61  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Umisoo hosting of Bitmaintech Antminers on: November 07, 2014, 09:08:34 AM
Any updates from anyone else using this service?
62  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: November 06, 2014, 09:08:50 PM
Anyone using the Umisoo hosting service? I would love to hear some feedback, it seems like a great option considering the shipping of these things are almost the cost of one unit.
63  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter Prisma (>=1.4 T/device, 0.75-0.78 W/G, <1 BTC/T, October Shipping) on: November 06, 2014, 03:26:50 AM
Has anyone replaced the insanely loud fans on these units? Im looking for a solution cause the old lady is not going to put up with it all winter.
64  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Undervolt antminer s1 [1.19W/GH at the wall] on: November 06, 2014, 03:09:09 AM
I think I may be missing something here I have not been able to reduce the power draw after completing the pencil mod.

My resistors have been modded to:
Code:
R3 2.96|3.0
R66 2.90|3.02
R38 2.87|2.87
R52 3.05|2.80

.86v

Code:
        option 'freq_value'     '0A81'  #275M
        option 'chip_freq'      '275'
        option 'timeout'        '45'

Hashing at 140gh~ with .5% error rate but still pulling 202w from the wall.  Huh Huh

That is reduced power draw. You'd be pulling ~280W at the original voltage for 140GH/s.

Doh!   Lips sealed

What should I do to get it closer to 150w? Keeps lowering the resistance?

72  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FS: RockMiner R-3 Box's 800-900gh on: November 01, 2014, 10:39:14 PM
where you located

The miners are in Rolla, MO 65401

I would buy them and cover shipping, but the price is too high to make positive ROI with free power. If you do lower prices send me a PM and we can haggle.

You are more then welcome to make an offer but Im not going to negotiate against myself.
73  Economy / Computer hardware / FS: RockMiner R-3 Box's 800-900gh on: November 01, 2014, 03:31:46 AM
Looking to sell 2 of my RockMiners that are currently happy and hashing away hosted with sidehack.
I have not OC'd these units yet. They are currently hashing at 400ghs each
and can be OC'd to 450ghs each.
Im open to offers but I was thinking that I could take .4btc each or .75 for both units.
I would be willing to split shipping if someone bought both.
I could also come off the PSU's powering them.

Please post here or PM with any questions or offers.
74  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: October 23, 2014, 07:24:56 PM
To hell with it order #3056.  Will order more Sp20s when this ships.

So, let me get this straight. The currently listed specs for the SP20 show it to be the least profitable miner out of the crop being currently sold. Spondoolies was supposed to post better specs to hopefully make the miner catch up a bit to the competition. They completely failed to do so, failed to post any updates about when the new products will start shipping and posted some irrelevant nonsense instead. And now you want to order more SP20s - a product that was terrible value when first announced and offers even worse value now?

What's the rationale behind that?

Its funny because I just realized they are getting ready to ship, so I shot over the the site with the intentions on buying one but when I saw the price I just laughed out loud.

77  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Raspberry Pi B (or B+) w/ Memory Card on: October 21, 2014, 09:06:17 PM

Yeah I know I can get Raspberry Pi's from a lot of sources. But most are $35+ without memory card. I'm hoping to pick one up for sub-$30 w/ memory card and maybe more accessories.

I appreciate it though  Cool

Yea..
Good luck...

Any update? I was waiting till you get them in to send the label so we know the actual weight. In your OP you say a 7-8lb label but it also says that each full unit weighs 7.5kg (~16lbs).
