You really should create a privacy policy that states you will publish any information given to you as you see fit.

Otherwise, one of these people could successfully sue you.  :/

You can't be a judge, jury and executioner all in one...
5842  Economy / Reputation / Re: Split: mprep's unethical violation of auction rules on: July 12, 2018, 11:52:37 AM
Yeah, DT is one of the most abused systems on the forum. I'm sure you can understand where I am coming from.

Quicksy believes you should be able to steal a million dollars and have no repercussions.   Roll Eyes

The DT system is working great - it allows us to quickly snip scammers in the butt.
5843  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCpop.co on: July 12, 2018, 11:46:33 AM
I got 2740 emails purporting to be from them 2 days ago informing me there had been an attempt to log in from a new IP address. Took a while to delete as I could only delete 50 at a time.

I have also received spam from this garbage website.
5844  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your Thoughts on Cryptocurrency on: July 12, 2018, 09:56:23 AM
Cryptocurrency will continue to rise. I don't know if this virtual currency will and can replace cash in 10 years or so, but it is highly possible. It's great because it protects the owner from theft and fraud and stuff. It's convenient because there's no third party involved (i.e. banks). I wouldn't be surprised if crypto surges in a few years.

As of June 2017, only 51% of the world's population has internet access.

Crypto will never replace cash in our lifetime.

I could pull up exact figures as needed, since I maintain a full list of the modlog.

That would be interesting. Does your data go back to 2017/05/11 as that's what the OP was using?

It goes back to 2016/12/13 thanks to taptoshi, who is no longer active on the forum.  Sad

Unfortunately the modlog has no dates.   I can start collecting the date now when I scrape it from the log file, but past records are not timestamped.  I could guesstimate the date range based on the ID number like the OP though.
5847  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA] Advent calendar for cryptocurrencies enthusiasts on: July 12, 2018, 09:34:04 AM
I have an idea to create an Advent Calendar specially for cryptocurrencies enthusiasts. I suppose it should looks like usual calendar (box) that contains 24 gifts like coupons for miners, some special conditions to try new services, free tokens, discounts for icos etc.

If you are going to tie it to religion (Advent) I don't think you'll do too well.... interest in crypto and belief in sky fairies usually don't go together.  The mass increase of religious people on this forum in the last year are tied to signature campaigns, and those people won't spend their money on anything crypto related.

Also, how would you issue cryptocurrencies in the calendar without you knowing the private key?  Could be an expensive set up cost, which would increase your min sell break even number.
5848  Other / Meta / Re: Truth about bitcointalk users 2.0 on: July 12, 2018, 09:28:51 AM
You should exclude the brand new users from your stats. They are likely to be spam bots that are banned.

That is quite some stat in itself, 73.35% of new accounts got nuked.

I agree that the other percentages would give a better representation with those having been removed from the figures first.

Ah dishonest Quicksy...  Cheesy

Speaking as someone who actually knows what they are talking about, most of the new users have not made any posts at all, and have not been banned or nuked.

I could pull up exact figures as needed, since I maintain a full list of the modlog.
5849  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: July 12, 2018, 09:26:08 AM
there is no scientific proof that exist but you can feel that god exist through your undying faith and believing of what you feel inside in your heart, if your faith is so strong and believe that there is the existence of God so there's no need of scientific proof that God exist.

Simple belief is not enough anymore.  Maybe it worked in the dark ages, but today people are more educated and less gullible - they are going to want proof of some sky fairy.

Since religion is just a belief system not based in science, you cannot provide proof.

It really is that simple. You'd have to be very dense to not understand it.

According to Pew Research Center:
In 2007, 78.4% of those researched called themselves christian.
In 2014, that number was 70.6%.
The number that are being actively brainwashed is actually much lower, as many people don't go to churches anymore, choosing instead to make their god what they want it to be instead of what a pedophile priest wants it to be.  Calling yourself a "christian" today just means you believe in something - not the most mis-translated book of all time.

People are waking up faster than ever. In a few years, people like BD will be considered idiots by the general population, instead of just here on the forum.  Smiley
5850  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller receives 20BTC, does not do work, keeps $ **not disputed!** on: July 12, 2018, 09:00:24 AM
More ridiculousness. Privacy and the right to anonymity is a fundamental right protected by the US constitution and is a valued ethos of the forum. The overwhelming majority of people that conduct any kind of business on the forum conceal their identities (those who do not conduct business have an even greater percentage of anonymity), including those with significant trust and authority. Even the mods, including the global mods are allowed to keep their identity secret from even the administration, even if this means they can conceal income and assets so they can continue to receive welfare transfer payments from the government.

And again, it's OK if someone else's privacy is violated by you (as you constantly flood my trust page with my real name and the pedo story you made up).

You should be protected by fundamental rights - but no one else should.

Right Quicksy?

Your story is weak and yet another lie.

5851  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for angel investors for a blockchain startup. Where can I find them? on: July 12, 2018, 04:36:48 AM
Hello, I am the founder of a blockchain startup that needs startup capital before we can begin development. But I am having trouble acquiring this so I see individual angel investors as the best approach. The problem is I can’t find any way to seriously contact these investors to request a meeting. They write me off as spam or advertising. Does anyone know of a way that I can get in contact with any angel investors (does not matter how small) that could possibly be interested in working with me as a partner. Thank you.

You can write a whitepaper for free.  That will help the most in gathering interest for your project.

Project Development is not the right location for scam ICOs.

Take a basketball - spray water on it until there is a thin film.

Proof water curves.  Smiley

Bogus try from a boob licking globe clown.

So you are too stupid to try it?   You'd instantly be embarrassed that you have wasted so much time here.   Wink
5855  Other / Off-topic / Re: BEST ADVICE FOR SOMEONE CONTEMPLATING SUICIDE? on: July 12, 2018, 12:40:42 AM
But we all make mistakes, does that mean God doesn't help those that makes mistakes?

Are you aware of the fairy tale that you go to hell if you kill yourself?

If you really believe in that nonsense, you won't be committing suicide.  Smiley
5856  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan, have ring for collateral on: July 11, 2018, 09:43:14 PM
Anyway, goodbye, this was obviously a waste of time and thanks to whoever for negative trust rating me based on literally nothing whatsoever, ass....

So you come into our clubhouse, ask for free money, then storm out?

Your negative trust is very valid - you want to exchange the ring - you are not going to buy it back.

Goodbye.  Smiley
5857  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan, have ring for collateral on: July 11, 2018, 08:27:40 PM
I posted this ring for sale:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4646747.msg41983727

I am also looking to possibly just take a loan out on it and buy it back over the 6 months of waiting for it to fit my wife again, with interest of course.

Seeking $9000

Ring appraisal: $10,300

When is the last time a jeweller gave you anywhere close to the appraised value?  It's like a domain name lol.

Nice scam attempt - it's no wonder you created a new account to try it.
5858  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller receives 20BTC, does not do work, keeps $ **not disputed!** on: July 11, 2018, 07:56:41 PM
Of course it is pretty ridiculous for that condition to explain the degrees of Vod's ineptitude (to put it the best way I can) and negative narcissist + abrasive traits; but whatever. There are better things to do in life than internet fights with pathetic people; it took one look at Vod's facebook to make me almost feel sorry for him. Smiley

Take a look at my trust rating and compare it to yours, Quicksy.  Smiley

You recently lied about returning the coins - why?
5859  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: July 11, 2018, 02:52:41 PM
How are any of this dense fool's opinions considered fact?

Experiment and observe and repeat.  That is how you get proof.

You guys are arguing against nonsense.
5860  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for Developers/Help for Tokenizing Low Earth Orbit and Deep Space Data on: July 11, 2018, 02:44:58 PM
Hi everyone-

We are Rogue Exploration and are working on Low Earth Orbit Satellites and Deep Space Crafts along with asteroid mining at the end of our roadmap.  We just recently placed in the Space Symposium in Denver and won "Most Environmentally Friendly" and "Lightest  Satellite."

Hi!   Grin

Can you provide proof you are associated with that team in Denver?  I'm sure you understand a lot of people here pretend to be what they are not for financial gain.
