61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: some alts with extremely % today. on: November 26, 2019, 05:03:22 PM
How to know which alts will "explode" after dips like this one.

Therer are lot of pump & dump group that you can follow and some crypto gurus who share their predictions but none of them will give you assurance to gain profit because they are  just trying their luck and you're betting with it. The pump of a coin will rely on the project owners itself sicne they are the one who will drive demand for their own coin so you must study each coin that you think has potential to grow and get updates as much as possible if you don't want to miss the chance when the coin price increased.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale transfers $310 millions worth bitcoins for a ridiculously low fee!!! on: November 25, 2019, 06:42:19 PM
Low transaction fees are one of the advantages of Bitcoin and banks will not be able to compete with it unless they integrate the same technology or just accept Bitcoin for international transfer to lessen the hassle Wink. Sooner or later more people will know about this and banks will be out of the picture if they don't make any changes with the transaction fees.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are dropping too much... on: November 25, 2019, 06:24:16 PM
Is there a possibility of a rise in the future?

Of course, anything is possible to happen in crypto-space.

If you say yes, when will the trend turn around?
And how much will Bitcoin prices go up on end of this year?

No one can give you an accurate answer because the market is volatile and unpredictable but keep it on your mind that Bitcoin will not always stay in the bottom, the day for its rise will happen eventually and no one can stop it. Take this opportunity to acquire more Bitcoin while its cheap and thank me later  Wink
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 25, 2019, 05:58:12 PM
IMHO long-term holding are only profitable for Bitcoin and few altcoins because the market is still maturing but doing short-term trading is not bad either as long as you gain some profit. Also, don't forget that some people prefer long-term holding because of less hassle since they don't need to to be updated on the market movement everyday and just wait for the right time to sell.

Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise.

Are you a prohpet that knows when is the peak and bottom Huh
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 25, 2019, 05:25:41 PM
I think it's a new way for developers to attract people about cryptocurrency since a large portion of world's population owned a Smartphone. I have never tried mining through mobile phone but upon reading a lot of feedback, it seems that its not profitable and will only cause you to damage your own phone because of the mining difficulties and reward you could possibly get each day.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 25, 2019, 05:11:27 PM
Most of the time once a project get listed on a top exchanges then the price of their native tokens will increase for a short period of time especially if they hired a market maker which I think is included in top exchanges but after a few weeks or months of listing, the the price of their coin/token will gradually decrease if the team owners has no big update with the project so it's not olny about getting listed in top exchange but on how the project will perform during the next few months after the crowdfunding.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2019, 06:37:01 PM
Making the bitcoin market price staying in under a 1000$ for a long time and wait for the people to lose interest in it.

There is no goverment that has power to control the price of Bitcoin and lets say that even if they did lower the price under $1000 for a long time, how sure they are that people will lose interest in Bitcoin? and what if some people take this as an opportunity to buy large amount of Bitcoin then the demand increase as well as the price so that kind of thinking will not work.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 24, 2019, 06:19:29 PM
When the market goes down remember that this is a great moment to buy and hodl! Always remember that.

You're right because no one knows what could happen in the next coming and this might be the last market dump until we reach a new all-time-high so instead of having negative thoughts why not take this as an opportunity to buy Bitcoin while its cheap. Buy low - Hold - sell high, this is not new but I find it very profitable especially on Bitcoin.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask hacked ? on: November 24, 2019, 05:28:08 PM
can this be changelly transaction ?

Do you mean that if you can recover your alleged hack Ether? Then answer is No since it's a success transaction and it happened over 2 weeks ago so there is no way to reverse the transaction. Also, it was already transfer on Hitbtc contract which is hard to trace where your Ether went. I suggest you create transfer all your funds on a new wallet but before that you must check if your computer or laptop is not compromised.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 24, 2019, 04:14:06 PM
what do you think about year 2020? will it be a very good year for IEO and bounty hunters?

I expect a lot of possitive things to happen next year due to the upcoming Bitcoin halving specifically on recovery of the market though I'm not sure if it will be good for new project since crypto investor these days are very selective and they usually invest to a project or coin that has been on the market for a long time or have a working product which means it's not good also for bounty hunters unless there are some solid project that will be launch next year.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three Million USDC Freshly Minted Likely Another Whale Looking to Buy the Dip on: November 23, 2019, 04:35:52 PM
The market crash is always an opportunity for crypto investors especially for the whales so I wouldn't be surprised if the market suddenly recovers because these kind of people are just wating until the market reach it's bottom then make a large amount buy orders.

As I browsed my Facebook, I saw a post from someone saying that Bitcoin’s support level as of today would be $7k.

Actually on November 22 based on coinmarketcap, Bitcoin was trading around $6980 so the support level of $7000 can be disregarded.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump is the cause of drop prices bitcoin on: November 23, 2019, 01:07:20 PM
It is given that Trump may influence the price of Bitcoin but he is not the only reason for what is happening in the market today. Trump is a prominent businessman before he became president so I was thinking that maybe he has ulterior motive on his past actions like spreading FUD's and when Bitcoin is cheap then buy it anonymously.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Trading competition good way to earn money? on: November 22, 2019, 06:37:11 PM
Trading competition is not suitable for some traders who have limited funds because your chances of winning is very low as long as there are large holder of coin or have huge amount of funds that will participate then they will be always the winner at the end but somehow I think other traders participate on this for short-term to gain a quick profit.
74  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum is 10 years old! on: November 22, 2019, 06:23:07 PM
Since the forum is 10 years old, I'm giving 10 merits Wink

Happy 10 years old bitcointalk.org
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here’s How Much of Each Major Altcoin Is Owned by Whales on: November 22, 2019, 05:48:09 PM
Among these crypto whales there are a lot of those who respect this market and they will never play dirty. However, the presence of these whales on the market is a big risk for ordinary traders.
Exactly so, they hold for a long time normal traders trading for short-term profits and they do not have the patience to make the most optimal profit. I saw a Poloniex user account in May 2017 bought an amount of XLM equivalent to the exchange rate of about 1000BTC at the time. And later that year XLM took off alongside Bitcoin. If you pay attention and follow the way of the whales with the same patience, you definitely won't lose.

We can say that whales are one of the big supporter of crypto but due to the large portion of the coin they hold, they have the power to manipulate the market especially if those whales will coordiante with each other but the fact is they will not let the crypto market goes to zero because they gain profit from it and a huge amount of their money is at stake.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 22, 2019, 05:40:09 PM
With the current market condition I think it's really hard for a project to survive so as a bounty hunter you should only promote a project that you think have a concrete plan or marketing strategy to attract investors. In addition, the project should be solving real-life problems in order to be useful in the future as it will increase demand for the coin and your work will be paid off.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a new process to reject more user from getting tokens? on: November 21, 2019, 06:27:24 PM
In every campaigns there are some requirements in order to receive your rewards so even if you are done on your work and just waiting for your rewards, you should be attentive if there is new update from their bounty channels because if you become inactive then its likely possible to lose your rewards since they are setting timeframes for claiming and distribution.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Reddit add Bitcoin as a payment method for their Reddit coins? on: November 21, 2019, 05:41:08 PM
Reddit accepted bitcoin for years, from 2013 to 2018. They stopped accepting it at the start of last year. The reason they stated was that multiple users were experiencing bugs with payments via Coinbase, and they wanted to see how well Coinbase Commerce worked first before considering if they would re-enable bitcoin payments.

https://www.ccn.com/reddit-disables-bitcoin-payments-amid-coinbase-commerce-overhaul-but-are-they-gone-forever/

If that's the case then there is no need for petition since it's highly possible that Reddit will re-activate Bitcoin payments once they see a good progress from Coinbase side. I'm pretty sure that those users who experience some bug with their payment didn't wish to remove Bitcoin as an option instead they want the Coinbase or Reddit to fix the issue so it means that the demand for Bitcoin is still on the table.
79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2019, 05:07:19 PM
Since anything is possible in crypto space, I will go for multiple holding wherein 70% in Bitcoin and 30% in altcoins. It is given that majority of us are trusting Bitcoin but we never knew what can happen in the future so for me it's still good to hold some strong altcoin to maximize my investment in the long run.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im done with this shit on: November 21, 2019, 04:48:50 PM
Price dumping is natural in Bitcoin market so if you can't take it then leave it, simple as that. You frustration of losing money in gambling, the Bitcoin price decline and negative thinking will not make you feel better but it may cause you to lose even more because you're not in the right state of mind so you might consider to pause your gambling for now.
