I'm losing faith I'll eve recover my HUC from my wallet. There's just no way I could sync it, it stops responding as soon as it's opened 10k HUC probably gone to wind. Similar boat, but it is 100,000 HUC When did you buy them? I bought a lot back when the price was $0.70 per HUC... we might as well console each other and continue trusting in this project which I still have full faith in

Dear motocoin community, can you motivate me little more to develop viewing transactions by address in motocoin explorer? Just give me "Star" on https://github.com/BobRobH/MotocoinExplorer or send any amount of motocoins to MofzQ99qZ5HgpJvFiCAi8WdL8LCZ6oZbSBb. I want to see how many people really need this feature Done

Any new development or news? Dev are you working on sth to promote this coin?
- After block 8000 mining will become easier, although reward per block will be less.
- Texts on website and first post were proofread and corrected; now they should look much better for English speakers. Thanks to psychocoin.
- There is work being done (for reward) to port replays to web. In the future this can be extended to actually playing the game in your browser.
- We are working on improving the game; in particular, to make level generation much faster (now it may take several seconds for people with slow CPUs).
- As for promotion, several people who want to promote Motocoin contacted me; I'm now discussing it with them. But actually, anyone can spread the word about Motocoin if they wish.
good job dev, I think one very important thing you left out though. There should be a mac wallet. IOS / android app that you can mine from would be great too for community growth Everything should be taken step by step. This project is interesting but everyone is expecting everything all at once. I think the most important issue right now is finding another competent Dev to help the current one as this project might be too large for a single person alone.

Greets guys, Having some difficulties compiling the daemon here. I want to add HUC to my p2pool node and have already compiled 5 other wallet daemons - including NMC - without issues, so I know it's not a dependency thing. Here's a copy of the error I keep getting: obj/db.o: In function `void CDiskBlockIndex::Unserialize<CDataStream>(CDataStream&, int, int)': db.cpp:(.text._ZN15CDiskBlockIndex11UnserializeI11CDataStreamEEvRT_ii[_ZN15CDiskBlockIndex11UnserializeI11CDataStreamEEvRT_ii]+0x175): undefined reference to `int ReadWriteAuxPow<CDataStream>(CDataStream&, boost::shared_ptr<CAuxPow>&, int, int, CSerActionUnserialize)' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [huntercoind] Error 1 I'm running Xubuntu 14.04 64bit & my make syntax is: make -f Makefile clean; make -f Makefile USE_UPNP=1 I get the same error if I try to compile without upnp also...... Hope you can help me out - would love to get into this coin Thanks. Anyone? Did you try PM'ing Domob?

Poloniex is experiencing withdraw problems.
Do not withdraw right now.
I'll update
Update: withdrawals are working now, at least they worked for me but Angela from Poloniex had to reset a pending withdrawal I had

Great to see our coders engaging in constructive criticism and suggestions! In the meantime - Poloniex seem to have some problems with their HUC wallet according to what I'm seeing on their chatting system, something to do with syncing as usual. The day when HUC will have a much lighter blockchain to handle will be a very happy day indeed

Coin must go proof of stake or it dies.
Thats all, thats how you create a value in national crypto - get rid of miners / daily dumpers.
I agree with this - probably will not be so easy. In the meantime what can we do to help promote in the run up to the D2D? Aside from sharing on twitter/reddit/facebook? More awareness raised about it on other cryptocurrency forums, including other threads on BTCtalk itself. Mention MUN in exchange chat-boxes. There are lots of different modes of promotion.

Wait for the coin to be spread widely and for its value to stabilise itself. Do not think about exchanges for now - the coin still needs to reach the hands of a lot more people before even thinking about such medium-sized exchanges. Avoid the same-old newbie mistakes of buying a couple hundred coins of a currency and immediately wanting it to hit a bigger exchange - the value will rise for a few days at most and then crumble quickly. Wait until the Dev team irons out most of the major problems in MOTO first.
|
|
|
And what about the communication with public (government) services, this is the national currency?
Before even remotely considering having Muniti work alongside the Euro, there is a very, very long way to go. Suffice it to say that such a proposition would only be feasible at the end of the D2D distribution.

Is it possible to start playing the game when you don't have any coins yet? Or does it require making a purchase first (on an exchange)?
You need some coins to start playing. I'll happily send some over for you to try the game if you want. Thanks for the reply SnailBrain. It's good to get a clearer idea of how the team is operating at the moment. The only reason why I was asking was because Mithrilman's client was coded differently and I was wondering why. The update I'm looking forward to the most is the pruning one - once that's settled, I'll have Bittrex adding HUC and I can also start preparing a marketing effort at the start of July. Hopefully by then the major updates will be ready

Domob,
Where can we send tips to you?
Thanks,
BAC
I'd send some tips too. Btw, I don't know if this is currently actual or not - but are domob and mithrilman part of the development team, or mere freelancers working on HUC? Perhaps fully integrating them into the team would work better as they seem to be doing a lot of work for HUC.

Hey!! We are IndiaMikeZulu, and we come in peace. Our 'Crypto Town Project' is 'regional' -- that is, it is about crypto development in Australia, which has some oddities that make 'regional co-operation' valuable. You guys may be the only other coiners with a tourism-development project. Nice!!! Yes, there are commercial developments underway, but not tourism development. So, we couuld hate each other -- we are in competition. Or . . . we could say, 'Well, let's co-operate. There is room for all.' Do you have a travel agent accepting Muniti or Other? We are looking for one in Perth, Western Australia. Let's swap contacts!
Mark Blair, very bottom left hand corner of Australia http://www.reddit.com/r/GotCrypto/comments/25b033/commercial_development_workshop/Please contact our team on muniticoin@gmail.com with more details regarding your project. There are a lot of Maltese emigrants in Australia and we'd like to work with you. So far, no travel agent is accepting Muniti but we're certainly open to such opportunities. On a related note - ex-Inter and ex-Argentina captain Javier Zanetti is currently in Malta, as he is a cultural ambassador for Malta. We will be trying to contact him in order to obtain an endorsement on Muniti if possible. It will be very difficult, that is certain, but if it works out - it would be a great promotional boost.

Reward for developers There is special reward for 3 developers of Motocoin - each developer will get 150k motocoins. There will be tens of millions of motocoins so 150k is not very large amount (and some currencies are 100% premined). Also this reward ensures that developers will have strong reason to support Motocoin. Part of these coins will be used for bounties and giveaways. So what is the total premine? Is it 150k x 3 = 450k MOTO + another amount reserved for the creator and bounties/giveaways? Or is it 450k MOTO in total? I think this is a crucial point to clarify. 450k in total. Bounties are paid from these 450k. Part of these coins will be used for bounties and giveaways. So it's not true that each developer will get 150k MOTO right? I'm just asking because these inconsistencies normally do not help in building trust for a coin. I personally have no problems with pre-mines if they're utilised correctly but at least full transparency ought to go with it hand in hand.

Why isn't Mithrilman's client integrated into the wallet itself if it's better than the current one being used?

How many coins will be distributed in one hand?
156 for each household. Here's a picture of the main wallet: And this one is of the secondary wallet: http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u429/radi324/munitisecondarywallet_zps036bfb69.jpgAs MurrayPaul explained, the only transfers were from the secondary wallet in order to test and prepare the paper wallets which will be distributed. Eventually the secondary wallet will be at 0 as the paper wallets are distributed.

One needs to be careful that HUC is not exposed to too many exchanges if it's at a precarious stage - I'm talking from experience. Maybe the best option would be to wait until the disaster and pruning update have been finalised, and then get us on Bittrex. It's only a short wait.

Let me get back from work and I will check on whether the address has changed. Rest assured the pre-mine is still here and safe, and that the only transfers recently done were from the smaller wallet in order to test the paper wallets. Screenshots will be provided as well just for surety's sake.

We just finished testing a number of paper wallets and everything seems to be in order. We'll have them settled and printed by Monday; it will be a bit tight but that is the earliest we can manage with the printing company who we're operating with.
