Watching the 'peaceful' protests unfold in my neighbouring country France I wonder if Prigozhin should ask the french next time on how to properly overthrow a government. /s

Though in all seriousness, it looks like something very bad is brewing there, not looking good at all r/n.

Dammit!  It seems like something bad is brewing at Twitter as well.  I'm being coerced to sign up in order to view the content but I've only ever wanted to be a passive listener; guess I'm done with Twitter now too (for the second time).  Oh well, it happened before; I guess I should have expected it.

You can use nitter to view twitter posts without logging in. This wired page explains how to use it.

You can easily change any Twitter URL to a Nitter URL by simply replacing "twitter.com" with “nitter.net”—for example: Instead of twitter.com/WIRED, you would type nitter.net/wired.

Instead of

https://twitter.com/bitcointalk

use

https://nitter.net/bitcointalk

I had used nitter previously and was reminded of it early this morning but I had no luck with it... then I found this:

 R.I.P. Nitter 😭 #919

and this comment from sunlightspectre is my fave:

"There are plenty of people who only engage in the modern internet through front-ends; myself being one of them. I have no interest in registering for sites; it took me ages to register a proper git.

One wonders what will happen when these self-inflicted stab-wounds deplete 'profit' rather then generate it?..
Removing access isn't going to make people want to use a site more.
And it certainly won't inflate user numbers, which I'd imagine is the end goal.

C'est la vie.

I'm glad I got to experience the internet as it was.
"

Damn, it was working this morning, but now when I try to view

https://nitter.net/bitcointalk

I get this.

It might just be temporary.

Damn. From green candle to bloody dildo. The balls are formed as we speak. Looks like I jinxed it.

Never mind, it will go up again.

$32k tonight, as Phil says.

I am taking off today. Going to play with the wife today. Maybe go to six Flags Great adventure food fest.

lots of food to eat should be fun.

Better than beating on buddy for not doing proper lifts.

You just missed the Waikiki SPAM JAM food festival in Honolulu.

https://www.facebook.com/WaikikiSpamJam/

You could have tried the spam, spam, spam, egg, rice, and spam.

The next one's almost a year away.

Put this female urinal in the empty box to make the completed product. You just stick the small end in a plant pot instead of a plastic bottle and say it's "unisex".

It is also true that space tourism is advancing at a faster pace compared to space exploration.

Why is that? Maybe "men in black" is real.

UK inflation holds at 8.7% despite all the interest rate increases so far.

I expect the Bank of England to go with a 0.50 raise tomorrow taking the base rate to 5%.

The housing market is collapsing regardless as new mortgage rates are above that, 6+%.

America's the same.

In the face of inflation it's still hard to even think about selling corn.
My car is taking up servicing and repair costs as high a month as my DCA now.
Problem 1: I love the car.
Problem 2: Cars got so expensive, even used ones (no one wants to sell).

I have the same problem. The cost of a normal checkup, oil, filters, brakes, the usual stuff reaches is almost 1 full minimum wage.
The problem is I have 4x4 and was planning to change the diff+haldex clutch oil and flush the gearbox this year, but I guess it's going to wait till the next one... I feel pain every time I take it for a spin, like it's crying, choking on those old fluids. Girls won't understand.
