I also had trouble finding my ignis coins using ardor wallet. When I first logged into the account, I could see ARDR coins and also there was ignis under "Coin Exchange", but with 0 amount. It turns out, before logging into the account, you need to choose "IGNIS" under "Active Chain" option first. You can switch between chains straight in the client also, button bellow your account id and balance (top left) |

Make sure you don't run your client on testnet. And install full client, not lite. Blockchain is small, not big issue to have it locally. |

I am using nxt client and I have my wallet private key so how can I get the free coins?
Install Ardor client 2.0.11 from www.jelurida.com and login with your Nxt account id or passphrase (private key). And switch to Ignis chain in client. |

Guys how can I use my wallet without passphare? Normally I have used my web wallet with my password and masterpassword.
Now I am opening nxt desktop wallet and joining my account, but I can not sell or transfer nothing. It asks me passpharase.. I already backedup my wallet, but I can not find my passphare.. What should I do?

Install the full node client....The light version does not work well and you will always get the reported message. By installing the full node client does this automatically make your computer a full node? Or are their extra commands you need to do? This looks like the right project for me to get a node online as I have alot of ram and cpu power is just sitting idle. Might as well put them to good use wouldn't you agree? If there is a tutorial on youtube showing the steps involved in getting one online that would be appreciated. Thanks. Just install Ardor client 2.0.10 from www.jelurida.com (do not select lite mode and testnet during install) and you are set. Please also note, node starting from scratch could take some time, do not interrupt process. |

You would have to analyze/decompile the minergate binaries and prove that it does something suspicious. It's also probable that some other infection in your system is the culprit. I hope that eventually there is support for Ardor and Ignis from one of the major bitcoin hardware wallet providers. That would solve the theft problem. In the meantime what you can do to protect yourself is run the wallet software on Linux within a virtual environment (Vmware, Virtualbox). Also make sure your wallet passphrase is sufficiently strong and always clear your computer's clipboard if you copy/paste your passphrase. You can google how to do this. Whatever you copy remains in your computer's clipboard until you restart the machine.
Security is always the biggest "Achilles's heel" with crypto. We are in the early stages of the crypto revolution and as always all revolutions are messy and it always leaves a pile of victims behind.
Gotta say what bugs me about Ardor is that there is no way to set up a 2FA for the wallet. That sucks, in particular if you have a lot of coins like that unfortunate fella.
