If you are not a scammer why don't you just trade it yourself?
It's on 2 exchanges. Both are about the same price .001 to .00125

Can anyone do me a favor and open up a channel to my node at home?

I can open channels out and pay invoices, but when I try to open one from my other node at the office it fails.

But, I have done some testing on my node at the office and I don't know if I broke something.

Thanks,
Dave
edit: someone opened one. If it was one of you thanks :-)
Now all I have to do is figure out what I broke on the office one.

There is an entire discussion on running on a RPi here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5196287.0

It's not simple but you can do it with some tinkering.

SouthXchange https://www.southxchange.com/ last I checked had no KYC
And according to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211520.0
Poloniex no longer requires KYC

So I did a bit of an experiment based on what I said about getting the parts for less.
Now, overspent because I am going to be using the Pi for something else.
But, I ordered what was on the Raspiblitz list (with some upgrades)
Once everything was in.....
Took about an hour to put it all together since I had to go looking around for a tool to take the case apart / put it back together.
Also burned the SD card during that time.

Plugged it into my router and started it up.
Took very little time until I got to the chain download. Chose torrent and let it run.
I also did the shimfan fix that I posted about above (Purged Plymouth).
Torrent took about 8 hours +/- a bit was not hovering over it.
Did a reboot and then it started the rest of the blockchain download. The torrent only gets you 89% of the way there.

That finished up overnight between New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Reboot and finished answering the rest of the questions for the setup and done.
Added some BTC to my channel and poof done.
Only have 1 channel open and I still have to open the ports in the firewall but it's done.
Time was a little over a day or so on a fast internet connection. Actual time of working on it was probably under 2 hours.

5835  Economy / Reputation / Re: More trust system abuse by Lauda on: December 29, 2019, 10:58:29 PM
I know I have said it before but we need to split trust and feedback.

Merit = Are they good posters? Help out people? Useful to the board? This does not matter much in terms of trading BTC or hardware or collectibles you *can* help out a lot but still be a crook.

Trust = Can you trust them with money / items / etc. However, there are a lot of people with trust that have never really bought or sold things.

Feedback = Do you really want to deal with them. Because even if the 1st 2 are good you might still want to avoid.

I trust TECSHARE I trust Lauda neither of them have done me harm, stolen from me or to my knowledge stolen from anyone I deal with.
I probably have given merit to and received from both of them. Would have to check.
Feedback, is a different issue. As I posted some time ago....

to put it as the forum owner put it.
If you send Bob $200 to tune up your bike and he came to your house and tuned up your bike then he gets positive trust.
If while he was there he has sex with your wife IT DOES NOT MATTER. That has nothing to do with trust. That is a feedback issue.

We seem to have the same issue here. I REALLY DON'T CARE if Bob is promoting scam coin X or an ICO or YoBit SPAM. If I sent Bob 1BTC and he sent me $9000 cash as agreed everything else is not important in the trade area.

Maybe I agree with Techshares politics, maybe I think he is a radical right nutjob, maybe I am more to the right then he is and I think he is a liberal looser. Not a trust issue, it's a feedback issue Which we don't have here. so people are using the trust info for it. Which despite a lot of people in the forums who buy / sell / trade keep fighting against keeps happening. theymos for whatever reason does not want to change it, so we are stuck with it.

I have gotten to the point of ignoring it, only came to this thread because my name was mentioned and I got an alert.

It's a new year in a few days, can we all get together and agree to calm down a bit?

Weekly update.

hugeblack who is active in Arabic local board has ranked up to Legendary.
tranthidung, CryptopreneurBrainboss and DaveF have also earned enough merits to achieve this position but do not have sufficient activity.
Goran_ who is active in Russian local board is in the same situation.

gospodin, Bttzed03, skarais and tbct_mt2 who are active in Turkish, Philippine and Indonesian local boards respectively have been promoted to Hero Members.

BITCOIN4X who is active in Indonesian local board became a Sr. Member.

Ljunior who is also active in Indonesian local board has ranked to Full Member.

Congratulations! Cool

I did make Legendary:
Activity: 1876
Merit: 1004

Firstly, I did not talk about ALL awards, I said almost to zero, secondly, zpool.ga does not mine this coin now (for several hours) after shorelinecrypto.com fell and I turned off the "Aggression" mode - if you are interested, we can talk on this subject in more detail, but for now enjoy

-Admin zpool.ga

With all times being EST because I am using the GUI client based in my timzone. During the 24 hour period from 00:01 to 23:59 on Friday the 27th I mined over 200 blocks on a core i5-3450 that I picked up for under $50 and a GTX 1650 that I have been playing with for a few months. (It is one of the few decent modern cards that does not need a PCIe power).

During that same 24 hours how many blocks did your pool find? How much hardware was pointed at it?

Not looking to get into a fight, just looking for more data points.

I have an i7-7700k and a pair of GTX1660 that found fewer blocks during that same time because I did *no* optimizations.

Slightly off topic to this discussion but:
My opinion is that, this has been the issue with mining since the beginning. I can tweak the crap out of mid range hardware and get better performance then just plugging in and running much better stuff.

Just more of an FYI, if you do the build that is discussed there is an issue with the fanshim/lcd.

https://github.com/rootzoll/raspiblitz/issues/898

The last comment here seems to be a fix:

https://github.com/rootzoll/raspiblitz/issues/796
(removes the fan control software just lets it run all the time)
Figured this might save some people some time when looking for the solution.

Not sure if this helps, but if you look at the bitmain site:
https://shop.bitmain.com/product/parts
You can see what parts are for what machine.
