Now that NRS is functional and established, i would like to move NRB to mom PoW/PoS as well, the mining period will be short. your existing NRB will be absorbed and scaled, representing a third of the chain, the other third goes to NG and the last shall be mined out over  6 months. Once this is complete we move to PoS system, and after reading the VelPoS paper i am inclined to think of it as a most suitable candidate. The NG team will be on call anytime you need information.

What is the idea behind a pool and why are implementations trying to move away from being resource heavy and why are centralized solutions such as pool mining against the very score of distributed systems?


I do not dev pools but i can tell you a determined ddos attack is not easy to stop or mitigate. if you really are worrried about the coin then switch to solo like the rest of us while we faithfully wait for pool devs to figure it out.

I'll propose this solution, pool owners, run multiple instances of your pool code on multiple servers and just number your pools, maybe 5 instances each will greatly improve the situation and help wth decentralization as well as connection issues if you pick good locations for your servers.

Quick fix I should mention for those with multiple new miners and one or two don't work, 1) make sure everything is securely connected then try swapping the memory cards. You can even use one from previous batch. Worked for me.
