For me, Tronex is 100% ponzi. Their site 100% will entirely depend on the number of members (participants) and the number of TRX coins deposited by members. I think vechain still legit project. The progress they've made is very good (you can read in here https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/cryptocurrency-news/product-release/vechain-vet-reveals-progress-achievements/). If I'm not wrong, they are now more focused on the gaming industry. There have been several projects they have worked on, but these projects are still as a plan and/or prototypes, not as final products.
And as we know, from previous years, many have wanted that blockchain technology can be use as a "crutch" in gaming industry. However, the difficulties faced in making final products are still often encountered. And it cause public acceptance of coins related to gaming is still very low (or it can be said, is still underestimated).
