61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: January 10, 2024, 08:47:52 AM
This will be a boring fight because it will be again in Tokyo and the opponent is not very exciting for the fans. However, this might be a good chance for John Riel Casimero to challenge and win against someone who will make him a contender to challenge Inoue for his WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF championships. I reckon with Casimero's personality, if he fights Inoue it should certainly be in Las Vegas.
It looks like he just wants boring opponents tbh. Everyone wants that Inoue-Casimero fight but I think Inoue management doesn't want that at all or both couldn't have a better consensus. For sure they'll wreck PPV for this fight to happen but they just couldn't make this a reality, what a waste.
Nery is not a boring fighter. Looking at his record , you can see that he has 27 wins from 35 fights, and that's a lot of experience with a 77% KO rate. It will only be boring if this will be one sided beat down again, and as what we had witness in the past, Inoue always dominates his opponent, so let's see if Nery is different.

About Casimero, he is not the number 1 challenger yet, but maybe he'll next in line, if Inoue really intend to give him a chance.
Yeah, I'm referring as well to the fight and not solely to Nery because in my opinion Inoue will dominate this match. Well, I may be biased on who he fights but was just supporting my fellow countryman who happened to not that far away from my hometown and he's quite popular here. He's been itching to fight Inoue, he may talkative and boastful some of the time, but I think he can beat Inoue.

63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: January 09, 2024, 02:59:29 PM
I do not like thread that are long already. I prefer threads that is not more than 1 page long. I went through a long thread this time, some people are quoting me on the thread about who loses more to gambling and I read some replies only to find out that most people are saying rich people are likely to make money than poor people in gambling.

This is the thread
Why the rich win gambling more than the poor.

Is this not contradictory? I am not rich and I gamble and lose more. The same story by many rich people. People said you can not win the house. If more people are registered on a casino or a bookie site, the owner of the site will be happy. Because they know they will have more workers and be able to pay them as they will earn more. If you deposit huge amount, the more the happiness because the house would win at last. This is not about rich or poor. And this only shows more that the rich are likely to lose more.

So why are people contacting themselves. They will say the house would win because of house edge. Now they are also saying the rich would win than the poor. Is it not the others way around that the more the rich spend on gambling, the more the money the rich will eventually lose.
I think it isn't on the status that matters, you will lost even if you're rich or poor. Rich will surely make more money than that of a poor in gambling considering you can risks more and win more, unlike most poor they tend to have low bankroll and can't bet more to be at breakeven or win some.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 09, 2024, 01:54:34 PM
Heat was better even without Jimmy Buckets. Balanced first half but Heat took control in third quarter. Herro and Adebayo did the job well.
Their roster has depth and they can play together so Jimmy's absence isn't felt that much but I don't think the team is better without him. Bench players like Jovic or Highsmith can fill his position from time to time but nobody can do it consistently. Even Robinson couldn't.
Exactly, we've seen how Jimmy carry the team when it's needed and tbh he's really different when playoffs is coming. The good thing about their depth is that it's versatile and their are lot of role players they can count on plus Coach Spo is a better tactician

The Clippers on the other hand are already back to winning games again. They defeated the Phoenix Suns in a manner where you could really tell that they are a strong team. 138-111. A true show of their offensive power. If these guys can keep themselves healthy until the playoffs, there's a chance the Clippers will finally get a championship. The rotation of Coach Ty Lue is perfect, the pairing and combination make every player better and the ball is rotating better too. No one got a 30 pointer and they are more balanced.
Even Lebron commended on the way Coach Ty Lue is managing the Clippers and they really figure it out now. Will not doubt the championship thing considering they are a championship contender already in the moment but let's hope they'll get healthy especially when playoffs come because that's when shit happens on this team.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 09, 2024, 12:59:09 PM
Has anyone noticed that Binance has consecutively launch theit launchpool starting from the following projects.

Ace (Fusionist)
Nfp (Nfprompt)
Ai  ( Sleepless AI)
Xai ( Xai Games)

It seems that they will weekly launch a pool for new projects and it will be bullish for bnb and at the same time with the projects being listed. Anyone farming here? Hows your income so far?
That is why I'm holding BNB because they'll probably continue this until we are in the bull market. Been farming those projects as well except for XAI but the thing is, it's always full and if you have just enough BNB or stables to stake you wouldn't make any good return in the end.
It is hard to get a significant number of tokens through this launchpool if you don't hold a large amount of tokens, like BNB. Most of the time, whales are the ones who benefit from these token sales, and that is why I think it is a completely unfavorable method used by Binance. What is the point of giving a few dollars worth of token and why will investors lock up their small funds to get a few dollars worth of token. This doesn't make any sense. So I usually don't participants in any of these launch pool but i agree that most of the time they are highly profitable.
I hold around 10 BNB (which is low tbh) but even if you stake it at the beginning that would only get me around $100 or below if I sold it early once it gets listed. The BNB token pool has the huge allocation and whales really gets there to farm it, it even reaches billions I guess on staked assets for every launchpad. I think it's best to participate on an IDO rather here and maybe interacting with future airdrops.

67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weak or wise? on: January 06, 2024, 08:14:19 PM
In trading sometimes, there are situations and several times where traders while observing a trade placed and the profit they have made already  from it  begin to think and consider to exit from the trade and take the profit that they have made instead of waiting to the end.

Do you accept to be a weak trader or a wise trader when you exit a trade taking some profit, but not the entirety of what you want on your TP?
I am accepting that considering I'm not that great either, everything can be learned and if you have consistency then you probably learn more than the rest. You will never gonna time the market so if you think you will gonna profit in that trade then take it, profit will always be a profit no matter what.

Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?  If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?
So far that wasn't on my playlist, I'd rather put it on some investment products rather than put most of it through gambling. I think the sufficient amount would like be at seven figures but I think that'll depends on how much you'll get contented for.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 06, 2024, 01:20:46 PM
Or Mayweather will not pursue it. If they fight I do hope they'll fight their might considering many has been awaiting this for years already especially when they haven't retired from the boxing yet and for sure the excitement was still there but most was really into the intensity of the match and for sure if they fight again it wouldn't be there considering it's just an exhibition.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most logical and profitable game on: January 06, 2024, 09:44:19 AM
I know that basically gambling is based on luck, but we can use tricks or strategies so that we don't spend a lot of money and can still win, even if it's only a small win.

In general, in my opinion, there are several categories of games in gambling such as house edge games, sportsbooks, slot machine games, live casino games, and lottery. In your opinion, which game do you think is the most logical to win? and what is the reason?
I think sports betting was way more logical on games you mentioned to win considering it involves mastery of the sports somehow and doesn't rely solely on the luck. Been introduced into luck-based games and so far I've lost more on it compare to sports betting that I am fond right now.
71  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin tumuntong na sa $41k+! on: January 06, 2024, 06:37:17 AM
I think na tuloy tuloy pa sa pag taas itong magiging price ng BTC. Since malapit na nga din ang fork, it is really recommended na to HODL muna ang BTCs natin to take advantage of this price boost in a few months coming from now.

As someone na nandito sa forum since 2017, biggest regret ko talaga is cashing out my BTCs agad agad without fully taking advantage of the time. Kaya this time, natuto na ako and naka focus na ako for long-term advantage and investment.

Same, At ginawa ko nanaman ito ulit now dahil sa 39k ako nag cashout.  Cheesy
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the tension make you take risk that are sometimes worth it? on: January 05, 2024, 09:56:52 PM
So I would like to know your own experience when making or taking risk in gambling under pressure.
From experience I think it's more likely to lose considering you'd likely be tense by the pressure. I'd tend to not play during these because it's even more risky to think that you'll just wasting that money to a bet that would considerably lead to a lose.
73  Economy / Gambling / Re: UNREAL!! Sportsbet.io pays out a $42,000,000 USDT Casino WIN!! on: January 05, 2024, 05:56:03 PM
You need to have some huge ass balls to be doing 50$ spins...
Probably the winner was a high roller as well to be able to win this huge. This is like punch to the moon for one like me that only spin for a dollar or a cent and mostly with low mutlipliers. Just congratulating that winner wherever you are, what a way to celebrate the Christmas and New Year.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kaspa or Ethereum Classic? on: January 05, 2024, 05:15:23 PM
What do you think about Kaspa? Will it surpass ETC in hashrate? It is a better alternative than the real ETH? Or all the other way around? Is Kaspa's "rise to glory" nothing more than hype? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Considering it's new and probably gonna be promoted by many I do think that it will surpass ETC hashrate someday. I'm not familiar on how PoW technicalities work but I think for a newer one it may have feature that probably way more advanced compare to the old ones that they may pitch. Moreover, I still think ETH is still on top of alternative coins, we will let see regarding Kaspa if it surpasses out expectations.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on favorites early in the week & underdogs late in the week strategy... on: January 05, 2024, 04:08:25 PM
So I'm just curious if the sports betters in here take this "rule of thumb" strategy seriously and tend to follow it.  Or if there's any experience that says this may not be all that great of a strategy.  Thoughts?
For me depending if you love betting during live I guess, there's no favorites when it comes to that. There's nothing like early of the week or later of the week cause I love to bet now during live, so it would certainly be changed. Well, probably it's fine on other sports but I think basketball has different vibes.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [A POLL] Without Chances of Making Money, Will you still be gambling? on: January 05, 2024, 01:49:05 PM
So, one question I want to ask is, if games were built to be played with money on casinos like we do now, with absolutely no chances of making money even when you win a game, would you still be spending money playing this games or betting on sports games?
If the money has no monetary value at all then I would love to gamble it. No one on their right mind would spend their money without getting anything in return unless that's for a charity and was wholeheartedly given. These days that should be a rare scenario and likely only the riches will have fond on doing that one.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $Brett be the next $PEPE? this may be an opportunity on: January 04, 2024, 09:58:48 PM
There's no way it could land a billion market cap that easily unless it's being shilled heavily by most influencers on Twitter and other platforms. Yeah we can speculate that meme coins are a thing but its riskiness is way too high to go to rags. I'd be more careful with these meme coins popping up lately and always an advisory to just invest what you can afford to lose.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero (XMR) and other privacy coins at risk of delisting from Binance on: January 04, 2024, 09:52:23 PM
In a recent announcement, the infamous crypto exchange Binance has added the Monitoring tag to Monero and other privacy coins.
Cryptocurrencies with the Monitoring tag are at risk of delisting from Binance.
Well, Binance is being watched so it's not surprising that they are just in compliance with the law enforcement agencies. There are top tier exchanges out there if you are too concern that you'll not end up selling them, we cannot control most of these regulations so we just have to abide in it.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see a gambling review website that has its own gambling website? on: January 04, 2024, 04:03:46 PM
I am asking this question because, for me, there could be a possible conflict of interest here.

As a review site running its own gambling site, there might be a concern that they could potentially undermine their competitors on their website to boost their own standing in the competition. This could involve making biased or false statements to praise their own website.

While I'm not certain if this is happening in the real world, it raises the question of whether you would trust a review website in such a case.
Not fan of these review sites and I only follow the genuine one but tbh I'd say there's nothing wrong with it as long as they're not reviewing misinformation along with other websites or should I say their competitors. Of course always give them a benefit of the doubt considering they're running of what could make them stand and what could harm their competitors, but you can distinguished a genuine review to a sloppy review.
We want to avoid biases which is why we should be not depending with reviews not recognized by the trusted ones. However this is how advertisement works in the first place. Having one goal which is to promote; we are free to engage in those platforms for ourselves and leave if things won't be meeting our satisfactory.
Definitely avoiding it and there are lot of platforms these days where you can get more information about a casino and not just reviews site, and for me YouTube, Twitter or something similar like them are best way to know more info about them and they are way more interactive especially YouTube where they should something like demo. As casino sites are way too centralized we definitely need other sources of information.
