167 tx/s is very fast for the current blockchain confirmation speed, and if it is based on decentraland, I think SEM will be a great change.
That's a great achievement, but just the tip of the iceberg for Semux. Just above (in this thread) the semux dev confirmed Semux can handle 10,000 txs/block, but they have just limited it to 5,000 for now. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159012.msg26798734#msg26798734Semux == game changer

I can't wait the launch on Jan 15th!!!
Anyone selling WGR? I want to accumulate to run a masternode! Where can I buy?
|
|
|
How can I get a bunch of this coins?
|
|
|
I don't really care if there's escrow or not. What I do care about is if dev could spare some time to answer questions and give more technical discussion.

My machine... running nothing else has frozen up. Looks like a memory leak. Also do you use any kind of atomic DB or just flat files?

Any particular reason it is named cheatcoin?
We realized that this is a bad name. For English users it sounds too rough. Now we are considering an alternative name dawncoin. How about Nectar? The sweat stuff you get from a flower...

Please send me some cheatcoins so I can help test

I donated because the fundamentals are good. A privacy-based DAG coin called Stone. There is really a lot of risks donating at this point (only an idea, anonymous dev, single small thread) so 30% is commensurate in my opinion. Of course, all that matters now is development and product release. There are hundreds of similar threads that have never gone anywhere. Good luck dev! You have my support.
Yes, I also agree 30% is commensurate. If the developer can elaborate a bit more and show his technical knowledge, then there could be quite a lot of donations sent.

RaiBlocks can only avoid the Sybil attack by balance-weighting the POS mechanism. This cannot be done if the balances are hidden using ZKsnarks. How do you propose to solve this?
One possible solution is having to reveal balance to participate in PoS yourself, or to use snarks to delegate to a chosen voter (which can reveal the sum he'd been delegated but not from which account it came). Would be nice to let the dev answer, since he's the one raising donations.

Thanks for your input, the name Stone was derived from RaiStones. Not all Stones sink I think you should go for something with more diffientiation, like RaiSnarks or RAZK. Orrrr just something unrelated like Nectar? A fair amount of how XRB works depends on being able to see balances of accounts and their respective chains. How can delegates vote on whether a anonymous transfer was valid if they cannot see the amounts?
Please let the developer proposing this project answer.
That's correct, however they only realistically need to communicate to each other, not the network as a whole, i will make this work. RaiBlocks can only avoid the Sybil attack by balance-weighting the POS mechanism. This cannot be done if the balances are hidden using ZKsnarks. How do you propose to solve this?

Can someone explain this to me. How can the blockchain be ' high-performance' when it's written in Java ? Isn't that a contradiction ? If someone told me it's written in C, i might believe them when they claim high performance. Or what is high-performance when not the code? Someone care to elaborate ?
Blockchain measures performance by how many transactions can it process per block and less on how fast the language used to create it. Currently Semux can handle up to 5000tx per block every 30 seconds. Which is faster than most blockchain project that I know of. That's high performance. So about 167 tx/s? Is there any project with a traditional blockchain that handles more transactions per second? Ethereum was lower than 167. There is a number left in my mind which is 70 but not sure it is true or not. I tried to find the current number but couldn't find it. Anyway it is great to handle 5000tx per block and will rise in time too. Last I was aware devs were saying 10,000 txs/sec will be possible. Can any devs confirm or deny?

in it about 2 months before the distribution was discontinued only able to hodl around 700+XRB, at that time it was ~2000s and now ~27000s talk about getting rich 100x times, I wish I had more Massive correction underway!

Can we mine that coin ?
Is dPOS BFT do you need to get some airdrop and buy some Semux to start mining.

Count me in on your project.
Smart chain = blockchain with smart contracts?
correct Smart Chain is a blockchain that supports smart contracts. What problems does Sirius solve that goes beyond ETH?
Initial cost of entry (ETH price vs Free), no miner pressure ( Sirius is 100% MPOS ) Developer and community oriented free distribution vs ICO. Great - can't wait to hear the details on how to join and start supporting the network.

Wow, there are so many Newbie! We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Exactly... tons of newbies... maybe of them appear strangely knowledgeable.

What's new about this coin?
Better get some Semux instead
