5921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: April 23, 2018, 08:49:44 PM
So this happened to me twice this week, first I sold Bitcoin Cash and the next day, it started booming and has not up considerably and still going strong, then I sold Golem and boom it goes too.

What do you do in such situations? When you finally sell for a small profit after a long wait but then you realize that you missed on big profit with you bad timing.
How do you deal with this? Any tips to minimize this or overcome after such bad timing decisions?
I have experienced this thing several times which i do really say that this is one of the things why we dont easily sell on where theres a feeling that the price might shoot up later on but there are instances that we would really need to sell out no matter what the price. We do end up on regretting later when we see the price shoots up after we sell but well we should not regret as long we do make profits even though its just small but much better than have nothing at all or comes worse you did panic sell.
5922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold or sell and buy back lower on: April 23, 2018, 08:00:28 PM
Few days ago I was like wake in my nightmare I've been holding my coins 3 months ago and without doing anything because all I know before is it's better to hold and hold but few days ago I was wake up in this nightmare those 3 months passed it's all wasted because I never increased my coins but only kept it, that was my bad. And today I am trying to trade and it is not easy but it's also difficult.
About 5% of traders on the market are successful at a long distance. It is very complex, intellectual, very nervous, exhausting work. When you get to a growing market, you might think that you are a very good trader. But as we saw, many traders lost a lot of money a couple of months ago. The market gave a slap to very many traders
We cant really give an exact percentage on how many traders could able to withdstand this very volatile market and a crucial tug of war between sellers and buyers. If we do talk on forex trading only 5% do really able to become successful i dont know if it would be similar to cryptomarket or even more lower but i would say its not really that hard to make money due to very high volatileness.
5923  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to replace coins as quickly and cheaply as possible ? on: April 22, 2018, 11:46:04 PM

So what criteria do you use to choose a good, reliable stock exchange?
Whether mainly market cap, withdrawal speed / deposit speed. Trouble-free operation and assistance in case of problems. Or maybe something else, the number of new currencies on the stock exchange?

So you do not want to entrust your personal data to a respectable exchanges out there but you would trust the recommendations of random people here on the forum? Interesting...
Just do you own research and don't rely on other people's opinions.

Since he doesnt have any idea yet then its not really bad to take or listen on someones idea when it comes to suggestions. If you have chosen someones advice then its up to you if you would able to follow it up with corresponding research about it which will able to convince you on on following it. For now i can suggest always go for top reputable stock exchange but i cant assure if information given would be secured on what you are trying to seek up.
5924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We as a community must boycott Coinmarketcap.com on: April 22, 2018, 10:30:55 PM
https://medium.com/@coinmarketcapped/intro-how-coinmarketcap-cmc-manipulates-the-market-by-showing-fraudulent-information-to-the-c1246a953144

after reading this article i think we as a community need to boycott cmc. they control the narrative for so many coins and the market is totally oblivious. its easy for them to update 'inaccurate information' at a convenient time to boost the marketcap of the coin. this is incredibly sketchy!! they are probably insider trading.

the fact that we all use coinmarketcap as our de facto standard for marketcap metric is not healthy in the market for one organization to hold this much power. what about a blockchain solution for ranking system for all blockchain projects?! see audit of all coins..

there's so many other sites
onchainfx
coinloop
spirai
cryptowatch
even BINANCE has their own repo of marketcaps individually calculated and updated according to their information.

don't even get me started on why we should total supply (not circulating) to calculate marketcap. what do u think? is coinmarketcap legit?

There is no valid reason you guys are saying here to boycott the CMC. From the starting time to now. No one reason or problem has been done with any people. I do not know these shared websites are legit or not.
But I believe this website is always for any new cryptocurrency investors.
People really wanna use the best site find the top cois in the market. Except this nothing works better mate.
I dont know whats on their minds and what they are trying to prove or fight on here about CMC. It might have some issues but not generally a big thing just on my part.I dont know for others but those are just on minimal. CMC would still remain on its spot on where it is commonly used as it should be.If you dont like to use CMC anymore due to such issue you can leave anytime yet there are alternatives in the market which do have similar function.
5925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE coin will it go beyond $1, why & why not? on: April 22, 2018, 09:09:40 PM
Doge to reach for 1$? on how? try to see the status it is on rank 34 on the cap but still the the price didn't even pump and I would not surprise that this coin will be later dumped by its holders since seems there's no earning movements came unto it nor profitability is very far to be seen since its long long time stable coin.
When it comes to price movement or we gonna look out on the charts we would able to say price is somehow stable which is actually right. It moves but really on very minimal satoshi range which does means it isnt really profitable into its holders and just looking out on the entire supply then anytime it can be dumped and theres no way for it to be pumped yet i dont see anything special to this coin.
5926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new way to earn cryptocurrency without investing? on: April 22, 2018, 07:49:15 PM
You can also join in trading and in mining but it only takes time.
You can also join in some bounties inorder to earn.

Patience and hard work is needed if you want to gain bitcoin or altcoins.

Crypto can be a fast. But normaly you need time an the right instincts.
In short you would really still need to be smart and hardworking so that you will able to grasp the money making opportunities on this cryptoworld. Earning without any investment can be achieved and same as you advised it would really takes time which we should not really be on hurry and do things gradually and wisely. Being greedy shouldnt really be removed on oneself if you dont like to mess up.
5927  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your rules for profit taking on: April 22, 2018, 07:20:14 PM
When do you withdraw funds? Do you sell into fiat or USDT? Im thinking something like this: After a 50% increase sell 20% into USDT, repeat. Reinvest in dips. When 100% increased sell 20% into fiat
If the project will turn out to be useless then I will convert all my funds into fiat, its futile to wait to a specific coin without any assurance that the coins or token will bring any real usages and solutions to our current problems to the cryptocurrency and real world, while other coins like bitcoin, ethereum and other legit cryptos are tested to have a recovery during the bear season then holding is the most profitable move to make if you are holding some of them, its hard to predict when and how the increase will last you may miss some opportunity or you may inflict some losses so be wise with your decisions to sell.
Does it really depend on which coins you are engaging on and not only this thing i do see as an indicator but also if you do make active tradings or scalping out percentage profits then you will really go for those who have top volumes on 24hour basis. This is really very pertaining into very active trade, if you do have the skills and capability. Then why not?
Profit taking do depend on peoples/investors preference some are going for long term and some do loves shorter ones.
5928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Eth Hit 1000$?? on: April 22, 2018, 06:44:17 PM
The market is start moving. Is it possible to hit 1000$ with in next month..??
We did able to hit up that range or even more which ETH reached 1.2k usd as far as i remember and now its price corrected and dips almost 60% to its ath and now we are clinging up once again. We wont know on when it would happen on reaching that 1k once again but rest assured we will hit up that price but it do really takes patience because that goal wont really happen over time.It might be on next days, months, years, decades to come.
5929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: April 22, 2018, 06:20:22 PM
Bank have regulator and Crypto don't have regulator,In bank we can save money with stable price and in crypto we can save money with volatile price so the difference in bank and in crypto are so big so there's no need to pick what is better and better to use both because they have different worth actually a thing run because of their worth so in future still we need this both if your insight's good

Why the fuck we need the regulator to manage our money! They are just shit according to me. I only use my bank for converting my bitcoins into fiat cash. If you keep your fund on banks they internally utilize that fund on share market and elsewhere.
I do not like that shit to happen at all. If bitcoins comes to market then no one can rule the crypto world mate.
Why so bitter with banks? I presumed you do still make use its service. We do know people do entrust their savings or money with those institutions yet these are the traditional things where people do make use. They do confidently leave out their money because of the security unlike on just storing it up on their own houses. Which one would you prefer? Banks would stay no matter what since everything on this world is regulated.
5930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get Forex traders to trade in Bitcoin ? on: April 21, 2018, 09:50:12 PM
There are many similar things and concepts in both of this areas, but there is also a lot of differences, so maybe just show a diversity of a market, lol!
The advantage here of a person specially to those who are already in forex for longer periods which they can really diversify out and as being said above there would be lots of options which is good in their part as a trader. Bitcoin is famous and theres no way that a certain trader wont able to hear out this thing. Volatility might be the issue but also the main thing to have potentially big profits specially on active day trades.
5931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Survival of the fittest on: April 21, 2018, 09:10:57 PM
I also believe that only the strongest coins will survive. It seems to me that promising coins are all coins with their own blockchain, exchange coins and private coins. These categories of projects will always be in demand.
We have already seen lots of altcoins in the market which i do see that most of them are trash and also most of them flooding out with erc20 tokens which they do rely on eth platform.I agree on what you have said that only coins will able to survive are to those ones who do have their own chain compared on using up other platform. We do already see the potential ones which are mostly on the top of the cap.
5932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Platform Became Attractive For The Bounty Hunter on: April 21, 2018, 08:29:29 PM
haloo all,

I want to ask you a little bit about the bounty you follow,
a lot of ICO issued and became an attraction for some people including myself, then I try to follow every bounty that exists.

is there anything that is of interest to you in following a bounty, if any then what is your reason in following it and how your judgment in the ICO.

I myself still can not judge how the platform is good or not because until now I just follow bounty alone without know this good or not, maybe because I'm new in this world so I still do not have enough experience in the rate.

are there any tips and tricks you can give me so that I can learn from you who have long in following this bounty.

thanks Huh
Theres no such trick yet these things do really require proper research and knowledge on where as an investor you would really need to be keen on selecting projects which do have potential and do have good projected plans for the future that it do really have real world benefit and somehow unique among others. This thing might easy to say but would really be hard to implement considering that there are lots of projects/coins in the market which would really make the job even more harder.
5933  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beat CoinMarketCap on: April 21, 2018, 07:50:56 PM
Thank you all for links. After looking through this topic i checked https://www.cryptocompare.com/ and it is good and comfortable to use. Will check other links for sure.

I am aware of both cryptocompare and coinmarketcap websites mate. Really both are linked mostly. Cryptocompare gives you out all the details about the in and out bitcoin investment to usage but cryptocompare will give you space to learn the live chart on every coins and very flexible one for any person.

As op mentioned various website has been launched but none can be compare with the CMC. It is getting views as it getting that time to now.
Absolutely right there are lots of alternatives but when it comes to traffic and preference people do still stick with CMC and even myself do really have the same choice.Thank for those links being shared though which i will visit or surf those ones and might get some interest into other similar sites with CMC. As long as it can gives on the informations that we do need then its a go and this one would only matter or persons preference.
5934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Had bad experience with any exchange? on: April 21, 2018, 07:23:20 PM
The first exchange I had experience with, was Cryptopia which is awful. Terrible! You can read about it in this forum.
That’s why I stopped using it and shifted to Binance. But there are some coins (with good news associated) that are in exchanges other than Binance. Have you ever had any issue with these exchanges? I especially want to know about these guys:
kucoin.com
hitBTC.com
huobi.pro
tidex.com
coss.io
coinexchange.io
livecoin.net
I appreciate sharing your experience. I’m sure you’re not a financial adviser!

There are lots of exchangers which is good yet we do have different options on where we would able to sell out or tokens or do make active trades.
Basing on my experience ive been trading on Hitbtc and Tidex in the past which i can say i didnt experienced any problems but there are several people who do face some issues which isnt really surprising yet every exchange do have issues after all.
5935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip? on: April 21, 2018, 07:04:52 PM
Hello guys I like us to share our view on which cryptocurrency you are buying at this dip and reasons  why you think is the best shot to buy during this dip??
Many peoples are afraid in Crypto investment so few  peoples only invest in the dip. I am just hold my investment because no need to take risk in cryptocurrency. Still many coins are fluctuating in the market so when markets is stable again all are looking to invest in bitcoin and altcoins.
Hesitations cant really be avoided on where we would really worry to buy at dips because we do think that it would dip even more into its price and lose more money. For now i have bought some several alts when the market is still on deep reds and now they are climbing up again and seeing greens which do signifies i do made definitely some profits. This would really just matter on your risk management.

Edit: I have bought ETH, short time price increase made me profits. Not seeing on lower rank coins.
5936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: have great skills but no money to invest on: April 21, 2018, 06:44:06 PM
Hey guys, I have been trading altcoins and getting awsome results.. i'm a day trader, with a good forex background. I was trying to find out a way to get the initial investment.. Take a loan is not a option i guess, because it could increase the pressure in making money which could result in negative results.. I can even prove my skills for people interested in investing but I have never made it. I mean, invest peoples money with slave accounts and all.. Its just what i was thinking about.. What do you guys recomend that i should do to get this initial investment?
Entrusting you money would really be hard yet you didnt even put up your myfxbook results or profile which the community would able to see on how well you are on doing trading. If you are good on forex background? why wont pull out those funds? it isnt really necessary for you to have big bankroll yet you can able to earn gradually to make it big.As i have read you are already trading altcoin with good results which i can presume you do have some enough money to start on. Just proceed though.
5937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is rank of bounty manager is really matters? on: April 21, 2018, 06:25:54 PM
i think it's matter.
If the ICO team has a really good project and sure it will produce a lot of investors, the project team should rent an expensive and good bounty managers to handle the bounty campaign.
This one! but there are really instances which the project members do make their own marketing on their own which they do create even newbie accounts to handle their own bounty campaigns.I have seen such bounty programs that been doing this and successfully handled their campaign in the end and paid up participants. There still some low rank members that can able to handle it out,we wont know if they do really have experienced in the very first place or not but i would say most of the time people here on this forum do always prefer the reputable and famous ones.
5938  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Low activity long term BTC investing? on: April 20, 2018, 10:49:35 PM
This days, it's so hard to find a trusted bitcoin loan company that don't have the main idea of scamming people off their hard earn money. You might find if you keep searching. I too have some bitcoins cooling off in my wallet and I intend to keep them there for a very long time. It's best the coins stay there and give a good profit after a long time than been used in an investment that will yearn absolutely nothing.
If you will keep your bitcoin for long time then I am sure you will get high amount of profit and you will not lose any ting but same as past I will say you will have to hold for long time. Waiting more will reduce your profit to invest, bitcoin has been trusting by the people since long and with the time it is getting stronger and getting wide for sure,. Bitcoin increase but we will have to give our bitcoin a chance to show us hoe beneficial it is,  so bitcoin holding activity is now increasing because people are holding and investing in bitcoin more than before.
Well, you can do the long term if you forget your bitcoin for up to 1 year and so on, which is impossible in the other side. Specially if your main income is from crypto currencies. So it's better to have some source of income in real job in reality than this. If not, like usually happen, most of bitcoiner fall in to a panic decision like month of February. So learn to control your self and make a good decision by balancing some point.
Most longterm holders are the ones who do have sufficient back up funds for them to live. Having no day job would be risky and you just rely on longer term profits which is not possible this is why we do see traders who do actively do trading for the sake on making money on shortest possible time.Depending on your financial situation on what kind of trading you would do either for short term or long term.
5939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader Future life? on: April 20, 2018, 10:01:38 PM
How is trader life in the future?A trader is the country's wealth?
Being a successful trader wont really be easily achieved which means you would pass up lots of trials and errors for you to achieve such state and once you got it right then expect future would be somehow insured due for you to have the capability on making money out of the market. Trading market do really have lots of areas which can be classified into traditional like forex and stocks and now theres an add up into more very profitable but very volatile crypto market and as a trader it would be an another way on making money but you should really be aware on the risk on price volatility. If trader is earning good then taxation is expected which will really give advantage.

Twitter to ban cryptocurrency adverts on its platform

https://punchng.com/twitter-to-ban-cryptocurrency-adverts-on-its-platform/amp/
This is quite true I'm afraid. Many popular companies, including social media platforms are banning crypto currency related adverts. The move forward to ban stems from the recent statements regarding regulations and other legalities surrounding crypto. It's best for these large scale businesses to take the safe route, rather than chance any legal trouble.
Maybe when these clarity and guidance navigating the legal waters of crypto, these companies may once again approve of crypto advertisement placements.
Not totally a ban on where it do prohibits crypto related adverts but this decision do really acts as a tighter restriction when it comes to crypto currency ads to prevent scam and do secure out possible investors which i do see a good thing which it do lessen potential frauds. For now i still sees some advertisement related to crypto but not as rampant as way before.
