There are too many reasons why an ICO/s ae falling during on it's campaign period. Some of those are; poor management of their projects, not active admins and developers, sometimes they are lack of investors that can sold out their tokens, and maybe they don't have a big partnership that can help their community spread and be heard by other crypto users, sometimes you must be partnered with big platforms so that you have an ally if your project doesn't reach it's goals and objectives.

The main reasons for the failure of many ICOs is that their project is not needed and uninteresting, and they wanted to collect a lot of money, the second reason is a bad promotional action of this program.

Many of the ico have not yet started entrepreneurial activities. If you read the white papers of those series, the profits are expected from 2019 2020 2022 and so on. Do not be in a hurry good projects are medium-term. Those hyperveloci, on the other hand, are bankrupt

I agree with you. And unfortunately, there are a lot of ICOs that have not started their entrepreneurial activities. We need to carefully study their documents, the road map.

I think that many ISO are false, because users do not want to understand the specifics of the project and give their money. Because of this, scammers appear. I understand the projects always and after that I decide to invest my money and time in them or not. REMME is an excellent project that will solve an important problem for people who care

Most ICO also fails because they don't have a working product at the moment & they just show a long roadmap of their project in a white paper with the steps they would be taking in future to build the product & expanding the business after collecting the funds form investors. But what happens is that if they even raise enough funds they don't work on the project with full determination or just leave it, they just celebrate that they raised that amount of money. Don't invest in the project who don't have the working product right now, don't get misled by their sweet claims/promises mentioned in a whitepaper.

Some ICOs fail because their participants are expecting the tokens too soon. Additionaly, there are ICO projects that plan to begin their operation and get profit later which is why they are like mid term investments. So you just need to wait if you are sure that the ICO you picked is not a scam.

Tons of ICO's have failed in the past because they had no real product behind or people were afraid to invest into the project and another reason is that markets crashed and this affected the ICO's

There are some icos which are creating a high softcap, and that is one of the main reasons of why we are seeing a lot of them failing, because the people has lack of trust over them (they do not want to lose their money)

someone else had been posting on my account for over a year; Every post from January 10 2017 to June 18 2018 is NOT ME
Whoever this person was that got access to my account, felt the need to shill something called "bidium" in my signature
very surreal. is this normal? the internet is full of crooks... watch out

ICOs fail because of these primary reasons such:
Inadequate Product Market
About 60% of ICO fail at the initial stage because their services or products does not have any value and demand in the market. Most of the ICOs today requires selling token to raise the capital. For such ICOs it is important that their ICOs have caught up the SEC and related regular bodies soon to protect themselves from long-term failure. it is very important the people who are launching the ICOs should have a defined market which is completely aware of the project, it is also imperative to build trust and reputation to make your ICO successful.
Failure to create the brand identity
People are not brand conscious. They invest in a project which sounds good forgetting it should look good too. This includes every element of websites like content, logo, visuals, fonts, ICO white paper, and selection of colors etc. The people will question your brand if they find your website unprofessional.
Unrealistic Objectives and Budgets
The unrealistic budgets and objectives of the new business always put the business in difficulties. The higher you set your objectives, the more budget you will need to achieve those objectives and so is the need to spend on the marketing, PR, development, design, and content.
Lack of audit, reporting, and measurement
Majority of ICO which has failed was launched by newcomers who have very limited knowledge of the online marketing techniques and do not understand the need for continuous auditing, measurement and reporting to improve their ICOs. Bear in mind that an ICO is like a product or serivce which cannot survive without you doing the marketing in a RIGHT WAY.

The acceptance of the audience determines the success of an ICO. There are ICO that projects a great idea but fail and the reason is...timing and implementation. A project may fail because it is not ready to launch and the commodity prsented is too untimely for the current need. Implementation may also creates failure because the audience trust deminished when there is a violation in the implementation date, price and exchange.

That's right, the similar concept with other ICOs can lead a new ICO to be failed easily. Moreover, when the ICO doesn't have the new innovation that will make the project different and unique. It sometimes also is influenced by the community and the trust of the people that can lead them to avoid the project to be invested.

I think that many projects that use ICO to call for capital and fraudulent money in the eyes of ICO people are getting worse. That makes many investors less trust in the ICO also they only short-term investment and led to that ICO failed before reaching the final goal.

Bad team, without experience and no product, test net or smithing. These are the most common ones

Reason why most ICOs fail is that most of these projects are riding on hype ideas. Cannot sustain the market because product has no practical usage. Also some reason are the team. They have no experience or competence to drive the project and manage team for long term goals.

Both of these situations you are talking about are correct. There are many other factors that affect ICO, such as their unrealistic goals, their team technologies failing to complete the anticipated products, etc. But now the reason for the most ICO failures is because they only want to cheat money! Fraudsters are the most hated!

This is the main problem of all ICO. They need to do everything simple and clear for the vast majority, because of this, the concept itself suffers, it is necessary to simplify it and as a result, the project can not compete in the market and reailzovatsya at 100%

There are multiple reasons for an ICO fail, however most important are:

Product/Service they are offering ( does it need blockchain?)
The team behind the project arent expericed
The roadmap isn't clear enough

Their are other reasons as well but these ones are some of the core reasons why they fail.

due to the fact that too many unconstrained promises and failing to fulfill their obligations to investors of the development teams and their projects, the confidence in the ICO industry as a whole is falling, and fewer and fewer people are investing in them. It is much more reliable to wait for listing on the stock exchange and to buy coins than investing in the ICO and then wait until the project goes somewhere further with some SouthXchange where the total daily trading volume does not exceed half a beat per market day.

The first possible reason is a poor marketing campaign that does not let the project develop due to the lack of funds. Another reason is high expectations of the developing team that is not able to finish up a project because they are not experienced enough.

there are many reasons why ICO fails, I think the failure of ico is due to the unsupportive teamwork in completing the ICO marketing especially when they want to cooperate with colleagues, the work team can not have a good experience and the product they produce is not interesting to sell. Smiley
