the active legendaries are from 2013.

Yeah!
admin cyrus is not yet in activity 1500, then shouldn't he lose his position? lol that's unfair that anyone would be able to be an admin, how ridiculous.
586  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: September 28, 2016, 01:56:45 PM
Any big win on MoneyPot apps last hours? My  investiment profit had a substantial drop in last few hours  .

A user recently won 10 BTC on Bit-Exo

congrats to the winner Smiley

my question for hopenotlate if 10 btc is a big win?

Considering MoneyPot bankroll is around 1070 BTC that  10BTC win on EXO caused a 1% decrease on MP bankroll and therefore on investors profit (if I'm not wrong on how investments work on MP).

So I'd answer yes: 10BTC is quite a big win from am investor point of view and it would be a beautiful win from a player point of view.

I'd like very much a 10BTC win if it's what you meant.   Wink

sure thing that I wish you to win 10 BTC Smiley

but if an investor thinks that 10 BTC loss is a lot then he should not invest in a casino Bank Roll

most of the people who have ever invested anything knows the risks, if they don't , they will learn it by losses and gains; anyway i would believe that they won't be panic with that loss.
587  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help a 24 year old college freshman decide what to major. on: September 28, 2016, 12:59:40 PM
viet, you better gotta enroll in Taiwanese Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, after getting a degree in computer engineering, then programming; IMO you can have a high wage and even be able to participate in Apple's system on a chip and then make the buyers of iPhone speechless as you created a great chip as a 'junior developer' . Smiley

in a nutshell: go all in computer engineering and go TSMC.
588  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: aAverage earning of Full members and senior members per month from bitcointalk on: September 28, 2016, 12:44:09 PM
It's easy enough to figure out by checking the signature campaign thread. Multiply the pay per posts by the max posts paid for. My campaign coughs up 0.14 BTC a month if I post enough. There are higher paying ones but I'd rather stick with something solid.
+1 in potential, in some of the signature campaigns, do not limit you from posting that will reward, but there is a rule that is explicitly forbids: the spamming.
589  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need a Good VPN on: September 26, 2016, 11:38:06 AM
for me, i would recommend www.vpngate.net for free VPN. however, unless you need to over the gfw, i would not recommend using so, because creating account under a VPN will have to pay bitcoins to verify.

disclaimer: it worked for me perfectly when i was in Guangzhou, there are no virus in the link as i had tried.
590  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info down? on: September 26, 2016, 11:22:31 AM
I can visit the site but

the period of how long you have waited? seems you could be just for a few seconds and then groan about the latency. due to security improvements, blockchain is often down.
591  Other / Meta / Re: Changed password? BAN! on: September 24, 2016, 01:22:16 AM
there was a bug in security question, to as well preventing hackers from getting information easily, that method is not allowed. if anyone still knows that announcement is pinned.
592  Other / Off-topic / a concept of a GPU based on ARM cores. on: September 24, 2016, 01:16:30 AM
anyone? seemingly that the cortex A73 is not costing more than .7 watts at 2.8 gigahertz. in that case, if we cram a processor into a 256 core one with that or sort of, then that would very likely with 2-times performance of a GTX 1080. as well, A73 is just .65mm2.

idk if ARM CPU could become a great GPU for hyper performance, at a lower cost. Huh ideas?
593  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Scammed By Kraken ? I am confused. on: September 24, 2016, 01:09:30 AM
i would believe that this should be in the sort of service discussion session, as you are talking about matter of scamming. Huh

Yea, I did not know where to post that.

If a mod feel like it should be moved out, it will happen soon enough.
move yourself, using the move topic feature, located around the bottom of the page, so moderators do not get annoyed too much.

595  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: September 21, 2016, 01:17:43 PM

For sure  if   the pizza guy would able  to manage his bitcoin then it would surely affect the bitcoins price movement but  sad to say that was before in the past which is  somehow a very regretting  situation.  Manipulating price  or moving bitcoins price would  definitely  need huge amounts of bitcoin to be sold or  to be  bought,

If we take that BTC10,000 today and someone dumped it, yes it will move the price down but not that much since I noticed that reaching the correction price today is more resistable with the support of the commonuity.

Today's situation is different from the past where manipulation is just an easy task. There are many big whales today that has different aspects on how they will move their coins.
Well yeah right  the price of bitcooin is always depends in the demand and supply the more people who are selling their bitcoin the more the price will decrease or even one person if he or she are holding a lots of bitcoin he can change the value of bitcoin buying bitcoin can change the price into high value and selling bitcoin can change the value below the present price.

That though will take a lot of risk. If I am the one holding a lot of bitcoin I will have a question to myself. What if suddenly it went up while I sold it all out. It will be a waste of bitcoin and capital. So the proper would be talking to other whales and do it simultaneously.
that's why you won't ever be able to predict, unless you just sold part of 'a lot', instead of all.
if you sell your bitcoin, unless you are urgently in need of that, it would be lead you to jelly. you should balance the bitcoin anr the fiat to get the bitcoin stronger, after all the bitcoin is valued because of fiat.
596  Other / Off-topic / Re: Negative price on: September 19, 2016, 04:36:18 AM
lolol! there are not even a possibility of having negative price, since you would still have to pay the commission.
unless the world is upside down.
597  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 17, 2016, 02:26:25 AM
not that popular in hong kong, as most of them remain considering bitcoin as a scam. though there are small-banknote (accepts any banknotes like HKD$10) friendly bitcoin ATMs.

i am a member of bitcoin association of hong kong (member of the lowest in age) , i am responsible to promote bitcoin. local incorporations are inspired with blockchains though.
598  Other / Meta / Re: My account Letyouearn got hacked . on: September 13, 2016, 10:42:41 PM

599  Other / Off-topic / Re: In intelligence, where would you place yourself? on: September 11, 2016, 02:20:50 PM
student as i am still of that. lol.
so why don’t you make a vote to make what you need in data easier?
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FACT CHECK: Bitcoin Blockchain will be 700GB in 4 Years on: September 10, 2016, 08:28:46 AM
bitcoin core to double the size of blockchain in 2017 IIRC, that's why the bitcoin blockchain is gonna be more than ever. how horrible if we cannot expand what our capacity has/have.

at least a micro SD card does a 256GB.
