This is a pretty big advertising campaign - Akiba is in the center of Tokyo and Akiba UDX/Radio Kaikan are two large shopping areas right in front of Akihabara Station. It's one of the most visited places by tourists as well. good info, coin is bouncing back already and Japan wakes up in a couple of hours. I dont see it as a pump either its just supply and demand. So MonaCoin already went to $4 from $0.40 in the last few days because its now on japans biggest exchange so all japan whales are buying in. Also its the bitcoin of japan so not depending on US/China-Governments. Plus its a technology leader, was first coin to bring segwit.
The devs are workaholics and MonaCoin is a top5 coin within the next 12 months, if Governments like US and China shut down Bitcoin and Cryptos, MonaCoin will get to 1 Million each. HODL!
Governments won't shut down Bitcoin... Even if they wanted to they wouldn't be capable of pulling it off anymore. Based on the chart the coin looks heavily artificially pumped too. Not to mention that your claims are just flatout ludicrous. I'll be happy to stand corrected, but there's no indicator for any sudden increase in value of this coin (which has been flat for years). I agree, Bitcoin network is to big now to try to shut down. To big to fail. I do think that some countries like Japan has done will start adopting their own Crypto version indicative to them as a country. I've heard of an crypto for India named after an ancient god of wealth I believe that's supposed to ICO soon. Japan is already accepting Bitcoin in its largest consumer retail stores. And Estonia is creating its own national crypto too. cool, will be interesting to watch how they develop. Japan seems to be leading the way as far as social and government acceptance. I invested a little. I think Monacoin will be worth more. It is said to be actively used in Japan and the volume of the Japanese exchanges is very high.

I should of bought a roll back in the spring. I only bought 10 and gave six of those away to friends and family  I still might get a roll if my crypto investments keep doing well.. good luck ! |

Since the addition of Bitflyer and the crypto pair MONA/JPY being adding to another exchange recently MONA has had a 10 x increase in price @ $5 a coin and moved up to #5 in overall $$ volume. want to speculate on the effect of an economy as large as Japan's having a opens arms approach to a crypto specifically MONA ?  |

I was able to contact the maker/supplier.... They are sending me a sample to test their shipping, as they have not sent internationally before. This is great news. The coin deserves it. It has been a technology leader too (first to actviate segwit). Plus its not dependant on CHINA or USA government at all. I think this is one of the best coins to HODL, if the dev teams keeps doing a great job what I expect them to do, this can go to top5 and higher.

Dude, no. How can you be this wrong here? Zaif was originally a MONA-BTC exchange called etwings since 2014 (renamed to Zaif in 2015 - https://corp.zaif.jp/info/1/). It's always had MONA since its inception and is currently the largest, in volume, exchange for MONA-JPY. BitFlyer added MONA-JPY 10 days ago, on the 2nd of October. NOT TODAY.
