Yeah I did I realised right away but because the client was still beta with problems, I couldn't change it!

EDIT: V.important people if you do want to try this use a sentence not just a word. That's all that's needed for the access to your whole account.
Weak pwds are not clever thing to do in any case, software issues are irrelevant.

No they're not, as If i could have changed it i.e. set up new wallet to send coins to I would have. Software issues were the fault and it's why projects that value themselves at launch for 13m usd shouldn't skip beta testing or people get burned.

It's true the project is early in its development stage, but it didn't value itself at that price, the market did.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India = massive potential on: December 05, 2013, 07:27:20 PM
Buttercoin is set to launch in India by February 2014, that should help open up India to BTC pretty nicely.

The admin of CEX.IO has replied to me via email and said they will add DVC/BTC trading when enough people have requested it.

To get DVC/BTC trading on CEX.IO (which is an exchange which has pretty high volume) please complete the following steps:

1.) register for http://cex.io

2.) Go to this link https://support.cex.io/entries/28554767-Convert-NMC-IXC-DVC-to-BTC

3.) Click vote for this feature

4.) You can also submit a support ticket requesting they add DVC/BTC trading asap!

Done, I also commented.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America covers Bitcoin - 1300$ fair price, potential for growth on: December 05, 2013, 02:31:28 PM
They clearly don't understand bitcoin is far more than a currency/store of value/financial instrument, it is a protocol that will revolutionise dozens of industries. It's like the next layer of the Internet. This is a massive undervaluation.

There's coloured coins which is being developed which will allow for a completely secure decentralised stock exchange and that will be a brilliant way to equity crowd-fund any project, ranging from a blog, an art project to a business or social venture.

Then there's a ton of other things, this video gives a few really good ideas of what it could be used for but I've seen all sorts of other things too: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1rsm4r/stefan_molyneux_explains_why_bitcoin_may_be_the/

589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IPO musical projects? on: December 05, 2013, 12:50:05 PM
I don't think you can do it yet, you'll have to wait until Coloured coins is launched.  As far as I know it's still being developed.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic, China is NOT banning bitcoin on: December 05, 2013, 12:22:02 PM
However, general public may trade bitcoin on the internet by taking their own risk.
How is that not uber-bullish?

Because if merchants aren't allowed to accept it as currency then that is a major blow for bitcoin adoption in China.  However it's not clear to me if that is the case.
Who said merchants were not allowed to accept it as currency?

From the 'human translation' on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1s5hzl/my_human_translation_of_the_china_regulation/

"Bitcoin is a specified virtual commodity, it does not have equal legal status with money, and it cannot and should not be used as money on the market."  That could be interpreted to mean that any Chinese business should not treat bitcoin as money i.e. not accept it as payment like they would if it were a currency.

So can ordinary businesses (not banks) accept bitcoin as payment in China?  It looks like they can't from the translation.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] Selling NXT @ 0.00005 BTC on: December 03, 2013, 08:47:18 PM
Give it a few days and this will become a reasonable offer probably.

According to dgex exchange 2btc...

EDIT: Someone just sold @0.000012
EDIT2: Someone just bought @0.00002 again

 Tongue

We've reached 20BTC per million, someone bought 50k for 1 BTC.

We do already have http://nextcoin.org/, isn't it better to keep everyone on one forum?

Before going to sleep:
I will sell up to 1M Nxt @0.00008 btc per Nxt (that is 8 BTC for 1M Nxt)
Just be warned that this offer is available for today and at any case you should check and make it final with me before sending any btc!
So you mistake with there should be one 0 more after dot.

Nope, check the prices on dgex.com, this is actually below the market price.

No he's not complaining bybitcoin literally has missed a 0 after the dot should be 0.000008

Oh, sorry, my mistake.

What is the current 1M Nxt price rate atm? Too busy with the client, 2 or 3 guys pm d me asking to buy some Nxt.
When the sending issue is resolved and I've already sent the previously bought Nxt, I may post a new 1M Nxt sell offer.

10 BTC for 1M NXT

I have just recalled BCNext said he would eat his hat if Nxt market cap didn't reach... how much in dollars did he say?

This is a pretty big rise in price, but by the time its all working with the coloured coins and easy-install wallets and the distributed exchange another 10x price rise seems likely, if not 20x.  The demand is through the roof, I've been getting a few Pms a day asking for me to sell them Nxt and the forum at nextcoin.org is looking very healthy.  There's just a ton of development work to do.  It's looking good! Smiley
