I've restarted a few seednodes. Let me know if connections get better

yep, synced up almost right away - 4 nodes and counting

Thx, seems to work. I didn't specify port as I'll just add a conf file to the secondary roaming folder.

I got creative and created a video - http://youtu.be/Mi45mtv5vaY

If The cmd window that opens when running the second node, can it be closed after the client launches or does it have to remain open ?

If it can be closed, how / what might one add to the batch file so it closes after the clients launched and connected to the "secondary" roaming folder ?

review the command line options and instead of running it from the bat file, place a shortcut on your desktop pointing to the binary and modify it.  under the 'target' include the same command line options from the bat file.  each short-cut would have it's own set of options (specific to each MN directory).

hope that helps.

Big ol, HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH

open the .bat file in notepad - you'll see the following:

GorillaBucks-Qt.exe -datadir=masternodedirectory -port=36482 -rpcport=36482

Instead of running those from the bat file (which is OK I suppose) you can create a shortcut to the QT executable on your desktop (right-click on qt and drag to desktop -> release -> create shortcut).

then right click on shortcut, select properties, and on the Target line, add in -datadir -port -rpcport and any other qt options.  apply/save the settings.  then when you double-click on the shortcut it'll execute with those options.

in this way, you can create multiple short cuts each with their own -datadir and port directives.

I see the switches, but there is reference in the thread to other 'goodies' - what else you got and whats the going rate on the switches?

What would the new conf files name be bucks, GorillaBucks ? Case sensitive ?

Ty.

you can name the config file anything you want - just specify it in the command startup with -conf=config.conf

also, for those that aren't aware of the various command line options, run the executable with --help and it'll report all the available runtime options.

I couldn't find it were this was answered before, so I'll just ask in case it hadn't been cleared up previously.

For coins that are still confirming (from stake) will those be counted into the swap, or do coins have to be fully mature before they are counted?

For example, I'm staking 10,000 MMXIV and I just receive a 500 MMXIV, but confirms won't be cleared until after the snapshot.

Will those coins count toward my swap, so 10,500 versus 10,000?

Free bump for pretty impressive power supplies and a good seller.  I've bought some other gear and you can't go wrong with quakefiend420.

There is going to be one FINAL major change coming soon that will affect all four coins

Looking forward to more details.  Have been holding almost all of my MMXIV since January - ready to see the next milestone.

It's difficult (for me atleast) to make out the end on the image from the Amazon link - can you take a pic of the appliance side power input?
76  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 28mh Scrypt Miner or Trade on: March 04, 2015, 07:51:30 PM
OH I know its fucked up and don't know why ppl pay more than $8 per mh for those 1.3mh miners. But apparently they do. I've check out ebay and ppl are paying about $35 for them. Thats how I got that estimate. Believe me I know its messed up. But that's people for ya.

yea, but you're talking about people on ebay - those people generally don't know any better.  So if you want to charge ebay prices, you'll probably need to limit your self to ebay or maybe craigslist.

But people here (generally) are in the know and won't pay a premium price for it.  For comparison sake, the last deal I worked out was for about $8MH/s and that INCLUDED power.

Anyway, I won't hijack your thread any more.  The Furys are decent little miners, I have 15 of them and they work without fail.  If anyone is interested in buying them, atleast you're buying something with a bit of quality.

$10 Shipped for the 1.3 MHs

No ty. I will take $35 and includes shipping.

Your logic doesn't make sense.  You want $35 shipped for the 1.3MH unit, which if you back out about $5 for shipping, then you're at 30 for 1.3MH which is about $23/MH.  But for the other miner you only want $8/MH.

See anything wrong there?

If only there was a LTC (or other secondary) market...

If only.....................

Yea, I'd like to see an LTC or DRK market/exchange for 10K and/or MMXIV.  It's one of the reasons I liked trading on Cryptsy, with the different trading markets.
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using different ASICs with the same cgminer instance on: February 23, 2015, 07:20:37 AM
Someone asked if I could update this with Gridseed information, here is what I have.  I no longer have the 5chip orbs, I only have the blades, but this is what I previously used.

Similarly to the zeus-options mentioned above, the Gridseed devices (and cgminer with compiled in support) has this:

Code:
--gridseed-freq # which accepts a frequency override per unit (identified by device serial number)
--gridseed-options
--gridseed-override

which accept the following

  • baud=
# i believe this should always be set to 115200
  • freq=
# list of supported values are here: http://cryptomining-blog.com/1828-updated-cgminer-3-7-2-and-cpuminer-for-overclocking-gridseed-5-chip-gc3355-asics/
  • chips=
# this is the number of chips per device, which is 1 for the single usb miner, 5 for the orb, and 80 for the blade

so in theory, you'd start cgminer like so:

# this will set all connected gridseed miners to a frequency of 850mhz (stable stock speed) with a chip count of 5
cgminer --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850,chips=5

# further, you can address individual gridseed devices by their serial number (only tested with 5 chip devices)
cgminer --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850,chips=5 --gridseed-freq serial1=888,serial2=875

# and lastly, you can set the global option for any connected device, and then an option per unit like so
cgminer --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850,chips=5 --gridseed-override serial1=baud=115200,freq=850,chips=1;serial2=baud=115200,freq=800,chips=80

I hope this helps someone.

Does your asking price include the power supplies to run everything
