I recommend every direct bet player check out the very serious accusation against DirectBet and the way he has chosen to handle it over the past month. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1481406.0

I've seen these cases Directbet willing to pay to the terms and conditions hungerstyle agreed but not yet meet the requirements
At least I saw Directbet seriously want to solve this problem so we should appreciate it

Did you see Directbet, an anonymous sportsbook, require a player upload their passport to imgur, a public image sharing site, to return their 38 bitcoin?  Do you think this is reasonable?  I don't.

Yup someone who violate the rules must also respect the rules in force the requirement applies only to gamblers who violate the rules
Directbet only anticipate if one day someone is claiming loss of BTC and find it in Directbet so Directbet could explain who owns the bitcoin

Maybe you know Directbet assume hungerstyle is an hacker who attempted to defraud so it was the right way to anticipate if there is a problem in the future IMO

These rules?

You understand DirectBet is the on not respecting them.
5822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag Non-Payment of Jackpot on: June 24, 2016, 01:31:50 AM
One reason that I can conceive that they do not want to pay out is that they are probably earning interest on the hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions that they have on deposit.  Every time a progressive increases, they hit an accrual account to store the money (or at least they should if they are properly accounting for the jackpots).  These are probably invested in low risk investments and with millions of dollars that is not their own, they are making a really good return.  Paying out a few hundred thousand would put a damper on that return.

In other words, you think they don't want to pay out because they want to have more money.

Yes, very possible.

Perhaps you could ask Betcoin to respond to this thread.  They seem to be ignoring most, but they pay you so maybe they won't ignore you.

At first I believe Bovada only accepted Bitcoin deposits, but recently they also offer withdraws.

Intertops took the same approach.

Here's what my cashier looks like for Bovada.

Thank you very much, I will definitely take another look. I have USD stranded on Bovada forever, would loooove to withdraw using BTC.

You're welcome.

Haven't been giving OP the love it deserves and have some WSOP events coming up,  but it's on my list.

We had to share some of TwitchySeals activity at Betcoin over the last 3 days alone.  Following are some NOT all of the accounts created and logins!  Mind you this is just the last 3 days!  Where does he find the time?  It's unbelievable and attempting to impersonate users... This is some real Betcoin love.

Twitchycrotch .... yeah this ass clown has been masturbating in bitcoin poker games for a quite a while. I don't even play Betcoin with any regularity, but I remember plomonster at Satoshi Poker (he's alright) and his word (poker) is gospel with me. Just ban crotch's IP and ignore his posts.

Welcome to my ignore list Twitchycrotch. Have a nice day.

SatoshiPoker was owned by Bart Van Ooort (Known as Ghadafi on Betcoin).

Plo8 stood by him while he stole player deposits.

In the end, the site had to be sold to a 3rd party who agreed to repay the stolen funds.  Very similiar to FullTilt being sold to Pokerstars, just on a smaller scale.

I never played on satoshi poker though, or with InDaMuck (afaik)  Not sure what his deal is.  In fact, I don't play under TwitchySeal on other sites either.

When Betcoin deletes one of my forum posts, I immediately repost it.

When they ban me, I immediately create a new account.  It takes only slightly more effort than logging in with an already existing account.

I would never play poker on an alt account, and haven't played poker on Betcoin in months.

Edit, also 6 of those accounts aren't even mine and the only other person who has called me "TwitchyCrotch" is plo8s son.

Hello again TwitchySeal, is there a site you have not criticized?

Yes.  I don't think it would be appropriate to discuss in this thread, I'll pm you some of the sites I consider most trustworthy.
5827  Economy / Reputation / Re: fun-casino.com is untrustworthy on: June 23, 2016, 09:22:12 PM
Hmm... being un-tech savvy and being untrustworthy is different.. I get where you're coming from here but maybe he just doesn't understand what he's saying

Maybe he's a just marketing guy, but he could be trustworthy with your money (?)

Watching this issue
In the past couple months they have had Stunna, NLNico, myself and others explain to them that their OP was not true and needed to be changed.  They don't care.

Perhaps they are just ignorant, I don't think that's a valid excuse at this point.

I expect Betcoin to ignore all this and lay low for a while hoping for the mess Jessica made to blow over.  Then eventually return as if nothing happened.

I would like to point out the very fact you asked him to upload his passport to imgur is reason enough for anyone not to trust you with their personal information.  He would be fool to send anything but fake documents, but you knew that.  You arent protecting your business, your only protecting your BTC38.
5832  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Directbet selective scam 38+ btc CAUTION on: June 23, 2016, 08:37:50 PM
After more than a week of silence, hungerstyle finally sent a passport and utility bill.

However, the passport provided is invalid, as it does not have a passport number, and it was manipulated in an image editing tool. In addition, the address in the utility bill does not match the address previously given for the agreement, it's not even in the same country !

Nevertheless, in an effort to make a progress, we prepared and sent him an agreement to sign, and we asked that he attach to the agreement an image of himself holding the passport that he just sent along with a note of today's date.

hungerstyle sent us back the agreement while completely ignoring our passport request. He then rushed to the forums here to announce that he complied with our request, even though he was fully aware that he did not.

We then asked him again to comply with our passport request and he replied that he does not have access to his passport.

In an effort to expedite the progress we asked if he can send his driver license instead. At that point he stopped responding to our e-mails and finally after more than 20 hours and only after we gave him a deadline he replied that he does not have a driver license while failing to suggest an alternative.

hungerstyle is either trying to make a fun of us, or he is stalling to buy some more time that will allow him to obtain new faked documents on the dark markets in order to meet our requirement.

It's time to put an end to this.

We gave hungerstyle 24 hours to send us his passport or driver license. We are also open to discuss an alternative government official document that he can send within this time frame. It really shouldn't take him more than a minute to take a picture of himself with an official ID, unless of course the documents that he provided are faked.

If he fails to do so we will assume he can't comply, that the documents submitted are faked, and will declare the KYC as failed. We will not accept new documents afterwards.

If he does end up complying with our request it will take us a few days to verify the documents after which we will send him the coins.

Its truly pathetic to see you discussing KYC requirements to justify keeping 38btc you never intended to keep.

His passport number?  Are you fucking serious?

Ive remained quiet on this recently because I believed it was going to be worked out.

Now, over a month after the bet is made, Directbet has the audacity to say "If we don't hear from you
within the next 24 hours we will assume you are not interested in
cooperating and the deal is off."

You deserve every bit of negative trust coming your way Direct Bet.

Oh, and by the way, you're still charging the exact same rate of 1.48 mbtc for $1.  It hasn't changed in hours.  Fix it, or explain to the players what's happening.

You can't say one thing and then do another.

You would be disputing my allegations if you could, but instead this is all you can do.

Imagine if you spent the time trying to silence me on fixing the issues I refuse to let you bury?

I'll make a thousand more accounts if I have to, you can't shut me up.  Sorry. (no I'm not)

Or you could take the gto road and head over to the scam accusation forum, accept responsibility, and try to start making things right.

The Art of Unscrupulous Scumbaggery by Betcoin Jessica, Andrew and William

The most important thing if you want alot of sign-ups is, use your time wisely, invest in a shill campaign so users who dont play on your site can convince others how trustworthy you are.  When your actual users complain, first deny, then ignore, offer bribe, and if that's not enough just ban them

for your "on the fly" conversions, but BTC exchange do you reference to do it?

We currently blend bitstamp and btc-e and take the average.  Thank you.

BTC-e??... low volume and the one of exchanges who offers an average of 4% less than others (per the Winkdex) for USD... well played Betcoin, you make a nice profit off the backs of your players simply on the buy-in (plus the wonky RB for WPN tourneys)... and then even a percentage of the winnings if a Betcoin player wins!

I actually stand corrected and should have confirmed with programming before typing as it is bitstamp.net and preev.com, but thank you for helping me clarify this.
Chargine $1 for 1.48 mbtc right now

If someone wants to do the math, you'll prob see its off.
5839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag Non-Payment of Jackpot on: June 22, 2016, 10:16:52 PM
What can we do to make sure jasonort gets what he is owed.  Betsoft needs to be held accountable!  Maybe Betsoft, and any of it's supporters, should be blacklisted from the market!  I personally trust betcoin.ag and Bodog (Bovada), but Betsoft needs to be dealt with in a strong handed manner....In fact, I'm feeling cheated now too and I want all the money back that I've spent playing on their software chasing those progressives! <--Not that I believe that would ever happen, but for jasonort, what can we do to put the hurt on these thieves?

Spread the word, make sure players know what's going on.

Tell Betcoin that they should be helping Jason get paid,  if they want to keep your trust.

The more I dig the more I doubt these Jackpots are anything more than a gimmick.

Progessive Jackpots at Betcoin total over $5 million USD. Where is it?  If they were all hit tomorrow, what would happen?

Why is there no RTP posted anywhere on any Betsoft game anywhere?
Why is there such a lack of transparency?
5840  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag: Unresolved Issues on: June 22, 2016, 09:16:21 PM
Got another one to add to the list:

Betcoin player hits progressive Jackpot worth over BTC500, Betsoft won't pay and Betcoin attempts to cover it up with lies

Pretty serious accusation against Betcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.0

Cliffs:

JasonOrt bets max with .5 denom on Glam-Life and triggers 4 extra spins.

On 4th spin he gets 5 yacht symbols and wins 1000 credits, not jackpot.

Pay table says:

(No other rules found anywhere about Jackpot)

A) Betcoin tells him he was not eligible because it was a free spin and attempt to shame him by telling him most players know what he does not:
Quote
most players understand that it is a bonus or free round and there are different outcomes because of that.
Then lock his thread: https://www.betcoin.ag/should-pay-line-have-won-jackpot-glam-life, and delete most of the comments.

Jasons Defense:
GreedyGoblins is another slot with a progressive Jackpot offered by the same service provider.
Here you can see they clarify that even though the freespin round offers multipliers, the jackpot can not be multiplied.  This implies that the jackpot is not excluded during free spins.

B) Betsoft Gaming tells him he was not eligible because he did not bet max with the highest denomination.

Quote
Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that your win was correct in this situation. A maximum bet for this game is the highest denomination which is 1.00, whereas in this particular round, you bet 0.50, even though you chose 'Max Bet', the jackpot is only won when it is the maximum bet (1.00).

Jasons Defense:

Every denomination clearly has an independant jackpot.  When you switch denominations, the jackpot changes.

On casinolistings.com they track bovadas Glam Life Jackpot.  It's clear they are independant and all denominations are eligible:

The owner of casinolistings.com also chimed in: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.msg15313569#msg15313569

Finally we have the comments of plo8monster, Betcoins lone site "pro" and the father half of the father/son chat mods.

While being discussed in chat he sided with Betcoin immediately:
Quote
plo8monster: thats totally not true lol ungod ... the bonus max out at 1000chips, and the vendor has that rule .. betcoin dont pay it the vendor does ... you guys all jump on bandwagon ... but these are vendors that do sports and casino games ..... I dont have time to get into this tonight ...but the vendor limits bonus wins @ 1000 chips .... if he were spending his money and made that spin he would be Phat with coin

After the story was clear, 2 days later, he made these statements:
Quote
plo8monster: i told you im not gonna to join that conversation ..im a poker pro smart enuf not to play slots ...i played maybe 10 times in my life
plo8monster: i am not knowledgable about slots
plo8monster: slots is not something i can help with i know zero about them
plo8monster: I had a roomate at that time playing my slots and showing me how with my bonuses ... but i am not a slots player
plo8monster: why ya gotta be such a biiiish twitchy
plo8monster: this issue with Jason is NOT MY BUSINESS ... how many times must i tell you same thing it is waste of time

Hopefully Betcoin will have time to respond to this sometime between thanking users for kind words and going home for the weekend.

Oh almost forgot, the jackpot was 1,007,249.91 credits at .5mbtc denomination.  (503.6249 BTC current value of ~$383,000)
