61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 04, 2021, 09:06:10 AM

i think the absence of a product/project that is successful is a hint that it is not a viable technology all together. bitcoin technology is, blockchain "tech" may not even be usable, meaningful tech that can be viewed as progress.

I think you are right. IT people scratched their heads and everyone threw in the money.

its like someone just invented the spreadsheet - yeah so or take my money?

But unless you're getting a good return  - it's not an investment.

But unless you're getting a good return *edit*The underlying asses is decreasing in value*edit* - it's not an investment.

Say BTC drops 20k, but I put my 20k out into USD"x" I now have 2 bitcoins not one. Right?

On the downs money parked in stable coins makes sense.

Not a lot of the exchanges have real money pairs.

This way you can take advantage of the price situations.

I hope you are right.

I am monitoring the charts eagerly.

Monero is not looking so hot yet

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: January 29, 2021, 08:39:29 PM
Stable coins are not appropriate for investing by any means! Stable coins are appropriate for putting away our capital out of the unpredictability of the market. The motivation behind investing is to acquire benefits out of the vacillations of the price. Stable coins is made to keep their value stable, how might we acquire benefits out of it?

Yeah but, can a stable coin go to zero? or not?

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: January 29, 2021, 07:13:50 PM
A stable coin could be tempting if it will hold to the dollar in the next big dip.

73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: January 29, 2021, 05:17:28 PM
The market is very much resisting a crash scenario

Surging onwards from here.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 29, 2021, 05:15:22 PM
I have spent a few Monero in the last few weeks.

Honestly it was quicker and easier than bitcoin.

Maybe the seller respected the payment method more or something.
