61 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Undervalued coins under 20M cap x10-x100 potential on: November 27, 2017, 09:08:23 AM
Name some coins that comply with all or majority of these:

- Have UNDER 20M MARKET CAP
- x100 to x10 potential
- Not ERC20 tokens
- Game changers/new protocols
- Active development

Some examples: PASC, XRB, SHIFT, BIS

I heard that florincoin may be rebranding a while ago, and it seems like that they have not done so yet. I remember that a year back florincoin was a pretty hot coin and now it's under $20m market cap, could be a good short term investment.

You could well flip the coin for double profit if done right.

Wouldn't say that it's a game changer or anything though, but it's definitely not just a shittoken.
62 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit on: November 27, 2017, 09:00:52 AM
I registered a couple of days ago. Here is what it says:
Your sign up request is being processed and you will receive an email from us when it is ready.
Signup requests can take up to 7 days to be processed, but usually complete in a day or two.
Anyone with experience???

When i signed up to their site the whole process was instant. I'm not sure why they are now delaying signups, perhaps because they have a strain on their system or something. But usually this does not happen, and afaik has not happened to anyone else at least when i was using steemit.

Only thing you can do is wait, i guess. If you go by 7 days without anything from them, then start trying to find some answers.

Also one tip - unless you have excellent content, don't expect to earn much. Payouts have become pretty low compared to crazy ones like $16k for a makeup video last year.
63 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Diamond BCD - will this match up to BCH/BTG in value? on: November 25, 2017, 04:54:41 AM
At Yobit the trading of BCD already on.

Will this be another surge like BCH/BTG?

or it will be a quickie RIP

These are trading futures. I think that right now the price is way too high and will probably calm down a bit as soon as the actual forked version comes out instead of futures trading because people will start dumping it.

I do not see anything new with this coin, it's just minor improvements just like BCH and BTG.

And there is a premine if i'm not mistaken as well, so that's something to steer clear around imo.
64 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power Ledger now backed by Australian federal government on: November 25, 2017, 03:51:28 AM
Good news for those who have an interest in Power Ledger, as this article explains the federal Australian government have bough into the project which is the first crypto / blockchain foray ever in Australia to be backed by the federal government.

I know many other companies are watching this project with very keen eyes.

Turnbull government invests in cryptocurrency-based company for the first time

Turnbull government invests in cryptocurrency-based company for the first time

this is BIG!!! for Australia and blockchain tech / crypto.

Just because something is backed by government doesn't mean that it's going to be a good idea to invest in it. This could even make the cryptocurrency more centralized as the government has a large share in it.

I don't know, but there is really no difference between government investment vs. a whale's investment. Yet people respond much stronger to government investment.

But anyways, this shows that the Australian government is doing a good job of acknowledging crypto, which isn't happening elsewhere.
65 Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Eidoo.io ( 0.305 BTC scammed ) on: November 25, 2017, 03:43:06 AM
Previously we have seen this already.

You shouldn't have dealt with any tokens without researching the actual token and seeing whether it is the genuine token or not. Recently there has been so many people scamming people with fake impersonator tokens.

Saw this thread and read the name Alex Kampa which seems familiar to me in scam jargon, so I made a Google search for Alex Kampa and I got this image:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2223613.msg22453789#msg22453789

His phone number matches , I looked his LinkedIn profile but it seems taken off now.
It even seems that this tard makes new projects and then dump the coins/tokens and this cheat people.
The nearest that I could find is autoria, gizer and now this fake eidoo currency.

I even found his dream project known as sikoba , a search on Google can take you to this link on Reddit where it is shown that for each btc he scams here then he converts it to eth and put it in his crowdsale address.. what a tard who he funding himself with Sammy money.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6aimry/sikoba_is_a_scam_why_are_you_sending_82k_evidence/

This could well be true but why would he expose his real name?
66 Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has risen to 8.3k usd on: November 25, 2017, 03:40:37 AM
Bitcoin has risen to 8.3k usd, do you think you can reach 9k usd?
Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Of course it can. I'm thinking that price can go as far as $15-17k late this year and early next year before any sort of major correction happens. Of course along the way we'll see the price go to $9k or more.

The thing is $9000 isn't a level that anyone should be particularly concerned about breaking. Of course all time highs are going to be set, but $10k is the real test. If bitcoin can break that, then it is pretty much confirmed that it's going mainstream very very soon.

Right now price is floating around $8.2k, it's a great time to buy.
67 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Going all day investing in altcoin on: November 25, 2017, 02:25:35 AM
I have invested a lot in deep and going all day investing in altcoin i want to know that i am doing wrong or right
Will ever alt will back in future or just down down

What coins exactly have you invested in? I can't give you any advice if you don't tell me what coins you have invested in. Just saying that altcoins is way too broad of a topic, and some altcoins can go down whilst other coins go up.

Alts should generally be nearing another pump though.

Bitcoin's been taking the limelight, eth is now making a pretty quick recovery that i think will drag the entire ICO economy along with it.
68 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestion for 5 altcoins with low market cap and low coin Supply? on: November 25, 2017, 02:19:36 AM
Guys, Planning on investing about $2k on 5 altcoins with good potential. Please suggest the once with less market cap and low coin supply.

Hmm... Less market cap doesn't always mean better.

Yes, it'll mean that it has a lot more room to grow and all, but you'll also be hit hard by bad liquidity. You could be looking to sell your coin one day but at the end you may have to resort to dumping your coins to the highest buy order and losing out 10% of profits or even more.

But i'd suggest byteball, if you're really looking for low market cap AND low coin supply. In fact, it's got one of the lowest coin supplies out there. Hugely undervalued.
69 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DGB is pumping! on: November 25, 2017, 02:12:31 AM
DGB start pumping now, is +%7 now!

Digibyte is certainly one of the most volatile altcoins out there. The pump a few months ago is just absolutely stunning and of course we've been experiencing pretty much corrections all round for the past few months after that pump.

This could be time for a revive for DGB, in my opinion.

Price could go up to as high as 500 sats for this one, maybe starting next year.
70 Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning aceminers.com is a scam on: November 25, 2017, 02:08:51 AM
I am guilty of trying to get involved in bitcoin too fast. I placed an order and sent BTC to aceminer.com thinking I finally found a place that is selling the S9 for only a little over the bitmain price. WRONG! I am out $2k and have no other option to deal with my loss besides posting here help someone else avoid the mistake. I am kicking myself for an expensive lesson learned. I can see the address I sent my funds to is receiving money in the same rough increments about 1-2/hr.

This is unbelievable and disappointing in myself and others that go to his effort to steal!

Hope someone will avoid the mistake I just made.

The site is down right now right?

There is a shit ton of sites that are selling mining equipment recently that have gone to scam their customers. Unless you are able to somehow arrange a PayPal deal that you are confident that you can chargeback if anything goes wrong, or you are able to use escrow, do not buy miners from strangers/random sites.

That's just giving away free money. They set up the site probably for les than 100 usd.
71 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A new era of bitcoin forks will propel BTC to 100,000 on: November 25, 2017, 02:06:13 AM
Bitcoin silver, copper, aluminum, water, beans...bitcoin anything!

Bitcoin won't reach $100k at least this year. Trust me on this. I would bet on bitcoin going to $10k this year but definitely not $100k, that's just some crazy predictions and absolutely 0 evidence to back it up.

Remember that when forks happen, it's actually taking away value from bitcoin technically.

Bitcoin won't rise as a result of these forks, the best that can happen to BTC price is it stays put, if it doesn't drop.
72 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: about airdrop on: November 22, 2017, 05:45:19 AM
hello friends, i want to ask about airdrop, i have been following and join airdrop to get coin, but until now i have not got any coin at all, why can be like that? is there something wrong with airdrop that i follow? do i follow only airdrop scam?

There are absolutely no guarantees that airdrops are actually going to get you anything. There is probably motive for giving out tokens for free in the first place, most probably because they won't get any publicity any other way, since their token has no real value whatsoever and their devs know it. Airdropping the coins will at least get the coin some volume on etherdelta, and then the dev can dump their token.

Or, in your case, since no tokens have even been distributed, it is likely that they're just collecting personal details.

If you did everything right, and everyone else got nothing as well, then the only explanation is that the project you joined is a scam.
73 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one this unlucky during my entry into investments and crypto? on: November 22, 2017, 05:29:56 AM
I would like to hear some unlucky stories of people to give myself hope and not just disappointment. Any stories where you got in and lost money and later came back up?

So after a bit of research and all, i start with 1 eth and around that time, the price was 329. I joined binance, i am a noob so i put in just 0.3 eth for learning. I sold 0.1 eth at 331 when that was the highest price for the day, i felt good and bought back a bit cheaper. I did it again, but the price this time kept going up. So I couldnt sell, i had 0.10 more, so i sold it at 334.5 when the highest price that day was like 35.6. I had kept 0.05 eth just for saving, and bought bnb for 0.05 eth. So I needed to buy back 0.2 eth but the price hit 350 that day and then kept going on. Losing opportunities when price was getting higher felt shitty, but i saw bch fell down to 1155, so i bought it. As soon as I got it, it fell down till 130 or lower lol. I didnt want to sell at lower than what i got it at, so i waited till it got back to 1155, and sold at 1156. The moment I sold, the price spiked and went up to 1180 and quickly to 1999, i remember seeing it at 1300 so i bought it quickly thinking i will still have profit. But when i got done buying at 1199, it went down to 1170 and stayed that way for the whole day. Earlier today, I managed to sell it when bch hit 1250, and then i bought back almost the same amount at 1230. I had a small gain but I was happy and learning. But then, tether had to fuck up shit and everything went down. I panicked. In the end, i ended up converting the bch to eth at a loss, from 0.2 eth worth to 0.18 eth, then sold eth as well thinking it will go down more, would be better to buy at lower. But no in few hours the price slowly started getting back, and I fucked up. I had to buy back at more than what I sold at. I also had invested 0.7 eth into tokens, there was QSP, the price at which it was bought was like 0.00020 eth, and sold it at 0.00021 before it got even lower. I had invested 0.2eth into this to see and just when it came to market, it fucked shit up, i sold the eth from it too. I also had bought cindicator tokens for 0.2 eth, i sold those too, thinking the price is going dowwn I will buy back later, i sold it for 0.18 eth. Basically this shit completely tilted me, and while I learned a lot from this experience, makes me want to just feel so fucking unlucky. Do I still have hope?>

Boy, do we all have these moments in the beginning.

I assure you that this is something that everyone will have to go through sooner or later, and it's good that you're learning from these experiences. Heck, you're lucky that you're not even losing your entire portfolio. At one point earlier in my bitcoining career, i invested in some pump and dump coin on yobit and basically lost 95% or more of my investment.

My advice is to hold for the long term. SHort term, cryptos are way too volatile. Select a few cryptos and hold them till at least 3-4x profitss roll in.
74 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to all coins when bitcoin reach to 10k? on: November 22, 2017, 05:27:05 AM
Some one please tell me !
Thank you Grin

Altcoin in terms of fiat will be dragged up the scales as well. So i would expect that price of altcoins will probably increase along the lines of 20-30% at least in USD terms compared to what it is right now when BTC does hit $10k.

However, i'm also expecting that the BTC rise in USD be much more than altcoins. So some altcoins will probably lose some value in terms of BTC, yet gain in fiat value if you get what i mean.

Overall, if BTC is bullish, alts are going to be worth less in BTC.
75 Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fishing attempt offering Bitcoin Gold - from wallet.blockchain-gold.org on: November 22, 2017, 05:24:51 AM
Thankns for the heads up.

It's weird that they are even trying to do this. I mean come on, it's already 2017. Who can't spot such an obvious phishing email, especially when it is sent from different senders EVERY SINGLE DAY? If people are gullible enough to believe this, then they probably don't have any BTC to begin with.

Also it's important to note that there is no timer on the timeframe you can claim your BTG. It's unlimited.

I claimed mine through coinomi, the process was easy and fast.
76 Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase to $100,000 says expert on: November 22, 2017, 05:13:25 AM
As per the report written by max keiser of RT.com. He says, the bitcoin will increase to $100,000 and only top 20 coins will remain stable.

Keiser also blames bitcoin cash for misusing bitcoin name and it is just alt coin and doesn't hold for long time.

see report here https://www.rt.com/business/410252-bitcoin-god-gift-keiser/

If the price can continue to be up and going and bitcoin gets the same amount of media attention as it is getting at the current moment in 5 years time then i see no reason why this cannot be the case. There will be another halving in 2020 which will definitely influence investors into investing more in bitcoin, and this halving could really be the breakthrough year for bitcoin.

BCH rising was a temporary thing, it'll probably happen again some time again in the futuer, but it's going to be a permanent pump, and overall i'm bearish. With BTC however, i'm bullish for the long term and $100k is really nothing.
77 Economy / Speculation / Re: Is is still a good time to Invest in Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2017, 05:09:47 AM
I'm watching the bitcoin for a few months now, saw it going up from $2,000 to over $8,000 in just 6 months.

What shook me up this morning is a notification I got by email saying it's over $8,000!! Bitcoin is up by 43% in a single month.

The big question is, will we see $10K soon, perhaps before the end of the year, or what are you guys expecting to see in the next few months?

I've been trading Forex in the past, today mainly US Stocks, but have no clue what to expect from Bitcoin.
Is it still a good time to buy, or should I wait more and see what's going on in the next 6 months? Any thoughts?

We're seeing a frenzy in terms of people buying bitcoin right now and i doubt that this is going to be stopping any time soon. So even if the logical thing to do would be wait for a correction, i think that the emotional responses of traders will be strong enough to make BTC continue to go up to at least $9-10k.

Based on this, yes, it's a good time to invest in bitcoin in my opinion. As long as you sell at the right time.

Don't forget that if you're in the long term for bitcoin, it doesn't really matter when you enter the market. We're still very early.
78 Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump/Correction @ 10k on: November 22, 2017, 05:02:10 AM
Like the title says what do you guys think ? Will there be a correction or profit taking at 10000$ ?
I think it will happen but the question is how much the market will fall ? 9K,8K,7k ?
Will you guys take the advantage of this fall to sell high and buy some btc at low price or just continue to hodl ?

Your thoughts Smiley

Well, i would expect some profit takers at the $9k level. There will definitely be a portion of people that are invested in bitcoin that think bitcoin can never hit 5 figures(which i am not a part of), and they will taking their profits before the $10k level gets breached.

But that should really just be a short term dump. My personal prediction on bitcoin this year is going to be at least 5 figures. After the initial dump from $9k to perhaps $8k, we'll see the price getting pumped to 10k or more.

There could be another correction waiting there, but it shouldn't go below $10k.
79 Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin UP BitCoinCash DOWN on: November 22, 2017, 05:00:36 AM
I wasn't even sure why bitcoin cash was up so much around a week ago, it just seeme really abnormal for a coin which is essentially just a fork of bitcoin to get to nearly half of bitcoin's value, without any major implementation in actual business transactions. Now that that short term pump is out of the way, bitcoin has obviously recovered and made a new all time high while BCH is now making not much news.

These two coins are still going much in opposite directions of each other. And i think we'll see that continue to be the case.
