I think it's wiser you divide and invest half in ICOs. Just be sure it is a legitimate one. You will have rewards for your half remaining holdings and more from the returns you get from ICO investments.

I think if you receive a big amount of stakes from the bounty campaign and that the project has long-term potential, it is nice to hold for a bigger profit. I have observed that sometimes I received more tokens from my bounty participation than what I get from investing in ICO.

This has been asked and threads about this are aplenty at bitcointalk. For me, ICO provides cheaper and discounted coins. Coins that are unlisted so risks are greater. While tradings give you the option to buy and sell already listed coins. There are still risks but anytime you can sell them in the market to have some returns when in ICOs you got nothing when coins never gets listed.

I think this is ironic as to why cryptocurrency was created in the first place, to provide privacy and anonymity. With KYC we are driven back to the centralized control of banks and other financial institutions which created the scheme. I observed it is getting to be a normal practice when joining ICO, bounty campaigns, and even airdrops right now. |

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.
Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.
What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?
I agree with you that the internet and social media sites are being flooded by ICO ads which I'm not sure have a substantial capability. Mostly these are ads are posted and shared by bounty hunters as part of their tasks. For me, I directly visit ICO rating sites for analysis and reviews of ICOs that I join. I think they have the authority and experience on that which I somehow trust. |

Beasy is good rated on different website. Anyway I am not really like the idea. Too much silimar projects already launched. One more "blockchain" project on the line. I received Original Crypto Coin months ago from airdrop but never bother on it as I thought it was spoofing Octoin Coin which uses the same OCC ticker but already in the market. Gonna check out again the website of Original crypto coin. thanks for the info

Reason why most ICOs fail is that most of these projects are riding on hype ideas. Cannot sustain the market because product has no practical usage. Also some reason are the team. They have no experience or competence to drive the project and manage team for long term goals.

Recent airdrop that have given me a lot of profit is from HYDRO. Gave me .3 btc exchange rate which is quite a lot compared to other airdrops right now. Before was from Sugar exchange but the price went really up when I held my tokens and exchange when the price was very high

Investing in ICO is a good investment but a very risky one. Requires a lot of research about the project and the team running it as majority of ICOs nowadays turns out to be scam. Also you must consider the projects sustainability when launched in the market. As long as you do your research and sure of the project then go ahead. It gives you a lot of returns

I am using both for greater protection. I used MEW to generate my eth address and installed MetaMask plugin in Chrome. I imported my MEW address to MetaMask to filter transactions. Its an added task but I feel more secure using the setup.
