The council of Tarsdorf voted in their 17 November 2020 session to have the village's name officially changed to Fugging (pronounced the same as Fucking in the dialect spoken in the region), effective 1 January 2021.

The following month, signs with the new name were vandalised to read "Fucking".

they will be following in the footsteps of stadium bosses in Switzerland who were forced to change their name from Wankdorf because red-faced stars were too embarrassed to play there.

The name of the venue - in Bern - was changed to Stade de Suisse after concert dates dried up. One of the few who did not cancel was Robbie Williams who played in front of 40,000 fans and asked the crowd: "Is this place really called ‘Wankdorf’? What kind of name is that?"

But the Wankdorf shopping centre next door to the stadium kept it's name - and the Swiss village of Wank also kept its name. In fact two years ago Wank residents urged the Fucking residents to lighten up - open a few guests houses and sell souvenirs to cash in on their fame.

The Wank Guest House, they said, was full all year round.

China Evergrande Group looks set to avert another default in its biggest test since the property developer’s debt crisis began.

Customers of international clearing firm Clearstream received overdue interest payments on three U.S. dollar bonds issued by Evergrande, a spokesperson for Clearstream said. Two investors that hold two of the bonds confirmed that they received the payments, asking not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly.

Investors had been waiting to see if the embattled developer would make the coupon payments totaling $148.1 million before the end of 30-day grace periods on Wednesday.

Such is the dire state of the company, experts now predict the company will announce bankruptcy in a "matter of days". According to Deutsche Marktscreening Agentur (DMSA), the collapse of the company could now have dire consequences for the financial system. DMSA itself has invested in bonds paid to Evergrande and did not receive interest repayments from the company.

Due to these missed repayments, DMSA is now preparing bankruptcy proceedings against Evergrande.

"But so far we have not received any interest on our bonds.

"With banks in Hong Kong closing today, it's certain that these bonds have defaulted."

To top it off, risk-off is accelerating on the news that the cash-strapped China Evergrande Group has missed coupon payments by the end of a 30-day grace period, pushing the developer again to the edge of default.

Update: In more recent trade, the headlines are now stating that the company has met at least one of its deadlines for repayments, but there are reports that bankruptcy proceedings are still underway.

Who has the highest BTC balance?  Not me.  I've got more than 1000 but less than 4000.

I've got > 2000 and < 5000.  Last year when I started I remember thinking "I hope one day to have 200".  On then on the way down from $32 I kept scooping them up with my biggest haul coming in at $2.4x after the last $2.00 bounce.  I keep saying to myself, "I've got enough", and I think I've got plenty, but it'd sure be nice to have 10,000...

As bearish as I am and remain, I've still got a nice stash of bitcoins in offline storage that intend to keep forever, even though recent price movements have been tempting me to sell.

Ok, guys, now that I've bought in again I'm switching to bull mode.  Rally on!  The fundamentals are sound.  Notice how I've changed my avatar to reflect my new position.

My hunch is that the next rally phase is going to leave as many bodies in its wake as the decline from the $32 high has - many people who are out BTC and into cash aren't going to be able to jump back on quick enough and will end up taking a big hit to their BTC position.

I guess this is as good a time as ever to admit that I went all in back at $2.4 but have had my finger very nervously over the sell button ever since.

I wouldn't say that.  I sincerely thought the price was going to fall through $2.00 and keep going.  When it looked like things were going to go better than expected, I hopped back on.  And in the nick of time, too.

A rehabilitation plan that would reunite Mt. Gox victims with billions of dollars has been overwhelmingly approved.

A whopping 99% of affected creditors cast a vote on the proposals, with 83% saying they were in favor of the plans that had been put forward by the trustee.

The outcome of the ballot is expected to be finalized in a month’s time — and from here, repayments will begin to be made.

Creditors seeking to regain Bitcoin lost on the Japanese exchange Mt. Gox in 2014 have a chance to get their digital assets back before legal claims are settled.

CoinLab Inc. said an agreement with Nobuaki Kobayashi, the trustee to the Mt. Gox bankruptcy, and MGIFLP, a unit of Fortress Investment Group LLC, will allow creditors to consider an offer of as much as 90% of the remaining Bitcoin tied up in the bankruptcy.
