Well I can't blame you because I also have bad experience in some real estates project before but lately I see a lot of good news regarding the adoption of real estate projects that is based on blockchain technology and more project like Cestates has pop-out in this space so it came to my mind that people are gradually accepting the new era for real estate transactions.
On a wider view the whole real estate industry will greatly benefit from Cestates because of the improvement it provides in transparency and efficiency on any real estate transactions. Cestates team are very confident with their platform so lets have some patience and trust with them.

you are correct but do not forget that brokers will also benefit on cestates platform because they don't need to meet their clients personally but they can still sell properties through listing on the cestates platform and get their commission much faster compare to the traditional way. I don't know, last year I followed some real estate projects that weren't successful, the business model was the same. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but here, where I live, for example, there are real estate companies that accept BTC and other cryptocurrencies as a form of payment. Don't be so negative, keep buying the strong coins on dips and I'm sure you will still gain profits even the market won't go on bullish this year. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology has lot to offer but it will takes a longer time before it fully realize all over the world.

Possible partnership of the platform towards banks would really be helpful to make it broad but it might be also a factor for another profit and/or expenses to surmount.
Well i guess it would be a very big possibility for them to do that coz technically real estate transactions are mostly linked into banks so i guess it's a big possibility. Yes this is a big possibility because like the other real estate project out there, who are making a partnership or agreement with banks in able to remove the trust issues from property owners. It would be hard though because banks are not really into cryptocurrency but I hope Cestates can make it. |

Are there similar platforms in your area? It interests me from the point of view of the competitive environment. If I am correct Cestates will be the first real estate project that use tokenization and blockchain technology in the Philippines although they have a lot of competitors globally like Propy, Atlant, Real, CPROP and many more. there is one project named aqwire with the same concept as cestates that is located in philippines, they launched their private sale last year but unfortunately they have failed to reach the targeted soft cap and the community became inactive in the last few weeks though the founder mention that they will continue their project. Oh I see thank you for this information mate! this is my first time hearing about Aqwire but on the lighter note it seems that Philippines have becoming more friendly with cryptocurrency because of this blockchain based projects and I'm sure that more will follow in the near future that would make the competition more tighter. |

Its part of trading sometimes you will see market green & sometime red. You don’t have to worry when you see market red, it can be temporarily & will be green soon when coins & tokens have been traded in bulk.

So true! the fact is we can't deny that these modern technologies is really solving real-life problems and makes our life much more easier than before, there is always a room for improvement and I think that Cestates are fully prepared before they enter on this space. i guess you were right as far as i can see the cestates team are cautious on giving out some information to the public because they wanted to do it in a legal way which is good to remove trust issues from potential investors of this project. With the current market condition, it is a must to have a different approach to attract those investors and that is what Cestates has been doing. They are making sure that everything is on place before doing anything since the competition in real estate industry is quite big. |

Why did we use NEM?
We actually considered using other protocols such as, of course Ethereum as the first choice, followed by NEM and Polymath. But, as per checking the business need of our model, it will not be viable for us to use Ethereum since we are dealing with real estate which can have a lot of unexpected things to possibly happen from time to time during the transaction.
We decided to use NEM because it is easy for our developers to build the system and integrate everything with the use of restful APIs, it is also less time consuming and cost effective for us since we don't need to hire solidity programmers which might cost a lot and not very practical for a startup who didn't have an ICO. Our approach is to provide the platform and the product first before we go to the public and ask for their contribution to help us further improve C Estates.

this is a big challenge to the team, how they will introduce the use of blockchain/ bitcoin to the public in order to use such currencies vs local money. we all know that not every people here in phillipines can afford, instead they use bank financing to acquire a properties. bank should have a good idea in this case...
you're right in the difficulty of this ico situation because the first reason is that the crypt is pretty bad today so no ico is bad. but we are confident the team is aware that this project will succeed, we support for investors. Aside from that, finalizing the deal entails physical presence. Real estate platform via blockchain is still a complicated area for me. This is not as simple as it seems. You have a point because the legal barriers are really high in real estate market especially on buying a property internationally and linking the property into a digital share. I wonder how will Cestates address these issue to make real estate market easy for everyone as they mention. |

I see some bounty campaigns doing escrow to give some assurance to bounty hunters that they will get paid at the end of campaign but the thing is even if you got paid and the team runs with money collected or stop developing the project then your coin will have no value. The point is bounty hunters should be very picky on choosing campaign to avoid promoting scam projects.
