61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which describes you in Crypto? on: October 17, 2018, 02:46:43 AM
This is a tweet from a CEO of one cryptocurrency project that I am supporting with. I was a follower of him on twitter as per visiting his account earlier this big question captured my attention.

Which are you in #crypto?

Smart Money:
- Invests on hard data & sound fundamentals
- Long term approach (years)
- Leaves out emotion & keeps focus

Dumb Money:
- Follows the masses & chases pumps
- Short term mindset
- Buys & sells in huge chunks instead of dollar cost averaging

I described myself to be a Smart Money because of longterm mindset and keeping in focus and leaving out emotions. I treasure the possibility of what the future may bring to my investment.

I think you need to review your persona when it come to investing in crypto. I am long term investor but i don't see anything wrong in investing in short term. Dumb money should be one that has not approach at all . However, great share thanks
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT CRYPTOCURRENCY TO INVEST IN on: October 17, 2018, 02:44:30 AM

This is just my personal opinion since it’s the only thing I have tried.

My mentor told me that choosing where to invest will depend on your goal and what you want to achieve.

They say if you want to keep or conserve your money, you might want to check Bitcoin(BTC) and Litecoin(LTC).

If your goal is primarily long-term, then you can go ahead and invest with BitcoinCash(BCH) or Ethereum(ETH).

You want something accessible and less pricey? Then Litecoin(LTC) will be perfect for you.

But for me personally, I chose to invest in all. That is because it can be all of the above at the same time. You can conserve your money, it can be long term, and its easier for me to invest on multicoinbank investment platform where i get double of my investment after 10 days. With that, i invest in BTC,ETH,BCH, and LTC since i still get my returns not bothering about the fluctuations of the cryptocurrencies. just visit https://www.multicoinbank.com and thank me later.

www.multicoinbank.com

It is great that you are on the right track in your investment. You have a solid strategy to invest in cryptocurrency. I will only say you should observe your strategy as you might need to make some changes as you review.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bank and crypto industry unite or be linked? on: October 17, 2018, 02:41:36 AM
If this will happen is it possible that decentralization be compromised?

Decentralization isn't a bad thing. It is a new way of thinking and doing business. For so long, Banks have been using centralization to develop our society and this has lead to some limitations . With Decentralization, the services of banks can go to a new level. Banks have no choice than to adopt decentralization or else they will be left out
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Scam Strategy on: October 17, 2018, 02:33:46 AM
Hi everyone,
I just want to tell everyone about the new scheme of the scammer to scam. especially those people who really doesn't understand much about centralized and decentralized trading platform.

I have read several people posting about arbitrage coins like for example MTV arbitrage
Please check this link as an example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050943

upon checking what they the link that they are using, you can see that they are pointing you to Forkdelta.
when you check the trading on https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff-ETH you will see a token named MTV  (Multiversum). The scammer wanted you to think that this token is the same token found on IDEX.
Because there is really a Multiversum on IDEX.

But if you analyze very carefully the MTV on forkdelta doesn't match in IDEX because of 2 factors.

1.) they have a different smart contract. on forkdelta (0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff) , on IDEX (0x07a7ed332c595b53a317afcee50733af571475e7)
2.) The have Different token extension. Forkdelta (MTV) , IDEX (eMTV)

I hope that this short analysis will help others to avoid this kind of scam.
make your analysis first before trying to buy or invest on a token.

Thanks so much for this information. As you know that it is becoming difficult to keep up with the practices of these Scammers which is why i am happy that a solution has been developed to resolve these issues.

Cloudbric has created a decentralized universal security platform with an open cyber threat intelligence data, that will enable users to protect their assets and activities online or on the blockchain. With their suites of solutions, it is easy to detect scams.

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC registration for ICOs? How do they verify? on: October 17, 2018, 02:27:52 AM
How do they verify identity in KYC registration? If I had a fake Id from the EU and an address would that possibly work?

I believe that using your passport ID, they can check if your details are accurate. However, i also think that having the information is very important due to regulations. What is indeed important is knowing who is keeping your information as these days, identity fraud is very common
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What thing you much check before investing in an ICO? on: October 17, 2018, 02:26:04 AM
Now I am focusing to invest in ICOs. As a regular bounty hunter, I can realize which ICO is good and which is bad. Because I follow the most trustful ICO rating website Icobench, I have enough time to read project's whitepaper and look after at their community activity. But recently I realized Icobench's rating is not everything! I want to mention some ICOs name that had an impressive positive rating! But they couldn't raise even 1 Million USD! A project like FTEC, Enkidu can be a good example. What is the reason here?

When you invest in ICOs, what thing you take seriously?

You are spot on! Just recently , a project called Levelnet was not able to launch a successful campaign despite its great idea. I believe that these days it is better to invest in ICOs that have a working product instead of an idea. Also I believe that ICOs that have an existing business structure will drive in the cryptospace

So for me, i like a project that has a working product and a experienced team
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-10-14] Major Exchanges are Delisting Coins as some Begin to Falter on: October 17, 2018, 02:22:33 AM
I think that Binance has a good reason to delist these coins but lets remember that Binance is an exchange and for profit purpose, there is no point in keeping coins that have no development. It doesn't mean these coins are bad but low volume with no progress is bad business for exchanges.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project without team members on: October 17, 2018, 02:19:35 AM
Hy all.

There is something bordering me and I will like to share with you all.  have been wondering if we need any Jupiter to tell us that a project without team members and no whitepapers are like to scam.
My questions is that have you seen any bounty campaign without team members and the project succeeded?
If such is there please outline let look into such project and loop it out.

In reality no man is island. Nothing functions on its own so there is no project that can work without team work, members and community . Even scam websites have teams that work together . I have not seen any project that has no team members
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop panicking start believing! on: October 17, 2018, 02:17:40 AM
The current situation of bitcoin and all the crypto currencies were not good but it doesn't mean that this will be the end of the cryptos since we need to acknowledge that this is not the first time the crypto prices were falling this much so everyone needs to be patient and just get away from your panic this will help the prices to recover faster.Start believes that crypto currencies were going to be the future of this payment system and start HODLing that coins.

You are spot on! Basing the potential of Bitcoin on price speculation is just limiting. The Use case of bitcoin is gaining momentum . People are beginning to see the difference between cryptocurrency and fiat. It is only about time before the benefits our payment system are changed by cryptocurrency
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criminal life is easier on: October 06, 2018, 05:31:04 PM
How do you think: does crypto make criminal life much easier? We all know that criminals use crypto to sell drugs, guns, people and everything else. Did crypto make doing such things easier? Earlier criminals had to think how to keep their anonymity and get paid, how launder their money, how to not get catched with this. But now they can just use crypto and all the headache about this financial troubles passed away. Of course there is much bigger positive points of crypto and not every user of crypto is a criminal, but anyway are you worried about this? Criminals also worsen the reputation of crypto that is not really stable itself.

Most of the scams that happen in the world are largely in fiat. The notion that crypto has increased crime is like a rumor .  It is true that we have scams in the crypto space but it easier to track criminals in the blockchain than it is to track criminals with fiat currency
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: October 06, 2018, 05:22:33 PM
If you are to choose, which one would you prefer to store your money, banking which is susceptible to fraud like identity theft, lost and stolen cards, ATM withdrawal scams etc., or cryptocurrency wallet which is susceptible to cyberspace scams? Why?

Let's face it. Despite the fact that we have digital assets, we all have assets in fiat too. Right now, there is no one that is better. Despite the fact that the crypto space is revolutionary, it is still not safe to keep one's asset. Maybe in five years, the crypto will be better but for now , there is no one is better
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: October 06, 2018, 05:19:53 PM
Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience

I have made the mistake of not not having an investment strategy in the crypto space. Be it buy or sell, you need to have a strategy in hand to enter and exit the market. I learned the hard way that chasing the market is stressful and produces no result
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: October 06, 2018, 05:17:14 PM
Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. If you can not trust crypto, you will not be able to see its value. Risk is associated with all kinda business. It just has to be calculated properly that which one would be profitable for you.

please share your thoughts in favor of mine statement or against.

Well the risk of crypto is that it poses a threat to the financial institutions that still hold on to the mindset of central control. Apart from this, the use case of blockchain has shown that the blockchain is revolutionary.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: October 06, 2018, 05:15:32 PM
The current trend of blockchain is very high, couple with it's ability to execute millions transactions within seconds, few transactions cost and no third party is require or paper signing. All transactions recorded and kept open, taking alway cross border and languages barrier, excellent in e commences. So many features to change the world. My emphasis is can blockchain has the capacity to replace bank?

The key things that make crypto more reliable than banks is the transparency and low cost fees. The question is not whether blockchain can replace the banks because use cases show it can. The issue is if government or banks are willing to switch to this technology, bearing in mind that they need to become transparent.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons you should avoid selling out of panic on: October 06, 2018, 05:12:22 PM
I think it is important for investors to have an exit strategy because trying to game the market can make one lose his investment. Most people that panic sell are usually moved by greed and fear. If you are sophisticated in your approach to investment, you will make money whether the market is up or down
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: October 06, 2018, 05:09:41 PM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?

Well it all depends. There is profit in patience . Just look at those that bought bitcoin years back , their assets is valuable today. There is no harm in waiting a bit unless you are looking for quick gains
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: October 06, 2018, 05:07:36 PM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

#Datarius

Yeah unfortunately this is true but some projects give some added value to early adopters than those that purchase in the market. However due to panic sell , it is cheaper to buy in the market
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still early adopters? on: October 06, 2018, 05:06:03 PM
So what do you think, do you think we are still early adopters or that the train already left the station? I think that we are, I think so few people actually use crypto in their everyday life and that in the future a massive influx of people will be introduced to crypto is some way, I think the market cap will be in trillions to be honest, it is stated that in the Netherlands 3% of the population hold cryptocurrency in some way, 75% under 250€, now think about it, the Netherlands is one of the most advanced countries and yet only 3% hold crypto, think about the other unfortunate 3rd World countries that probably never even heard of crypto, I think in the future the crypto market will boom because of the influx of people, that is to say in some years from now and that will drastically improve the market cap, as I said, I think it will be in trillions, I think the 10 top coins will 100x in the next years( I don't mean in the next 2 years, much longer). So accumulate as much as you can of good valuable coins I think, the future seems bright as even Facebook thinks about creating a cryptocurrency now, as I said, mass adoption will make the market cap boom. So what are your opinions about it? Do you agree with me or not?

You are sure spot on. We are early adopters and the crypto space is still in its infancy stage. Little by little, people are beginning to see how much crypto will be able to change their lives. So as you shared, invest in projects that are solving issues.
