5801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money or virtual currency? on: June 05, 2018, 10:09:46 PM
Hello friends.
I have a problem to share.
My country is average. They are too familiar with outdated and old technologies.
In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency. BTC does not bring anything to life. They just think Bitcoin investment is gambling, chance, black red.
Why?
Why do not they look at Bitcoin, ETH or blockchain technology for the present.
Blockchain minimizes transportation costs, intermediates and risks.
Personally, I always try to absorb and learn nonstop.
And you? How is your country?

Isn't it these two the same? Digital currency and Virtual currency are both the same they do differ in the terms but I am not so certain but as far as I understand the concept I therefore conclude that these two are both the same. They play roles that are both the same and it is being a money in a different world which we called digital world or virtual world where technology exist. On the other hand, these both things are both functioning as a money so, they are really the same.
You are right, i dont see the difference between digital money or virtual currency yet both things do exist online but if you dig deeper or look close you would able to differentiate them when we do talk about digital money it is mostly related in fiat where we can make transactions like we are doing on ATM and online banking purchases. If we do talk about virtual money these can collaborate into more transactions since it can be applied thru other aspects like online games or credits which digital fiat can be converted into those virutal coins which are really applicable into such program.
5802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BE CAREFUL FOR THIS ADDRESS AS THIEF!! Is there any way to fight them? on: June 05, 2018, 09:25:53 PM
You can't limit a hackers move by just sharing the address, what you must do is being more careful next time.

You might logged in to a phishing link and you included your private keys there. These hackers will never do good if their sole intention is to steal the funds of others. That hacker will never stop as long as there are people who are falling in his trap.
Theres nothing we can do once those tokens is being stolen from your wallet the thing on here i do observed that he do still deposit another altcoin into his own Eth wallet with seeing those withdrawal unless if he didnt check out the current situation of tx history of his own wallet then he might just expecting those coins are still inside and now its all lost and we cant revert it back. Common issues with common reasons which is being phished or having an infected computer or pc with keylogger which would expose the privatekeys. Once compromised or known then you can do anything about it but to move on and create another new wallet.
Why would he use his Eth wallet that has been abducted by the hacker/s already? you're throwing off your money to that wallet.

It's easy to create your new wallet and just get rid of that ethereum wallet and never deposit any amount of eth or any tokens there. You just have to learn from this mistake and never forget that don't trust anyone with your funds or private keys.

As i have said earlier he might not able to check out his wallet first regarding on recent transactions or history and expecting his coins are still in intact and continues to deposit another altcoins and now later on he recognized or found out that he lost it all. Creating wallet doesnt really cost a leg, once you had any suspicion that it is already compromised then better to create another one.

Angry Angry Angry Angry
Holy Smokes! thanks for letting everyone know. I very cautious about giving my wallet address any how. Especially for the alto bounties. After I read the contents and I feel that the company offering the bounty or the ICO is not legit, I usually don't even bother. You can mine or get paid some where else. There are other places you can make money. hehe
Giving out your public address doesnt really give you any hard which it is commonly required or been asked if you are being paid out or make such transfers. The important thing to be kept is the keys of that wallet. Ensure it to be safe away from other peoples awareness. If you dont like to be hacked or lose up tokens then keep these keys carefully.
5803  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: June 05, 2018, 08:53:46 PM
Why would you think not? Just seeing the avatar of members here make me want to check the ICO project when I'm roaming around the forum. It is just the same concept of ads in Youtube and FB that gives exposure to products.
Yes,exactly the same concept but here is more concentrated because here we have only the people who related to the crypto currency so chance of getting investors is more in the signature campaign promotion but this is not the only campaign which involves in promotions the other bounties like social media, youtube and others are also included in all bounties so which increases the chance of reach into more.
This is the thing on where most companies are looking for where they do always preferred into those places on where crypto-related traffic is rampant or huge in numbers. Youtube and FB might really have more than users but when it comes to specific audience they do really lack out thats why this forum do suits it all when it comes to advertising and people on here are not totally just joining up or looking out for money but there are lots of investors lurking in this forum thats why its really effective but not all the times for some companies.
5804  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-05] Bitcoin Core Dev: BTC Source Code Should Be Removed from GitHub on: June 05, 2018, 08:14:27 PM
I would like to see it happen today rather than tomorrow, but how realistic is a quick move away from Github? Is there any sort of consensus mechanism within the Bitcoin Core team that should do its work before a move happens? People quite often think that it's just a matter of switching platforms, but there are so many variables that have to be taken into consideration, that it might take a while. I read that there isn't (yet) much of a hurry to move away in the very short term. It's definitely a shock that we have to go through this, but it happened -- we can't change the past, but we can change the future, and that in a more decentralized way.
Since they do made such move im sure they are already aware on the things that might happen later on and as being said there would be lots of things or factors should really take into consideration.Such migration or changes would really nees time but im still glad on what they are trying to do here.Even i didnt expect for MS to made such move and now BTC devs are making their evacuation which i do see a right thing to be done.
5805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How important is customer support of an online casino for you ? on: June 05, 2018, 07:36:49 PM
In most scenario a customer normally contacts a casino's live chat or sends an email because his withdrawal is pending for a long time. There might be very few players who contact them for anything other than withdrawals
I feel instead of having a 24X7 live chat casinos should remove kyc as it shouldn't exist in the first and allow instant withdrawals for all players
Seconded with these words, 24x7 live support is appealing but high percentage people would  ask neither into their deposit or withdrawal issues but having a responsive support would always leave positive impressions towards the site yet you can able to get active reply from them whenever what are the issues you are experiencing on. KYC should be removed? its still on their jurisdiction, even though we dont like it but there are circumstances that we would really need to follow up.
Ok we might not lile it but why do most casino still ask for kyc as most of them have a fake license so it wouldn't make any sense to do so
Alright I'll agree with you for a while let's assume fj has a really licence and they are registered, monitored etc etc then why do they normally take 3 months to verify all documents, they have live chat but still it's of no use as we always have to email them
Well, each gambling site do really have their own flaws or problems and we cant really expect a "PERFECT gambling site" which do exist on this market without any having issues in all aspects either on their service, support and other related stuff. If they do make some delays in the past maybe they would took into consideration on changing it out to straighten up on what they have done before either it would be more faster this time to make verifications.  Wink
5806  Economy / Securities / Re: Cannabis Investment on: June 04, 2018, 11:03:38 PM
Unique idea indeed but we do all know that cannabis is illegal in most part of the world which means if you do invest then you would really need to go there

Why would you need go there if you can send your payment thru crypto?
Is there also a law that prohibits cannabis investments from other countries?

and as i have said earlier this would be not suited on all cases which if an investor do involve into this thing and find out by the government then he do still have the risk on getting imprisoned. This would be good only to take part when you do reside into that place.

AFAIK you will not be punished by law unless, you try to purchase cannabis on your own and have brought it in a country which cannabis is illegal.

When you tried out to look at on his answer hes basically answering on the guy he qouted. Either he mentioned about cannabis herb literally as an investment or neither with token. We all know cannabis is illegal on most part of the globe which you would really be punished onced caught but in terms of investment or tokens i dont see a reason why would you charged up but the thing you should be wary of is on losing money on purchasing these tokens.
5807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FairPonzi - transparent, nonfee and opensource pyramide gambling SmartContract on: June 04, 2018, 10:26:56 PM
In a few words how would you describe FairPonzi to an investor?
Would like to ask the same question and also why would use the word ponzi? We or most people do know on whats ponzi what about and its senseless or dum thing for you to make or use such word if you are trying to seek up investors. This is indeed a gambling site and been wondering if you dont hold up the funds how you would able to get profits? Lots of questions in mind but yet questions been asked above still unanswered.
5808  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-04]MICROSOFT TO BUY GITHUB: BITCOIN DEVS CALL FOR EXIT on: June 04, 2018, 09:47:46 PM
Can someone elaborate on what Microsoft can possibly do to kill GitHub as we know it?

Why would MS want to kill Nokia? Or Skype? Or Office? Or Windows (lol). But they either did or are in the process of doing so, Windows will be no different to owning an X Box or a Nintendo console once MS have completed their latest "tech" roadmap
They do have the power and the capability on buying up things on they want but questions on mind why MS do make such step and spending up $7.5B. There would be always a purpose neither on positive or negative. I cant blame if bitcoin devs call for exit on this one. Just like been said above i dont even trust when you are under on MS surveilance.
5809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 04, 2018, 09:15:42 PM
Im not from cleveland nor am I really a cavalier fan, I do like lebron james though and watching Game 1 was probably the most frustrated I had been ever watching an NBA game.

The refs lopsided calls got more and more annoying then leading up to that overturned charge call that bailed GS out and kept them in the game was the pinnacle....fuck the missed free throw and JR blunder, none of that should of happened. The refs screwed the cavs out of game 1 and probably the series because of that.

I cant stand GS now, gloating around and celebrating after that win when their team is stacked anyways and the refs basically handed them the game is ridiculous.
If you are a fan of the Cavaliers or Warriors it is very hard not to be biased here. I think the blocking foul called on Lebron James against Durant is the right call because James has not established yet his position in my opinion. Game 1 is the best chance for the Cavs to won a game against the Warriors and they blew it. James should not criticize Smith for that lapse so that Smith will not be affected in the coming games.
You cant say that he shouldnt be blamed and you cant stop on what his teammates specially James and even the public/fans to think of on what happened with that game 1 there are really calls which is really not fair but guys we are already heading up for Game 3 and Game 1 is already done. Blaming wont really give anything good or criticism yet mistakes do really happen but i do consider that one to be crucial since we are already on the finals. Every move is important.
5810  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit campaign over? on: June 04, 2018, 08:47:12 PM
I would like to know from the campaign members, when was the last time you able to withdraw some campaign money?
To me, the last time was in the beginning of march, so almost three months ago.
Has the campaign wallet been filled somewhen in the meantime and I missed it?
At the moment I am not online here as much anymore as I was in former times, so I can't tell if yobit really took such a long time out in refilling the wallet.

If you find the issue on receiving the fund for the campaigning work you have done or unable to withdraw the fund also you should report that to site support mate. Instead I do not know why you have bumped the thread for the issue you have.
Kindly these kind of thing and create your thread on scam accusation section to check whether your issue has been resolved or not.
Its still cant be called out to be a scam yet these are normal behavior of Yobit when it comes to payment to their signature campaign, its not bad to bump up an old thread as long it would be relevant and its currently updated as of todays issues. If they do experience 2-3 months refilling out on yobits hot wallet then it might be on the same process as of now.I have a friend of mine do join up this campaign too but as the time goes by they are not putting attention on refiling up their wallet for paying out.

5812  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-04] Bitcoin Price Struggles to Secure Momentum at $7,700 on: June 04, 2018, 07:29:26 PM
While the Relative Strength Index (RSI) of BTC is 43.3, it is not demonstrating an oversold condition for BTC. A further drop in BTC would not lead the RSI to drop by large margins and thus, a short-term turn around back to the $7,700 mark if BTC falls to $7,500 is unlikely.

This is what happening as of now where it do struggles out to break or sustain momentum on 7,700 range and it dropped and the price is playing between 7500 ranges. It would really be hard to break out that resistance but once it would have a breakout then expect it would continue reaching out on 8500 but it would really takes time.

5814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit cryptocurrency trading its not for you! on: June 03, 2018, 10:20:52 PM
Nobody was really born a master in any business. Even the greatest master in any business venture learnt from somewhere or someone. I have no offense if some traders knew about cryptocurrency trading from their friends or relatives because you will be surprised that they might grow to be more perfect in it than the person who taught them. Where I find offensive is not being patient to fully learn before jumping into trading because of the eagerness to make money.
Yes I agree on that, even the most amazing riders will commet a huge accident, and no one really born and walk or maybe run directly everyone really needs to crawl first before they can become master on it. So if we are really lose in trading today maybe we can gain on it tommorow or in the near future.
Everyone starts to be a newbie but the hopes and dedication would depend on what they do aim for.Doing trading is just for the sake of money but the level of eagerness and greedy/hope for money would be different into a particular kind of person which actions would vary either he would done it on a fast and careless way or on a slow but surely pace. You should really expect the unexpected that students would become more better with their teachers when it comes to trade and i do believe in skills too.
5815  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW LTC FAUCET 💰 Horse Racing Launched at MBET.IO 🐎 on: June 03, 2018, 09:45:34 PM

It might be because of their promo, I mean all the other sites don't have such a promo so having a little less odd is not too bad for us but yeah if we don't consider this offer then yes it is bad they will surely have to adjust their odds a little bit to compete with the current competition

the odds isn't lower a little , it's lower a lot and you will be missing value if you bet here and skip the other bitcoin bookies
most sportsbettors are value seekers , so I bet the majority of bettors want higher odds rather than promo or any other type of bonuses
but as I said mbet is unique since they offer racing and they are the only site that offers these events
Well yeah i don't bet with really high amount so these promos are fine for me but yeah the site can't really depend on these promos as they don't generate much profit for the site , might as well give them a loss

I also would like to say that site was very slow when i tried and the horse racing picks never opened for me , anyone else facing or is it just me. I did clear cookies, cache but the problem still existed
Promos are just good for temporary basis but not the thing that a gambling site can rely on.Higher odds which will really be important and i believe the same thing that majority of bettors wants higher odds than promos which i completely agree with sygambler on the thing he do said.

The site isnt slow and it do works perfectly fine when i do browse up either on horse racing picks and other sports as wel. You might have a slow internet connection.
5816  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-03]Crypto Space Over The Past Week From 28 Of May To 3 Of June, 2018 on: June 03, 2018, 09:13:53 PM
Lots of news within a particular period of time which it do shows both negative and positive into cryptomarket and to the people who are on it but most of them do really focus or involved on regulation which isnt suprising because we are really heading on that way where regulation would took place. Verification and exchangers being regulated and all other aspects.
5817  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to avoid getting your exchange account HaCkEd or pHiShEd on: June 03, 2018, 08:28:50 PM
Wow, man, great article! You put lot of effort to write it. I see that you detailed probably all aspects related exchanges accounts hacking/phishing attempts. But so far I haven't saw fake accounts of exchanges being verified by Twitter. Do you have some examples?
These hackers/scammers are getting really smart and they always find new ideas how to scam people. But the main problem that many people just aren't careful enough, they aren't following even basic security advises. It seems that some people will learn only when they will be scammed..

Very detailed which do really deserves a merit on the post he made. These are indeed phishing sites which some people do get victimized due to their carelessness and i dont know why most of them do tend to make a google search which even memorizing the correct url isnt really hard to do such thing. Expect for those scammers to level up on the way they do scam because if their method becomes obvious it wont really make money anymore for them.
5818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Always KYC (Know Your Customer) Why NOT KYO(Know Your Owner) on: June 03, 2018, 07:49:39 PM
Maybe you can try to open your own gambling site and become their position. I'm sure that you will do the same, asking KYC.
For me , it's the law of nature but overall it's also depend on every country's policy on gambling site.

If they asking for KYC , it means that they are want to protect themself and learn from the past incident !
For sure you would comply the same thing because you are following countries law's. I know that gambling site owner knows on how gamblers do really mean their privacy but they dont have any choice but to ask KYC since its the protocol to be followed. If they wont then expect for them to be fined which we dont have any choice but to follow on what is being required. There are lots of gambling sites to chose if you dont like to expose your identity you can just step out and find another one. Knowing owners, you can make it thru research but whats the point on knowing them?
5819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signal become a smart scam!!! on: June 03, 2018, 07:21:15 PM
PS: Meta is not the right section for your topic. You may consider moving the topic to an appropriate section. Scroll down a bit then look for move topic
yes, OP needs to move this thread to Trading Discussion subforum

Im always skeptic towards signal groups in general.

Probably because the coin they want to pump doesnt got the volume btc wise to sell off there bags.
Paid signals are for the signal giver easy side profits.

Absolutely. You got the right point. They just want to pump a coin. Then they can get profits. They just use us. May be some of us get profits and some of us got loss.
most of these so called signal groups are actually pump 'n dump groups in disguise
have you wonder why they give signal on altcoin that only recently started getting more trade volume?
they initated the volume increase and needed victims to unload their coins Tongue
Experienced traders or persons would able to spot it out but for beginners they do easily being fooled out due to their greediness where they do neglect other peoples advice and decide to invest or bought a particular coin that had been mentioned.Trying to look at even at a chart or volume history or stats you will able to find out if its being bought on purpose or not. Trading signal scams are not new anymore yet they do exist for quite long now.
5820  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Exchangers and new regulations. on: May 31, 2018, 07:42:21 PM
Well, it seems that regulations are taking the direction of controlling the exchangers' users information. Given the difficulty of controlling the cryptosystem, for it is decentralized and, somehow, anonymous, governments are choosing to introduce some new requirements into exchangers, so they can control the identity of the crypto users.
The most recent case I've noticed is the Poloniex one, for the new rules have been implemented since the last week. Now, they ask you for your real name, your place of residence, a pick of your personal official ID, your telephone number, and (the most amazing), a picture of your own face, alongside with a paper in which the date must be written.

Regulations are coming, and they can hit hard the market, I'm afraid. Today every coin in Poloniex appears in red.
So. They can't totally control the coins, but they can control the use you make of a coin.

If exchangers become a new banking system, then, what's the point of crypto?

I think this is somehow fair enough since everyone are using a fiat currency after trading to any crypto currency and the banks are having a problem of tracing the money where it goes and where it came from, that's why they have to make a regulation because are still concern of the "money" and not the crypto currency itself.
Never been fair yet they are still trying to take control or do make transactions to be more harder due to such regulations. Government would really like to trace up on income and outgoing funds of an individula by means of exchangers. Decentralized is all we do like but how we would able to move if exchangers are the ones being used for us users to be traced on regarding on our transactions.?
