61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: August 31, 2018, 12:12:14 PM
Technical question: does InstantX have transaction finality?  If so, by when and how does it work if the blockchain reorganizes?

Thanks to anyone who can answer.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: August 30, 2018, 02:27:36 PM
People bitching about wager this and wager that look at the number of masternodes:

Total: 2221 (IPv4: 2199 / IPv6: 3 / Tor: 19 / Unknown: 0)

2221 masternodes in the notwork. Not 22, not 50 but over 2000!

This shows the real support for the project.

Truly

Anyone know do you send Wagerr to the the Waves Exchange from your Wagerr mainnet wallet for trading?
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: August 30, 2018, 02:25:43 PM
Great to see all the progress here.  When is smart contract support coming out?

Would like to hear the plans for something like Dash's InstantX over the BFT nodes?
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: August 30, 2018, 02:23:10 PM
TenX can't code.  Ripped everyone off.  Lots of crayons and colors.

Nano project has done some innovative things, but it's getting way more attention than it should and Semux too little attention.

Community Stress Test Results
Last Thursday, the community organized and carried out a stress test on the beta network. Our team would like to thank those who participated. Most participants reported average transactions per second of 70–90 over a thirty-minute period.

Semux therefore much faster than Nano.

During live Semux community beta testing Semux acheived 5,000 transactions / block.  Block time is 28 seconds: Semux achieved 5,000transactions/28sec = 178 transaction/sec !!!  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked  Grin

That's 88-108 transactions a second more than Nano.  In other words Semux can handle 1.9 - 2.5 times the throughput of Nano.  Unlike nano though...Semux is actually decentralized, trustless and secure!

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: August 20, 2018, 01:28:57 PM
Semux is an innovative high-performance blockchain platform that supports decentralized applications. this platform has advantages over other platforms; Semux uses the original 100% code base, User transactions are completed in 30 seconds, High Performance Tested 5,000 tx per block on an open and Secure network because it is supported by the Semux BFT consensus

But you missed two of the biggest selling points:

++ As a BFT system it enjoys Transaction Finality after a single confirmation
++ The code has been tested in production and could handle 5,000 txs per block!  That's extremely impressive!

Better add these to your list.

Hopefully they will start weekly Blockfolio Signal articles during the release of the smart contract VM.. There will be lots of announce and brag about!   Shocked
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: August 20, 2018, 01:23:13 PM
,,,looks like good time to get some cheap clams !!!

I've had to sell a few CLAMS at this prices... it's just brutal to know how small our market cap is while selling!

Less than 1000 BTC buys the whole pot?

CLAM is a POS coin, so i think a lot of people keep the coins staking in a wallet instead of locked in a order inside an exchange. But they will probably put it to sell if the price goes up a lot, as happened before. JDice wallets were more than 70% of the network, but dropped to aprox. 35-40% after a bullrun months ago.

Don't see what this has to do with buy orders on an exchange since those would normally be ETH and BTC, rather than CLAMS for sale.  I can see how what you applies only for selling clams.

Hello,  semux technical already for using?  for example if i am add sem to exchange it's will working fine?  Or  it not stably right now and need time to develop?

It's very stable. Devs working on new features mainly a VM for Smart Contracts.

Semux is highly stable and the code is high quality and clean.  Been flying under the radar for some time.  We all know what will happen when things are revealed....  Shocked Shocked

big movement on vm implementation, devs work hard :-)

https://github.com/semuxproject/semux-core/pull/53

Excellent work!

You guys should start sending out Blockfolio Signals.  That would get your project a lot of attention and the success it really deserves for all the amazing work you are doing.

 Cool

Does anyone else think this is a good idea?
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: August 20, 2018, 01:13:38 PM
Watch out guys!  There's a twitter scam if you follow the latest TenX Blockfolio Signal''s twitter link!  Once on twitter it's disguised under a 10,000 ETH giveaway that is spoofed to look like it's been posted by TenX themselves.

The Blockfolio article carrying this link is the one posted 5 hours ago by Dr. Julian Hosp with text starting as:

"Final card design approved by Issuer. Physical cards ready. If you're wondering..."

Below this Signal text there is the twitter URL containing the scam:

https://mobile.twitter.com/tenxwallet/status/1031392383991132160?s=19

Scroll down until you see the 10,000 ETH give away that's made to look like it comes from the TenX team.

You don't see it if you browse directly to the TenX twitterfeed, but only if you follow the latest blockfolio article.  Weird!  Any ideas how this ended up in Blockfolio?

Maybe Dr Hosp needs to be more careful where he gets his own links?!?

For the record, I think Blockfolio is good and Signals are a super feature, but scams like this being injected into the feed kinda sux!!!!!!!!!  Thought one of the points of Signals was to help avoid scams.  (https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/blockfolio-signal-communication-platform-launches-for-crypto-tracking-app/)

Guys; there is no blockchain, so what exactly are you speculating on?  I see a number of issues with metronome.

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: July 04, 2018, 04:23:50 PM
I just don't get Tezos.  They have the space overhead of per block endorsers without the advantage of transaction finality. Semux wins hands down.

Semux is probably the best new cryptocurrency of 2018

stocks.exchange is a good start.

It's so funny.  Everyone is so hyped up dumping money into EOS which "will have delegated BFT" meanwhile semux already has delegated BFT running live right now!
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] EOS - Decentralize Everything on: May 31, 2018, 04:16:54 PM
does EOS have a block reward?  Is it minable?   max supply?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: May 29, 2018, 08:25:55 AM
Will dero ever switch to proof of stake?

While nothing has been completely ruled out, I believe we're sticking with PoW for the foreseeable future. There is a thread going on our forums if you'd like to discuss some ideas related to PoS though. (https://forum.dero.io/t/creating-robust-secure-energy-efficient-and-decentralized-blockchain-network/405/38)

Thanks

Devs what improvements will Semux make over how Ethereum EVM and smart contracts work?
