5901  Other / Meta / Re: Persecution and Deleted Posts on: August 14, 2019, 06:24:05 AM
but why would a mod delete something like this:
Your post may not have been off-topic, but not only off-topic replies gets deleted,.
Your bot looks too good to be true, and the services you claim you it offers is to an extent suspicious, so the mod who deleted probably felt the need to warn others(the unsuspecting ones) from falling for such by removing it.

If your "magic" bot is legit, you do not need to worry about it getting deleted or arguing with users over it's potential, just go ahead and use it yourself alone, they'll be the ones missing out, won't they? Wink Grin

Bounty Hunters should also make research about a project before promoting it.
Other than the risk of promoting a scam project, they need to promote the project with some sort of decency that would attract people to want to click on their signatures.
If the need ever arises for me to use a bitcoin mixer, I'll not think twice to use chipmixer, the amount of good posters on that campaign is enormous, and they promote the project/company in "good light", and it's somewhat a sign the company itself does a good job.
Just so they have something to fall under if ever bitcoin does a nosedrive.
We've moved from 3500 to 13000 in a matter of months, if it were to be ones only source of income, you must be driven into FUD and panic sales, and would miss out gaining big returns.
Newbies/bounty hunters need to learn this
5903  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what's the use of 1000+ cryptocurrencies? on: August 13, 2019, 11:16:06 PM
That's a bit shocking, can't understand how 99% of them have no use XD explain more, please.
The network is decentralized, and it allows anyone the opportunity/liberty to create a coin, with the amount of greedy individuals in the world today, you know what that means for them?, they just create coins they know have no use case or worth, just to scam people, enrich themselves and watch the coin sink deep into the pit of shitcoins.
Stick with the big coins with real-world use unless you want to gamble in the market.
Let me rephrase @TryNinja: Stick with the bitcoin

5904  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Drafts Page on: August 13, 2019, 10:55:34 PM
I think that a better draft platform will incentive posters to elaborate their posts and topics more carefully.
You may have a point here, but I think 7 days span is enough time for one to make changes, elaborate and proofread thier topics or posts, for me the draft system works pretty fine as any post that probably can't be edited and made ready within 7 days should then be saved elsewhere,(outside the forum) then whenever ready can be posted on the forum.
5905  Other / Beginners & Help / It's not a job on: August 13, 2019, 10:37:41 PM
It's far from new to see a post/reply which culminates or summarizes this fact: "Trading full time or full time "bounties"(no real life job)".
Posts/replies such as the aforementioned go miles in misleading newbies, they are hence either hell bent on spamming the forum through bounties or forsaking real life skills to engage in trading. Such acts which in the long run poses an enormous threat to their financial development(situation)

What do you take the forum as?, a work place, a leisure centre, an education arena etc, every newbie needs to question him or herself on this.
If you take the forum as a job you need to change that mindset, or else you'll simply be struggling between meeting up with bounty requirements, you'll find it extremely difficult to read threads you do not wish to comment on(which is useful in garnering knowledge), you will simply make the required number of posts and off you go till next weeks task.
This sort of back and forth activity would lead to you gaining no knowledge, never ranking high up and miss out on discussions that matter.

The most appropriate thing to do is to get yourself a job in real life, and not depend totally on either earnings through the forum or trading.
Failure in trading when you have a real job that pays you isn't as fatal as it is when your do not, it's a blatant truth.
If you're on a bounty, it's not a license to spam the forum or limit yourself to only the specific boards for the campaign, explore your horizon, Join in discussions, read without always commenting, and in no time you'll see that you'll no longer struggle to meet up with your weekly post, and even if you don't, it's fine, it's not a job afterall.
5906  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Why 20% profit in crypto is TERRIBLE. on: August 13, 2019, 09:54:42 PM
Crypto doesn’t have to be hard or complex. It’s about understanding it.
Can the market really be understood?, up till now I still do not know the reason, or rather the cause of a rise or fall in price, and I guess no one does, except you simply wanna speculate, which i also can afford to do.

You make it sound like its a get rich quick scheme, and it bothers me when I see posts so as this, I understand you're trying to point out the possibility of big profits which we all aspire for, but you're also forgetting big losses which is also another possible factor.
Whether it's a 20% profit or a 2x profit, as long as no loss was incurred, then it's not bad trading at all in my opinion.
5907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2019, 06:03:42 PM
because I have faith in this team for this season.
I have no faith in Chelsea this season to be honest with you, I think they've got s shallow squad bereft of depth, not any quality on the bench whatsoever, I'll love to see how they brace themselves up for their next game against Liverpool in the super cup.

Ominous signs are brewing up for Frankie, Chelsea have a history of making use of the axe(sack)and i hope he isn't chopped off before he even gets started.
5908  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Failed Withdrawal on: August 12, 2019, 02:20:06 PM
Due to the fact that you didn't have the sufficient gas to complete your transaction, your transaction failed, as miners cannot complete your transaction without the sufficient gas required, but it's nothing to worry about as your ETH would still remain in your original wallet as the gas was inadequate to complete your transaction. Try tracing the eth through etherscan, and you'll find out its still there.

But note that the gas used up for the failed transactions would not be returned back to you, it'll be kept by the miners.

5909  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to act in crpyto space to achieve mass addoption on: August 12, 2019, 10:27:02 AM
If you posses tokens or coins you can always sell, use or hold them. As crypto pioneers if you want to convert your holdings into something else I prefer use the coins instead of selling them. Try to find a way to buy goods or services with crypto instead of selling your asset and buy goods or services with fiat
The use of crypto isn't as widespread as that of fiat currencies, we(you included)all need fiat currencies to carry out day to day transactions and dealings, whether it's boarding a cab, picking up items at the grocery store etc, thus until crypto is used as a medium of payment in almost every work of life, the need to convert cryptocurrency to fiat will always be there. Our own contribution is to patronize the stores that are proactive enough to be accepting cryptocurrencies for payment.
If you are selling to get fiat to buy goods or services you also push a sell pressure to the coin or token and pushing the price down but if you use them as a payment you are increasing a value of that coin.
It depends on the coin in question, if it's some shitcoin(ICO token), minor dumps can be suicidal to the life or survival of the coin, but the bitcoin with its enormous trading activity/volume, it's always balanced and minor dumps cannot affect the price drastically, the more people sell bitcoins, many others buy/purchase.

Another amazing game played by the players of Manchester City today, I think it is quite bad for West Ham to be playing against Manchester City for their first game in this English Premier League season, the players of West Ham might be demoralize as they were totally thrashed by Manchester City in front of their home fans. I believe West Ham will not have an easy game against Brighton in their next match, as Brighton have also managed to beat Watford today.
I've not had the opportunity to watch the Brighton Vs Wattford highlight, but I watched the city-w.ham game and w.ham are not actually pushovers if you ask me, the first half was so shaky for city as w.ham made quite a good name for themselves, just that they couldn't find much space to make their efforts count, and yiunust have to forgive them, they can upset against best team on the land(England)

I feel West ham would beat Brighton by 2 goals to 1, I think I'm going to place a bet on this, I feel this would be the scoreline.
5912  Other / Meta / Re: Limit signature campaigns on: August 10, 2019, 06:01:22 PM
After all, with no incentive to post, we won't get horrible replies to useless threads. Smiley
I do not think this is true in any way, there are a whole lot of users who are still newbies and a lot(member to legendary rank) who are not on a signature, yet they come up with "useless" and low quality thread.

Signature isn't entirely the problem, even if it may contribute to it to an extent, but with the example above it's clear it's not wholly the cause of spam.
It's in the nature of humans to speak on issues they have paltry knowledge on.

Hat trick for Sterling too, Pep is developing him really well, he seems to get better & better every season. I wonder what odds you can get for him to be the top scorer in the PL this season. Might be worth a small bet Smiley
Raheem has developed into the player we all thought(knew)he will become, and a whole lot of credit must undoubtedly go the pep guardiola, the way he sets up his team favors sterling quite well, and he has so much faith in the lad, he plays almost all the games and hardly ever gets substituted.

I think sterling would top city's goal scoring chat this season, except of course if kun Aguero has something to say on that, on raheem being the epl top scorer, it's really worth a bet, though the competition would be stiff, salah, mane, Kane, Aguero, let's see how it unfolds
5914  Other / Meta / Re: Does this post deserve 10 merit? on: August 10, 2019, 05:16:12 PM
as a gift,...
< a gift to someone >
I do not quite agree with this, I do not believe that merits should ever be given as a gift. One of the definitions of what a gift is, is: "something gained incidentally without effort".
And effort and quality are two indispensable factors that ought to be present in one's post before such person should be merited, except it's a merit for something being comical or witty, then it's understandable.

But gifting out merits for absolutely nothing whatsoever, post lacking quality, effort, or isn't in any way witty or interesting. Then I think it's not just cool, it may not be wrong in the rules, but it just feels wrong to do so.
5915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To all the Newbies like me on: August 10, 2019, 01:52:22 PM
Every thread has a discussion so deep and knowledge full that I understood there are soo many thing that we can go and explore and earn enormous knowledge. I felt like a stupid that in this 3-4 months i never channelled my time in right direction.
I see no reason why you should feel that way, knowledge isn't something acquired spontaneously or immediately, it is a step by step procedure.
Every section of the forum is actually very important, though some are slightly less important than the others, for example the off-topic section, but in general it all depends on the individual discretion, and what you're actually looking to explore on in the forum.

The boards you had earlier frequented are also very important boards to shape your cryptocurrency/forum knowledge, the thing is just most of them have been infested by spam, making them look more or less an eyesore, compared to the bitcoin technical support section that's filled with so much technical stuff with less spam, as many users don't go there lest they make a fool of themselves.

In general every board plays it's role, for example a newbie who shuns the meta and beginners board, may not come across the rules, leaving them to probably falter in one, most probably plagiarism, which would hence lead to a permanent ban, so it's a good thing you're touching all the boards.
5916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Song about Bitcoin called Bitcoin Billionaire on: August 10, 2019, 08:30:42 AM
I think this sort of stuff tend to mislead people who do not really know much about the bitcoin, they listen to this sort of music and think they can just come into the system and become billionaires overnight, that being said when they get in and discover it's actually more strenuous than they thought, they begin to moan about the system. But you and i know it takes way more than that, patience in every sense of the word must be a present factor.

I nevertheless appreciate the effort of the artist in trying to draw the attention of people to the bitcoin network, I just hope it serves it's right/correct purpose.

Currently watching the match, just pause to drop this comment here. My prediction is going quite well, Mo salah has his goal, Liverpool are 4 goals up. Just knew they'll score more than 3 goals but never thought all will be in the first half. With this form liverpool can easily score 6 goals but still stand on the 5 goals mark.
I'm also watching the game and it has quickly turned into a stroll in the park for Liverpool, Norwich showed a little bit of good attacking play in the first half, but Liverpool have proved to be too strong for them to handle.Though as a Manchester City fan I hope this form doesn't continue.

I think Liverpool will take their foot off the gas in this second half, and the game will end 5:1, let me get back to the game. Grin
5919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 09, 2019, 07:06:05 PM
Bad news for Manchester city today as sane is out for close to seven months with a damaged ACL he suffered in the community shield against Liverpool, I feel quite sorry for the lad as he's set to miss almost all of the season through injury. Due to this bayerns interest have been cut off.

He'll be missed by city, but not on a large scale as pep has enough depth in his squad to cover up for the loss, I think sterling will play at wide left for most part of the season while Bernardo is also an option in that role.
5920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 09, 2019, 05:31:24 PM
That being said, I do hope Barca or Real stop dominating the domestic league. I'd prefer another team to win the league, like what happened with Leicester. That will create an amazing story.
That also happened in the Spanish LA liga some seasons back when Athletico Madrid won the league, the thing is such feat is actually very difficult to replicate, even Diego simeone openly made that claim upon winning the league title that season, Madrid and Barcelona dominate the Spanish league, and i do not know when it'll ever stop.

I think the competition would be stiff between the two dominant trams(barca and Madrid)this season, they both made reinforcements and also lost quite a few players, but I'll be solidly behind Madrid to come on on top in the end.
